You do great work! Although, now you've seen Civil War, maybe you could try to re-create the move from the "really old movie" (I won't say anymore for those who haven't seen it yet)...

Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation
Felkin replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm sure we'll get GOTG sets next year for "Volume 2", but could we get sets in other years based on the cartoon series? I'd love to see more space villains... Skrulls and Galactus come to mind, and if they were tie-ins for the cartoon, it would get around Fox and Marvel's uh, undying hatred disagreement, like Dr Doom in Ultimate Spidey, or Ronan in GOTG. Or is this too much to hope for? -
Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
Felkin replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yup. I'm thinking Greyback's head from HP for the face. Next to the "PP + GS" graffiti, there's something that looks like "AGC". Is that a reference to something, from the clone saga maybe? -

It's the same hairpiece used for Dr. Strange in the Lego Marvel game a few years ago, maybe it's the old curse of Lego working off concept air and going into production before the movie itself actually started filming. If we're getting grey on the sides, that hairpiece might be easier to print on, too. (Doesn't mean I won't be giving my minifig Superman's new hair, though...) -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Felkin replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
True. I was astonished we didn't get Green Lantern in a Lego Movie set. Hope we get all the main cast, though: new Batgirl, classic Robin, Alfred... maybe even a proper Commissioner Gordon... *fingers crossed* -
I actually like the Wonder Woman head for Maria Hill, seeing as they have both been played by Cobie Smulders (she is Hill in both the films and the Lego Marvel game, and Diana in the Lego Movie), so I assumed using the same head was actually an in-joke. For Carol Danvers, try the Princess Leia / Princess Tamina head from a few years ago, it should be a close match to Carol's masked head, the newer Leia/Agent 13 head lips are a different colour.

That's the New 52 Dick Grayson Robin, only featured in flashbacks if I recall correctly. Although I think it makes a better Jason Todd, IMO...

Raven in the Ras set actually makes sense by Lego standards: the daughter of a demon vs the head of the demon. If they can have a beetle vs a moth shoehorned into the Scarecrow set, I can see Raven being rescued from Ras (after Batman had to rescue the rest of the Titans in Jokerland).

Fantastic Beasts 2018 - Speculation & Future Set Discussion
Felkin replied to Ookami's topic in LEGO Licensed
If Harry Potter does come back to Lego, I hope we get a new Snape minifig. He's a great character, and it would be a great tribute to the sorely missed Alan Rickman. -
It's in the March/April newsletter on the UK Lego website. "Free Mr Freeze minifigure with any Lego DC Comics Super Heroes purchase over £50". Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they're not pulling another Helicarrier / Winter Soldier on us by making it exclusive to the '66 Batcave, but it sounds like a ploy to sell the new £55 Batwing.

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion

Do you mean the ears piece? Nice to hear they're including a spare. Now if only they'd included an alternate T'Challa head for him unmasked (like Carol Danvers). -
Ghostbusters (Reboot) 2016 sets rumors and discussion
Felkin replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Might there be a second set? Or a Dimensions pack; they have the license, so it makes sense the new Ghostbusters could appear in the game. -

"Hate" is too mild a word. I'm liking the bridge, a good mix of play set and display, although I don't get why they can't make a proper Spider-Woman just because of the SDCC fig (is this why she's being called Spider-GIRL?) Still a cool fig, although mine will probably get black hair at some point. I just wish Gwen was in the set... although, given her history with bridges, I don't blame Lego for steering clear of that particular association. -
Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation
Felkin replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm hoping for a Daredevil figure at some point. Looking at that new ears headpiece for Black Panther (& probably White Tiger), I'm thinking it would work for Daredevil; colour it red, spin it around... could we see Matt Murdock in a set sometime? Although I'm worried the "adult" TV show means it'll never happen. -
I like the Batmobile polybag. Nice to see the new Batmobile without guns...

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
Felkin replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
Agreed, although if he's not in the Civil War sets, maybe we'll get him included in an Avengers Assemble-based set in his classic costume. "Infinity War part 1" doesn't come out until 2018, so I imagine we might get some classic comics versions of the Avengers this year or next. -

WOOO! Please be an affordable black-suited Spidey! Please! -
Batman sells, and new variants of his sidekicks make the sets more interesting. I sure hope so! Having a Robin who flies would make sense, and look awesome!

Could Killer Croc be similar to TMNT's Leatherhead fig, minifig legs and a bulkier piece for the torso and head? Maybe even the same piece repainted? Bigger than a minifig, smaller than a bigfig (although preferably with jaws that open); seems ideal for Killer Croc. I was considering getting that fig anyway as my own Croc before this was announced.

Well, that WOULD explain why the town is called Christmas! And lots of planets have a North (Pole)...

Surely Lego would wait until the Ideas DW set was out before deciding to dedicate a whole CMF line to a new property like Doctor Who? Unless the Dimensions level set has sold like hotcakes, it's still an unproven franchise? I mean, I hope it happens! It sounds like a great way to get us some cool aliens and the rest of the Doctors... I'm just not sure how many kids who collect and swap minifigs would be excited at the chance to own a Paul McGann or Colin Baker minifig (for example)!

Ahem! I'm sure the BBC must be doing new deals with the holders of the rights of "classic Who" characters / creatures, though; they put K-9 in the Dimensions set. I've actually seen the contract between the BBC and the creators of K-9 (back when they wanted to make a K-9 TV show), and they agreed to part ways amicably; K-9 could have his own show so long as he didn't look like the classic character or reference Doctor Who (hence the new design), and Doctor Who retains the rights for classic K-9 to appear a handful of times on Doctor Who / Sarah Jane Adventures (hence why K-9 was usually absent on SJA), and the BBC agreed to not feature him in future merchandising. I'm not sure when that contract dates from (I was supposed to be working, not reading all the legal files), but if they managed to make a new deal to put K-9 in Dimensions, hopefully it's a good sign that the BBC sees the value of the old characters, and we might see other classic characters / monsters in Lego form!

So far, we usually only see dual molded legs in the more expensive sets, but in the prelim I've seen, it looks like Batman does have it, although whether that'll be in the final set or not we'll have to wait and see.

Lego's done Toy Story before; with a fourth Toy Story movie in the works (not to mention already having the moulds), might we see Woody & Buzz in the line-up?!
