  1. Makes sense. Most of the locations from the HP books / films were already made into sets; Hogwarts Castle, the Hogwarts Express, Diagon Alley... any new sets are likely to be remakes to some degree. So long as we get a good range of characters and creatures, I'll be happy! Some fans seem to think there's new trains coming in the City line this summer; any chance you've heard if we might get a new motorised Hogwarts Express?
  2. It’s from Cole in Ninjago, exclusive to 9572 “NRG Cole”. Would look better with Ghost Rider’s flaming skull head, I think.
  3. The Mighty Micro Flash torso might be good for Shazam. I love the use of Bart Simpson’s arms; you might want to get the red legs with yellow “boots” from the Fun at the Beach set if you can.
  4. Likewise. I’m hoping for new facial expressions; the Dimensions figs seem a bit bland. Let’s have Blossom and Bubbles with proper smiles (and Buttercup with a good scowl!)
  5. Hopefully we'll get a Suicide Squad-type situation where various Teen Titans / Young Justice characters start showing up in sets, probably in their comic book outfits. Aqualad in an Aquaman set (with Scuba Batman, no doubt)? Artemis with Green Arrow, etc? And they've GOT to give us a proper Raven sometime! Unfortunately, I doubt we'll get anything based directly on a TV show. I'm still surprised we haven't gotten a Flash variant in Dark Red based on his TV outfit, for example. Which is a shame, this year's big crossover would make a great set: Supergirl, Flash and Green Arrow against their evil Earth-X counterparts!
  6. They are currently filming Avengers 4, so I think that’s why Ant-Man & Wasp are included. Wasp’s suit looks good, looking forward to finally getting a Wasp minifig next year!
  7. Plus, steam trains have tenders (holds the coal and water behind the cab, in case you don’t know the term). Got the first Hogwarts Express with Platform 9 3/4 back in the day, and couldn’t understand why Lego missed off half the train! So long as any new sets are a bit more accurate, I’ll be happy.
  8. It's far from a done deal, but here's hoping it happens eventually. Getting X-Men and F4 Lego sets would be awesome if they joined the MCU. We might even get an X-Men set that doesn't have Magneto fighting Wolverine!
  9. TheBrickFan.com has links to large pictures of all the new characters: https://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-dc-comics-super-heroes-more-2018-product-images/ Killer Frost still looks wrong with Magpie's hair, but overall looks like a good wave.
  10. I hope you're not including the 2011 Diagon Alley set in that; if more Lego sets were as beautiful as that, I'd be one happy AFOL. I agree, some of the sets seemed to just be a random collection of minifigures with a lacklustre build; the Forbidden Forest springs to mind (the big showdown between Harry and Voldemort, and we get... a tree with a technic beam sticking out the side of it), hopefully Lego will put a bit more effort into the new sets, especially since there are no more Harry Potter films to drive sales, and they need the sets to stand out to children on the toy shop shelves.
  11. I hope we get another Teen Titans set soon, ala "Jokerland", with the Young Justice characters (and a proper Raven!)
  12. I love that other expression for CK! I hope he comes with the new hotdog piece; looks like he's just finished stuffing his face. Gotta love a weapon that also serves food!
  13. They mean the sets with Deadshot, Harley, Killer Croc and Captain Boomerang that were released around the time of the Suicide Squad movie; Lego didn't want to make sets based on the actual movie, because it wasn't seen as a kid-friendly film, but they included comic book versions of the main characters in sets that came out around that time. Hopefully, we'll get a comic book version of Daredevil in a set sometime (maybe teamed up with Spider-Man; kids love Spidey), but it definitely won't be based on the adult-themed Netflix shows.
  14. I hope we get plenty of magical creatures; otherwise, the set(s) will just have a bunch of school children in vaguely old fashioned classrooms (which doesn't look that exciting to the general public). I'm hoping for a new Basilisk, personally! Trolls, werewolves, dragons, Dementors, most of the creatures from Fantastic Beasts... even if most of them are brick-built, there's lots of scope for exciting sets.
  15. Since when have people on this forum been happy to wait for an official reveal?! But I'm wondering... what figures from TLBM are left to be in a Wayne Manor set? Bruce Wayne and Alfred were both in the Batcave, Lobster Loving Batman and civilian Dick were both in the CMF... I know it's been called Wayne Manor, but I'm thinking it might actually be Joker Manor. The Joker, the main villain, isn't in any of the other upcoming TLBM sets, and maybe we'd get some of the other Dimensions villains ("British robots", maybe). If it is Wayne Manor, most of the minifigs would surely have to be repeats, and Lego would avoid that to encourage us to buy all the sets?
  16. Which is a bit weird, since Stegosaurus and Triceratops (a personal favourite) both look amazing and threatening, even though they were herbivores. Hopefully we'll get dinos that actually appear in the film (I'm looking at you, Dilophosaurus)!
  17. Hopefully we'll get some comics-based sets in the second half of 2018, maybe an Avengers Tower or Mansion with the Mark 1 armour as part of the set, like in the films where old armours are on display. The new Iron Man mask is ideal for it, just hopefully a bit less cartoon-y than the Mighty Micro version.
  18. I doubt they'd do any sets based entirely on old films, when every year has 3 new Marvel films they'd rather promote. But hopefully they could include significant minifigs as part of other sets (like Coulson and Lola in the Detroit Steel set). Personally, I still want a Mark 1 Iron Man, maybe in a "wine cellar" set.
  19. It's to keep the SDCC exclusives, well, exclusive. If you thought that a SDCC "exclusive" would later be available in a set, that would take away the rarity value, and people wouldn't fight tooth and claw to get their hands on them (and give Lego publicity at the crowded SDCC). I'm sure we'll get another version of Shazam at some point. His movie costume when he finally gets his own film soon, or maybe his latest comic book outfit, but the classic look is probably off limits.
  20. As opposed to now, when his current head has the red eyes of skyscraper-destroying heat vision, or a wide grin that would look wacky even on a Might Micro?! What possible scene would call for two such different faces? "I just murdered a thousand innocent bystanders... and I couldn't be happier!" Does anyone know why Lego make the new piece for Firestorm's feet? I know it's to hold the new flame piece, but couldn't they have used the round 1x1 plate with the hole in the middle, either in solid red to match Firestorm's feet, or in trans-orange to match the flames (and would allow Firestorm's feet to move independently, unlike the new piece). At first, I thought it was because transparent colours might not be strong enough to make such a delicate brick, but looking at Batman's glider in the set, I just noticed that it uses that piece, and it's trans-orange! So why go to all the cost and effort of making a brand new piece?!
  21. Deadpool the Duck? Never heard of him, must be a friend of Spider-Ham! No loss if that's the exclusive.
  22. The one on the right looks cool, it looks pretty close to his signature sonic cannon. I actually wish they'd had something like Cyborg's arm (from the upcoming Justice League sets) for Blue Beetle; maybe we'll get it in the future, now they have the design. But yeah, it looks better than just the transparent-blue stud we're getting on the DCEU Cyborg fig.
  23. I love how the Flying Fox says "Wayne Technology" on the side! Way to go on the whole secret identity thing! "Bruce Wayne? Uh... who's that? Sounds like a cool guy."
  24. I meant physically released in a set. But yeah, that gameplay looks cool.
  25. Not to mention all the characters in the first game (Fantastic Four, X-Men, etc) that we're still waiting for. Hopefully, this time it's been better planned, and most characters will appear in sets. (Although I could do without Cowboy Captain America, to be honest...) So long as we get Spider-Gwen, I'll be happy. She's apparently in the new Spidey cartoon, so I'm sure it will happen.
