LEGO Star Wars 2019 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Felkin replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
No-one's suggesting that's the new set; I think it's set 7194 from back in 2002. Rather, it may be hinting at a new (as yet unseen) Yoda set, which leakers have said is on it's way later this year. -
Not new, it's the handle for the Fireman's pole (part 23422) with a hollow stud to keep it in place. Clever use of parts, I just wish it was available in gold for Harry's Nimbus 2000.

Jurassic World 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

The "baby Dilo" from the upcoming Dilophosaurus on the Loose set (the one with Owen riding a drone) would be the right size. Heck, the D2C might be why they made the new mould in the first place! -
Maybe try the swimming cap in black. If Macnair doesn't have a double-sided head, the Pirates headsquare might work too.
-
Activity books don't tend to have leaks of upcoming sets (sadly), the artists are allowed to make up stuff in the Lego style if they want to feature something that hasn't been physically released. If we ever did get Ron's Patronus, hopefully they'd use the terrier mould, rather than the generic dog the artist used. That otter would be cool to have, though!

He has, in the DVD movie "Scooby-Doo & Batman: The Brave & the Bold", but I doubt very much the set is based on that! I wouldn't mind that Batcave, though; it had display cases with costumes for Batman's former partners, including Batman & Nightwing's first outfits. -

Nope. It's the main character from the video game Okami. -

The Mk 85 actually looks quite good IMO. It's a slight upgrade on the IW armour, but the colours are clearly based on the classic comics, with the gold arms and legs. Since this movie will probably be the last we see of Iron Man for a while, it's cool that Marvel are referencing his classic outfit for Endgame. -
Buckbeak would be much better moulded, if only because Lego already has the perfect horse mould, it would only need a new head, some printed feathers on the front half, and brick-built wings like the Thestral. Plus, if they could do that, maybe they could make Centaurs the same way: a new connector for a minifig torso where the head plugs into the horse mould. I'm wish-listing a bit, I know, and completely new moulds are usually best, but if reusing the horse mould gets us Buckbeak (or even Centaurs), I'm all for it.

That was DUM-E, not Jarvis. It would be cool to see DUM-E in the Hall of Armours set (maybe with his fire extinguisher, or even his dunce cap). -

The Frank Rock hairpiece, maybe, or the DCEU Superman tousled wig. Easy swap if / when we get a Captain DC fig. -
Even if there’s a DW cameo in TLM2, there’s no guarantee we’d get any minifigs. TLBM sets didn’t have most of the non-DC characters, including the “British robots”. I hope I’m wrong, but I’m not holding my breath.

That’s a pity; we got some cool comics-based minifigs out of the line, and given how expensive Lego is, it was nice to see sets that kids could afford with their pocket money. I was never a fan of the cartoony faces, though; hopefully we might get something closer to the SW microfighters in the future, “proper” minifigs with mini versions of iconic vehicles. -
Looks awesome! I love the Battle Droid arms for the stone arch detailing, that’s very clever. Do the sinks open up? I’d love to see some more pictures!

I hope we don't get Scrooge McDuck, but only because DuckTales could be an entire CMF wave all by themselves!- 961 replies

I emailed Lego about this, and they gave me a completely different response. Hopefully, the packs will come to the UK... somehow. Eventually.

Either that hat (from the CMF Scarecrow, not the Batman villain), or just the fedora in white would work. Or just have him bald. Either way, more Jurassic Park/World sets are very welcome!

Amazon UK lists the same book, due for release on 14th May 2019. We sometimes get unique prints with these books, fingers crossed for cat-Hermione from Chamber of Secrets (reusing the Catwoman ‘66 hair and ears). And let’s face it, if any HP character should be included with a book, it’s Hermione!

I don’t think so; clocks like the Creator Big Ben 10253 use black socket wrenches for the hands, but I don’t think it would be any less “chunky”. Maybe you could use the new wand piece in black somehow.

There's a rumour that 76123 will be a $20 Captain America set, and 76125 will be a $60 Iron Man set. I wonder if these will be Avengers 4 sets, or are we getting some more comics-based sets? -
I emailed Lego last night about this, and this is the response I got a few hours ago: So, hopefully they WILL turn up... eventually. Somewhere. I don't want to have to pay eBay scalper prices for these packs!

Someone on Reddit did it; I think they said they put the motor in the locomotive's tender (which they had to enlarge to accommodate it). Search Reddit for "2018 Hogwarts Express Running", here's a link:

I never understood why Lego did this, when the Lego episode of The Simpsons featured normal minifig heads, just with new hair pieces. If this theme does ever return (after either Disney or Comcast buy Fox, probably), it might be easier and cheaper for Lego to reboot the theme without the moulded heads. Plus, using normal minifig heads would make it easier to give the characters different expressions, rather than simply "eyes open" or "eyes partly open".
