  1. Batmite's Batman glasses are adorable! It makes him look like a nerdy member of the Sons of Batman (the reformed Mutant gang members from the Dark Knight Returns comic).
  2. It's a reference to the original Jurassic Park hatchery, where the heat lamp (the white disc) would normally incubate the eggs, but would rise up to allow access for egg turning or the birth of dinosaurs (like the baby Raptor). As for why it's in a Lego set of an amusement park ride, I guess it's just an easter egg (see what I did there), and an extra bit of activity for kids to play with.
  3. New Joker looks awesomely creepy, although I wonder if they went with the white suit to look as different as possible to Joaquin Phoenix's Joker look. Rebirth Superman is okay, I guess, but why oh why it isn't his first appearance look like Batman and Wonder Woman, I have no idea. I'll be glad to get it since we never got a New 52 Superman, but there are so many better Superman looks they could have used, it's a missed opportunity.
  4. New mould; it has a red collar, floppy ears rather than the upright ears of the earlier CMF bulldog, and a stud on it's back. It's a bit weird Lego would make another bulldog mould, so either it's a fake, or it's part of a new HP line alongside the leaked disheveled owl which may be Errol. Ripper is only in Prisoner of Azkaban, and Errol is mostly seen in Chamber of Secrets, so maybe we're getting some sets based on the earlier films instead of, or in addition to, the expected Order of the Phoenix / Half-Blood Prince sets in summer 2020.
  5. A new bulldog has leaked; all white with a red collar. It's way too early to be a 2020 HP leak, but the mould will be perfect for Aunt Marge's bulldog Ripper in a future Privet Drive set (fingers crossed!).
  6. Very recognisable with the long red hair, it just needs Molly Weasley nagging him to get a haircut! Just a suggestion, you might want to use Owen's torn shirt from some of the Jurassic World sets to show Bill's (sorta) werewolf scratch.
  7. More Bricktober exclusive minifigs? Yay! Toys R Us collapsed in my country? Boo! I hope it's a Lego store gift with purchase in non-TRU countries.
  8. They could easily use the same helmet as the Retro Spaceman seen in your profile pic (albeit recoloured) for a Golden Age Adam Strange, since we know how much Lego loves to re-use a mould. As soon as I saw that guy in the CMF, I hoped it was a sign that Adam Strange was on his way (same as the Halloween Tiger Woman suggested a 1966 Catwoman was on her way). Fingers crossed!
  9. Comics-based sets can be great, but not when we're missing so many Endgame-accurate characters. The first Endgame wave of sets is so inaccurate, and we want a fitting conclusion to the Infinity Saga for our Lego minifig collections. Cap in his scale-armour, Tony with a nano-gauntlet, fat Thor, Ronin... the one new set with Hulk and Rescue is good, but it doesn't make up for such a lackluster series of sets for Endgame.
  10. A Blast-Ended Skrewt appears in the new Hagrid's Motorbike rollercoaster ride, despite not being in the movies, so they could definitely add one to a Lego set (since every set needs a "baddie" for the heroes to fight, ala the Basilisk added to the Great Hall). Maybe in a Care of Magical Creatures set (with a Niffler), or a new Hagrid's hut in a few years.
  11. Any chance this CMF series is based on the upcoming Arrowverse 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' crossover event? Lego hasn't done sets for Arrowverse before (excluding SDCC exclusives), but a vague tie-in with various iconic costumes would be cool.
  12. That's a good shout, the Abraxan (winged horse) would be ideal for Valkyrie! My only worry is whether Marvel would have told Lego about the scene. The 'Hulk Helicopter Drop' set proves that Lego either doesn't care about accuracy, or wasn't given spoilers about Endgame to prevent leaks (or both). Still, the inclusion of Rescue suggests that Lego will at least try to include some fan-favourites in the winter sets, so there is still hope for a new Valkyrie.
  13. I'm disappointed in this new set. Not at the inaccurate helicopter, but that the inaccurate helicopter isn't the bright yellow Thanos chopper! If the other 4 sets are indeed Endgame sets, I hope we'll get the Mighty Micro Infinity Gauntlet part in dark red for a minifig scale Nano Gauntlet.
  14. Lego has been using the same Superman costume since the DC Superheroes line launched in 2012 (except for sets based on the movies). It doesn't mean that Lego will NEVER give Superman a different outfit, but seven years later it still hasn't happened.
  15. This. Like the current Hogwarts sets can be collected and clicked together to make a larger playset, I thought several smaller Diagon Alley shops that can be collected to make the whole Diagon Alley (and Borgin & Burkes from Knockturn Alley) sounds like something Lego would do. I wouldn't say no to a D2C of Diagon Alley (like a larger version of 2011's Diagon Alley set), but since the Hogwarts Castle D2C is a "display piece" rather than a playset, I think Lego is likely to keep playsets as "regular" sets.
  16. I'm starting to think we won't get any Diagon Alley sets in 2020 or 2021. We're getting a modular Hogwarts in this series (2018 to presumably 2021), which all interconnects to make one big playset. What if they make a modular Diagon Alley in the years afterwards (Ollivanders for the first film, Flourish & Blotts for the second, Leaky Cauldron for the third, etc) to give us characters in their "muggle attire", and standalone Hogwarts classoom sets with characters in their robes (Snape's Potions dungeon, Lockhart's Defence Against the Dark Arts Cornish Pixies classoom, etc), similar to the original Lego sets in 2001.
  17. The story book with the Tale of the Three Brothers is inspired! I know it's unlikely, but I would love Lego to make this as a real set (presumably in 2021).
  18. I doubt it's a clue to Zatanna or Doomsday being in upcoming Lego sets, if that's what you mean. Trading card games featuring Lego characters are rarely (if ever) a hint at upcoming sets. For example, Sainsburys in the UK has a Lego collectible card game with all the old minifigures from the previously released Collectible Minifigure series; it doesn't mean that those figures are getting re-made. These sort of card games use official Lego images of characters, either from the real sets, or from the video games (which have lots more characters). They're not based upon concept art of upcoming sets. I would love to see Zatanna, Doomsday, and many others in sets, but alas, I think we'll be waiting a bit longer.
  19. Don't go looking for anything Harry Potter related at the Entertainer shop, the owners don't approve of witchcraft targeted at children, so their shops never stock anything Harry Potter branded, either Lego or anything else.
  20. There's a rumour going around that Deadpool might be introduced to the MCU in the Spider-Man: Far From Home sequel. It's just a rumour, and I'm sure Marvel are looking at lots of different ideas for introducing the X-Men / F4 characters, but it gives me hope that we might get a new Deadpool minifig sooner rather than later. If Deadpool can appear in a PG-13 movie with Spidey (hopefully in addition to an R-rated Deadpool 3), it means that Lego's avoidance of the Merc with a Mouth might soon be over.
  21. Don't. Don't give me hope. A Lego sauropod in a new set?! It must be too good to happen... right?
  22. Agreed, but the picture is of Doomsday as he appears in the latest Lego video game, so it's probably just taken from that. We ARE getting some variants from that game as actual minifigs (Joker, Riddler and Two-Face, I think), but if they made a big-fig Doomsday, I'd rather they didn't use that version (wearing his green containment suit with just half his face visible). It wouldn't have the same child appeal as his classic "big grey rock monster" look (plus, some kids would see a green bigfig and think he was a weird version of the Hulk).
  23. Most of the movie designs are close enough to the books to work for either. I didn't like movies 3 and 4 either (too dark... literally, I can't see what's happening), but I'll be getting these sets for my love of the books.
  24. Sorry if this is off-topic, but if there was going to be a December '19 / January '20 wave of Marvel sets based on Endgame, would be have heard about it by now? Obviously Marvel didn't trust Lego not to spill the beans with any Endgame spoilers (ala Giant-Man in Civil War), but might there be a winter wave to coincide with the home media release of Endgame with chain-mail Cap, Rescue, Ronin, and all the other amazing stuff we really want to see in minifig form?
  25. If you're just after minifigs, check out BrickLink.com and go to the "minifigs" section; under the category "Superheroes" you'll see a list of the different Lego Superhero themes there have been, including the two Guardians of the Galaxy movies, as well as Avengers Infinity War and Endgame. BrickLink has various sellers in different countries, so hopefully you can find what you need there.
