  1. I've used 2 210:1 geared down Firgelli actuators. Are your nxt2pf cables also pretty stiff? Could make the cable routing pretty hard.
  2. Still a lot to do on the super structure, counter weight and some details.
  3. 26: 10 22: 6 27: 4 33: 3 38: 2 34: 1
  4. Wow, really nice truck! Hope you'll make instructions, even if you won't win. Looking forward to see the truck and crane in action!
  5. Wow, the instructions are looking really good! Are the made entirely with lpub? Would you be so kind and you share the mpd-file to learn a bit about lpub? Yes, the LSynth parts and stepping was really great from gerger. The color-coding of the pf-components seems to be lost in your instructions. Was this on purpose? I didn't build the suspensed version, but the solid axle version is really good to play with! 3XL motors and two servos seems to be a good choice, at least without the additional weight of the upper structure.
  6. Wow, what a nice machine. I really like a annotations and the flexible spiral way. Do you have any kind of part estimate?
  7. Awesome video, the blending mode of the parts is a bit weird for me (the parts seem to grow instead of fade in). Many nice details like the cylinders!
  8. @afol1969: Do you have some kind of incomplete BI for us building at the weekend?
  9. Wow, sariel, seems to be pretty fast and stiff! although the wheel on the back seems to be a bit to heavy and is not necessary needed for driving.
  10. Hi gerger, thank you for the amazing work you did! The LSynth cables are looking great, hope you didn't needed that long for the other cables. I can't wait to finally build this beast. LPub seems to make a pretty reasonable BI from the LDRAW file.
  11. Wow, what a moc! The new bonnet is definitely an improvement. The idea with the rims is nice, but the open ends bugs me a bit. What are the white pins in the white connectors for the flex axle over the rims?
  12. Can using 4 hard shocks reduce the need for none lego actuators, see ?
  13. This could be a pretty good solution. Problem might be the bond between plasti dip and the the threads, especially around the links.
  14. There also an official solution for this issue: EV3 Track Rubber Elements/Blinklink, although it's pretty expensive...
  15. Adding 2 42009 will probably won't change the needed part count much. The current versions do not use suspension but 3 XL for driving, 2 servo for steering, 2 L for the outriggers and for the super structure 3 M, 1 L and 1 XL. The same functionality is offered by rebrickable for calculating the needed parts. I've also added the counterweight to my parts virtually, to exclude it from the calculations. I've bought additional parts for around 250€ for the ultimate + grove, without any pf.
  16. would be great. most of the parts i ordered for the grove were studded, even without the counterweight (current status: ultimate + extended boom waiting for sbricks). The parts count can be calculated with rebrickabl, the posted files and ldraw/ldd. The current pieces are around 1000€ + pf.
