Yes absolutely, it is the final piece of the puzzle as far as being able to make an accurate X-wing in lego goes. I'm not sure if we'll keep getting that awful one that they keep using, but hopefully not.

[LDD][MOC][Micro] B-Wing - X-wing - Y-Wing - Millennium Falcon

Really great. My only immediate changes would be to change the 2x2 vent tiles on the mandibles of the Falcon to 1x1 pieces, they stick out a bit given your excellent scaling of the rest of the ship. -
This is really starting to come together, interior is looking fantastic !
-
They are doing just that. It'll only be a playset version which is disappointing though

You're referring to Biggs Darklighter. I also have edited Bard's face, I just need to get ahold of his pilot helmet. I'm still looking for a suitable Wedge face as well. (http://i.imgur.com/yMNC7za.jpg)

The new TIEs do shot backwards. We saw multiple shots of the new TIEs in the trailer, that image is very clearly the back. Just look at the way it's moving.
-
You're looking at the rear of that TIE fighter here. The windows on the top hatch give it away. Plus we got several shots of the new ships from different angles in the new trailer.

(2015) May The 4th Be With You Offers - Discussion thread!

Do the promos apply to the AU shop? Also is there any indication of the availability of the Yularen figure, will it be hard to get for a good price after MTF? -

el_jugador, I think lego calls what we consider to be "bluish gray" the colour "stone gray".
-
I know. It makes absolutely no sense to me. A CC playset would fly off the shelves. People have been looking at the DS for nearly 8 years now, it doesn't add up that they would make a rehash immediately, even if it has been a huge cash cow.

Differently colored A-wings (sort of based on McQuarrie concept art)
atlas replied to Raskolnikov's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Nicely done! I'm in the middle of making a blue A-wing at the moment too, based off Jerac's excellent MOC. It isn't the prototype version though, just a regular canon one in blue livery. It's only half done and it already looks amazing, Jerac really is an incredibly skilled builder. -

Mike, you are my hero. This is incredibly useful!! -
I have to say, you really made the most of all of the space in your cockpit. Really well done there in particular.

It seems pretty clear to me that Lego is done with TCW. They can't really accommodate the production of new sets from material half a decade old, whilst a new animated show is running, 6 new films are going to be released in the next 6 years, and a heap of canon content in other media. Maybe this is just my personal bias exaggerating this because I absolutely hate the way Lego reproduced the designs from the show, particularly on head prints and the clone designs.
-
?????!?!?! To my mind that set is one of the worst offenders when it comes to to minifig scaling. AT-RTs are no where near 8 metres tall. Just look at the loading screen from Star Wars Commander to get a clear reference. 75043 and 75090 are also very poor in this respect.
-
doubt it. There are almost guaranteed to be changes to the ship in some capacity that we are shown in the film, the radar dish is just one of them.
-
Wow, this last batch is really great. Koyi and Han are the standouts for me, that trenchcoat works very well.
-
I'm imagining LAAT/c style, carried underneath and dropped off. Pretty practical really, get to a DZ and drop a an AT-ST into a forest or a swamp, that kind of thing.
-
Doubtful. There is a huge shroud of secrecy over the film, I think Disney will pretty much dictate the release to lego.
