  1. I would have LOVED to have this figure. *sigh* I thought LEGO was done with this exclusive garbage. It's a decent looking figure, too bad I'll never have a chance to own it.
  2. I love this set! The only thing that would've put it over the top is if it had included Ronin instead of Black Widow. At least they finally improved her batons, that build looks so much better. Rescue is perfect and QR Hulk looks great with the Nano gauntlet. Hopefully we'll still get a set with Ronin and maybe a purple suited Hulk or one with a lab coat print and glasses. The builds are actually kinda interesting to me, they could've been a lot worse. I didn't get and don't plan to get the quinjet so it's nice to have another way to get those nice Chitauri figs. The Chitauri chariot build is spot on and the beast like flyer looks like a tiny version of the Leviathian which is kinda funny but it's a nice build. I would love it if we eventually got a large Leviathan build in a set someday.
  3. The sets look great! Despite disappointment the Horntail set is still my favorite and the dragon looks good and is nicely poseable. The head still should have been something better and the fat legs look bad but those are my 2 major complaints. Of course I would've loved it if they recolored Smaug's wings for it too but I understand if they couldn't.
  4. Especially now that a Ghost Rider series is coming to hulu next year as well as a Helstron series, I really really want a set featuring the Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider and the Hellcharger! Daimon Helstrom, Blade, and Daredevil are also must-haves for me. Hopefully we'll get more comic/random Marvel sets now that the MCU will likely wind down a little bit with probably one or 2 sets for each new movie instead of entire waves until we laern more about the next big phase.
  5. So Marvel just announced a Ghost Rider series on hulu starring Gabriel Luna reprising the role of Robbie Reyes and a Helstrom series featuring Daimon and "Ana" Helstrom. I'm super freaking excited!!! While we have yet to get sets based on any tv properties I am excited by the prospect of potentially getting these characters in more general comic based marvel sets. I do hope that now it seems the MCU films might be slowing down a bit we might get more comic sets again.
  6. The patronus set, Horntail set and Hagrid's hut set are all must haves! The Hungarian Horntail is sadly somewhat disappointing. I don't mind the colord but it needed more spikes, his thighs are too thick and not in a good way and that head... I get what they were going for but it's a bird head. It was meant to be a bird head and just doesn't work for a dragon, especially since it doesn't have any teeth! Hopefully it'll look better in person as I do like the rest of its build well enough and it's fairly poseable. The expecto patronum set is pure perfection and Hagrid's hut looks great, especially that beautiful new Buckbeak! I'm still not happy about the lack of Fang but what we do get is pretty nice. The other sets don't really interest me much. Like Hagrid, I'm all about the creatures!
  7. I'm sure we'll get one for tRoS like we have for every previous Disney SW film.
  8. The only thing about it that seems to be exclusive sadly is the printed(at least I certainly hope they're prints)2x4 tile with the 20th anniversary logo and the windscreen of the AT-AT. They really dropped the ball with the lack of a figure, heck I would've settled for a non exclusive trooper or something at least. The more I look at it the more fat the AT-AT looks, I really have no idea why it was designed like that, plus there's no reason for the sides of it to be curved. It's a very angular, skinny design and isn't that hard to pull off in LEGO.
  9. The Hoth diorama is neat but the lack of an exclusive fig is really disappointing considering every other gwp like this has had one so far. I'll still get it if it's convenient but I'm not looking forward to it as much as the Avengers tower gwp.
  10. Based on what little has been rumored, the game sounds pretty insane! I can't wait to get some official info. Chances are we'll find out more at SDCC in July. It'll be a tough wait...
  11. I would like to see some more comic based sets if for no other reason than I think that's the only way we would ever get a set with the Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider and his Hellcharger.
  12. I too want to see a remake of the complete saga. I was really hoping for a new LEGO Star Wars game reveal during Celebration considering it's the 20th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars at least we know one is in the works. Hopefully we get more details soon. Chances are it's probably going to be a game covering TLJ and TRoS maybe even RO and Solo.
  13. There are also rumors a Hulk and She Hulk series is in the works as well which would be pretty sweet. I do hope we get some sets that represent some of these series but I don't expect more than 1 set per show.
  14. I like the build of the jet and the drones but there just isn't enough there to really be worth the price. If the Spidey suit was the Ditko one that might have been just enough for me to consider it.
  15. I think it looks pretty good for what it is. I don't have any of the previous ones so this will be a good opportunity.
  16. This piece looks pretty fitting to me minus the printing: 26079pb01
  17. The thing about that is there are plenty of existing pieces that would work just fine for it. Heck, 2 Urak hai swords attached in the middle with a lightsaber hilt would look just about right if not a bit small. Who knows, maybe he'll use a hammer in one scene or we may find out his weapon can transform like Cull Obsidian's could. I managed to pick up the War Machine Buster at Target for 20% off with an additional 5% thanks to the red card. I think the only Endgame set not on sale is Cap's bike which isn't a big deal. Honestly if I hadn't just bought the 20th anniversary Slave I the other day I likely would have grabbed the Hall of Armor too. The WM Buster is a great set, I love it! I've always liked War Machine's armors more than Ironman's tbh. This one looks excellent next to the IW Hulkbuster. My only real gripes are the limited arm articulation and the really poor design for the flick fire missile pod. The gatling gun doesn't look so bad if you keep the underside of it covering the shoulder. I'm going to be pretty disappointed though if this armor doesn't show up in the movie-- hopefully with a much better name.
  18. Which makes it even more curious that they gave him a hammer in the compound set considering all other toy companies have given him the double-sided sword that we see in the trailer.
  19. I picked up the 20th anniversary Slave I yesterday. It's a fantastic set, super solid with a surprising amount of heft to it. The handle is such a great addition even if it splits the top rear thruster in half. My only issues with it are really minor like the laser canons and wings not moving in tandem, the control panel being too far away from the pilot seat, and the transition between the brick built area on the fuselage and the angled plate section could've been a bit smoother but overall it's an amazing set. Nothing will ever compete with the UCS but this set definitely gives it a run for its money. I can definitely see myself picking it up and swooshing it from time to time. I just hope they finally give us an updated version of Jango Fett's Slave 1 someday. I definitely think they could do enough different with it to make it worth it, especially in terms of play features and possible minifig selection, especially if they finally included a Kaminoan!
  20. These completely make up for the disappointing Endgame sets, just wow! Amazing selection of figures, the only real disappointment is the normal Spidey suit instead of the black and red one but I'm amazed we got MJ and Happy Hogan. I'm also very glad Mysterio is in every set and not just the most expensive one. Honestly having more than one is useful for conveying his illusions. I really like the molten man battle, that is an absolute must buy and the figures are excellent minus the random firefighter. The bridge battle has a fantastic build and I love that we finally get Peter Parker. I really like that he has is mask sitting on top of his head, that's an excellent use of the beenie piece to convey his mask being pulled up. Hydro-man looks good and I'm glad to get confirmation that it's actually Hydro-man (same with Molten-man) rather than just a nameless elemental. I'm a little disappointed we don't get all the elementals though. The Stark jet set looks great but I have a feeling the artwork is misleading as I guarantee Mysterio is controlling the drones to attack the jet and the box art is a misdirect to avoid spoiling the "twist" that Mysterio will be the bad guy(what a shock lol). Too bad they couldn't have included another elemental here and maybe Maria Hill as well. Molten-man Battle and Hydro-man Attack are must-haves! Stark Jet and Drone Attack --while nice-- doesn't hold a ton of appeal for me nor does it have a very good fig selection save for Nick Fury. It's nice to get Happy but he's inaccurate and not super appealing to me.
  21. The compound set is growing on me but it's still disappointing. I might pick it up at some point but it won't be right away. Heck I might wait for Christmas with that one. The Quinjet is an excellent build with plenty of space on the inside like the first Milano. I'm tempted to get it but we'll see how my LEGO budget looks after I pick up a few 20th Anniversary Star Wars sets and the FFH sets are announced. Cap's bike is actually a really nice build but as always with brick built motorcycles it's gigantic. The Ghost Rider set could get away with it honestly because the design of the bike appears to be heavily inspired by the design from the Heaven's on Fire comic arc where both Johnny Blaze's and Danny Ketch's bikes were giant messes of twisted metal(which I loved!). Cap's bike here though appears to be a modified Harley Davidson so it's obnoxiously over-sized. The War Machine Buster is the only must-have for me, I'll be getting Cap's bike too though because it's such a small cheap set and it finally gives us Cap's helmet.
  22. The hall of armor looks great, it'll be an easy buy. Igor just looks worse and worse the more I look at it. I really like how modular the set is, that was smart of them to do that. I was surprised to see those cheese slope vent pieces are actually chromed and not pearl silver.
  23. Yup, this set is awesome! Hands down my favorite of the wave. I'm going to be really disappointed if War Machine doesn't get his own buster armor in the film but I'm confident he will. I really like the overall shaping and part usage. The shoulder weapons could've looked a little better but there's a LOT of playability with this thing. It's fitting that War Machine gets so many things to shoot. I also like that there's a spot to store extra ammo for the stud launchers I feel like more sets should have that for the sake of play. The figures are decent though I still say War Machine really needs an armor piece but Antman's new helmet looks great. The Outriders are "eh".
  24. Don't forget about Shang Chi, they just got a director lined up for it (of all the characters to get their own movie why him?)
  25. Me too! It's a fantastic figure. Second only to Silver Centurion.
