  1. Yup, loving the drill (especially the drill bit which looks appropriately savage). Great to see you back, now just stick around.
  2. It is my scifi version of the cart they use when NFL players are carted off.
  3. Location: F03 Forring Tags: Land Vehicle, Space Vehicle, Civil Building Previously... // PERSONAL DIARY // The Aeolus recovered the Octan ship and were able to retrieve the pilot. Sadly the pilot wasn't in great shape. Physically he seemed relatively ok, but mentally he was struggling. As an executive of Octan I was quite concerned with his health and safety, Dr. Allison seemed interested in him as a test case. Based on logs we determined his name was Joel Zimmerman, however, all he would say is "Can you hear the screams?" The Farr-tes said it seemed likely that he had developed a minor case of Spontaneous Space Madness. They said that with some sedation and rest he would most likely be fine. Luckily they had human medical knowledge and a facility on planet that could help him. We have already been fortunate to have an alliance with them! Extra Pics:
  4. I started a bit late (week 2 or 3?), but since then I haven't missed a single week. Ideally want to him 52 straight weeks of builds (at 42 right now) before even thinking of taking a week off. Been a lot of fun and I've learned a lot from everyone. Looking forward to AG2! Oh, and I'm now the 4th highest earner in the game!
  5. All my money to Bob!
  6. Very well done outside, the inside was quite a surprise. Not sure I'd love having a space toilet right behind me while piloting though ...
  7. Octan's fleet is staying where it is also.
  8. Great A-Wing and I like the angled rear vertical wings. The underside is very impressive and detailed too! The shot without the A-Wing really shows off the great hangar!
  9. I see it is SW week, must be in honor of May the 4th? Love the MAT-MAT. Wish I had some of those mixel joints... great explosion effect on Echo Octan Base.
  10. Love the blue hull! The lighting really does add a nice atmosphere also. The included minifigs really help deliver the sense of scale.
  11. I wish to donate my 100 credits to the Bobster.
  12. So it looks like I got a score for my Cat A: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=130514 -- but it looks like it isn't on the timeline and that is why I have 50 instead of 100 credits.
  13. Location: F03 Forring Tags: Land Vehicle, Space Vehicle, Civil Building, Science Previously... // PERSONAL DIARY // We were taken to the Farr-tes main engineering research facility on Forring to see some of their newest projects. It was an exciting time as we were given complete access and were able to ask any questions we wanted. The Farr-tes are a very open and forthcoming people, they really don't hold back. Dr. Allison was looking at one of their new energy producing units that is still under construction. She seemed very impressed and I could see from the twinkle in her eye that many new ideas were forming. I can't wait to hear what she came up with. She had already seen their mobile graviton detection "cart". It was on a track that lead to an isolation room which allowed for the sensitive equipment to more finely tune into detecting the particles. I was being given a chance to look over their magnetic impulse engines used primarily in smaller vehicles. Because they were non-polluting it meant that they were best suited for their underground existence. The power output was strong, but the main draw was the instant high-torque. Even the waste heat was fairly small and easily managed. One issue they were trying to overcome was that the units did malfunction sometimes and end up in a runaway situation. The good news is that the characteristic hum would suddenly get very quiet, so you knew it could get deadly if they went silent. Sadly our visit was cut short as we were notified that the Farr-tes Regional Transport Ship Aeolus had informed the local Farr-tes naval control that a distress signal had been detected from an Octan ship. We were given access to a communication device and the message was the standard Octan distress signal for our smaller ships: "Greetings, this automated message is from Octansoft on behalf of Octan Pilot. It appears there has been a problem and currently there are zero pilots able to command the ship. We are requesting your assistance in rendering aid. Thank you and have an Octan day!" Extra Pics:
  14. Congrats everyone. Lots of great entries. Extra congrats to StarHawk for his clean sweep!
  15. Beautiful and truly epic. Combines two of my loves: Lego and WWII. Like you have to tell kids: there is always going to be someone bigger, faster or better. It doesn't take away from your accomplishment.
  16. Lovely MOC, the mansion is very reminiscent of ones I've seen throughout my travels in the Caribbean. The vibrant colors mixed with the white detailing ... would not look out of place in the Bahamas one bit.
  17. Love the barn and silo. The POLEs were my favorite part, clever scale change.
  18. I know I've read here about issues with tracking when you order online via Pick a Brick and I've experience this myself many times. Most recently every time I put in the tracking number it just said it couldn't find it. So I reached out to Lego Customer Support to just double check all was well and also give some feedback about the DHL site being spotty at best (I've had it so that you put in the info and it says couldn't find it, hit refresh and magically it works). So the nice person wrote back and said they would pass on the feedback but also they gave me a different DHL site that seems to work: http://webtrack.dhlglobalmail.com/ Also they helpfully pointed out that once it gets to the USPS you can use your same tracking number at the USPS site (which has plenty of issues itself!). But that wasn't something I had really considered before either. So I thought it best to share this with others who may be frustrated at the terrible DHL tracking website that Lego uses in their emails.
  19. Stunning. It was shocking with each picture to see more and more. The exterior alone was in a class by itself, but the interior was mind blowing. To see the TIEs hanging there... I'm just in awe.
  20. Love the busy, crowded feel. Some nice scene within a scene stuff happening with the Stormies capturing someone. The monotone nature of the MOC means that the splashes of color really stand out, especially on some of the minifigs.
  21. Is there a chance the track could bend? Great microcity block and I love the crane. Most typically people only show completed cities, but most modern cities always have those cranes present so it wouldn't be a surprise for that to be the case in the future also.
  22. Seems appropriately Mantis! I like how you have the house broken up into bedroom/workstation/living room. A very well thought out interior with a nice exterior too. Forgot to mention that I like the stuff up on the roof like the A/C unit and stuff.
  23. The food stand with the blender is really great. The whole thing has a kinda 80s scifi vibe to it. Very nice!
  24. Hombre's car is awesome and I love that his garage is nicely sized. The interior is suitably Hombre too. Nice that his pet got featured. Only thing missing is the view of the hall with the yellow/orange/white/green items. Can't figure out what those are.
