I love Gene Hackman, but really that door is what caught my attention. I am completely going to steel that bar in the door technique. I love it! Reminds me of so many scifi movies!!!! The scripting was 10/10 as always. Though I have to admit my disdain for the Angry Birds line caused me to overlook how you made the good Dr.

Whoa, it is all so amazing. I like the consistent look and feel of all the various vehicles and the drilling machine really stands out. I need to include more technic gearing when I do drill bits... The one thing that kind of stands out as not really fitting, for me, is the skull on the fighter. It seems a bit out of place, especially given the "Sprite" name. I adore the rest of the fighter, just that one little bit nags at me.

I never have to worry as I break everything down after pics are taken. I simply don't have a big enough collection to keep stuff built.

Wow, that amount of detail at such a small scale is an impressive feat. That group shot with all the fleet is coming along very nicely! -
Haha, definitely a funny scene. The sheep won't fall for the old apple beyond the fence trick again!

What a beautiful rendition of a very well known building. I'm amazed at both how smooth it is, but also how much architectural detailing came through!

Location: H06 Farmolis Tags: Land Vehicle Previously... // PERSONAL DIARY // It had been a very busy time of late and I wanted to get out a bit and just relax and have some fun. It was exciting that we'd recently discovered Awesomnium Alloy, but I just wanted to turn off my brain for a little bit. Luckily one of the new prototype racecars was available (helps being an exec!). So I went out to one of our testing facilities outside Farmolis City and took it out for a spin. The robo-engineer gave me the quick overview and checked that all systems were nominal before I headed out. It was great getting to really let it loose and have some time alone. It wasn't that long ago that I wouldn't have been as comfortable in such a high powered vehicle, but I think I've grown a lot since joining Octan! Extra Pics: I even put some lights underneath! See all the photos I took!

Amazing in both scale and detailing. Each part is so full of things to look at I keep finding more little parts to appreciate every time I look. Fantastic!

Whoa, that mech is incredible. The agility is really amazing. I can't believe how pose-able it is! I also appreciate that you resisted the urge to give it tons of weapons. I like that it is more of a utilitarian mech than a war machine.

Really nice use of the gold and green, has a great Caribbean vibe to it. The front entryway has a bit of art deco flair which is nice. Nice interior detailing with the plants and pen/ink. Lots to enjoy visually.- 11 replies

I love the interior and I feel like I can smell the pizza, very reminiscent of quite a few places I've been to. The statue up top was really cool and a nice little detail. 2 suggestions: 1. Maybe on the top roof add a fan or AC unit? It just seems a bit bland. 2. Next to the front door I would make those orange pillars brown to match the ones on the top floor. They just seem to stick out a bit instead of the brown used most of the rest of the way around. Overall a really nice build with some great detailing.

Took me a while to figure out where I could work it in without being too blatant, but I finally got it in there.

Location: H06 Farmolis Tags: Civil Building Previously... // PERSONAL DIARY // I wanted to show our guest Raylan a good time before he had to depart back for Mantis space. They needed him to return to work and though I was sad to see him go, I understood that work has to be a priority. I thought we could have a big sendoff though, so I booked the reception center at the Academy of Sciences and we invited lots of people from Farmolis and beyond. Our friends from the Farr-tes even managed to make their way to the party! Despite the Octan desire to largely have reliable robots perform mundane tasks, I wanted to make sure this party was extra special so I actually had real human waiters! It certainly seemed like everyone had a great time and Raylan especially was grateful for our warm farewell. Extra Pics: ** Happy 1 year of build weeks to AG!!! ** ** I wanted to make this for weeks and finally found the time. The style aesthetic is definitely me and it is very clean. Plus I wanted to have a party to celebrate. ** ** Oh and those SoNE players might recognize a cameo from my player in that game ** I took a lot of pics this week, for all of them you can hit my Flickr stream: https://www.flickr.c...2136@N04/9h6PB3

I like the roadster, has a bit of original Mad Max feel to it but in Octan colors. Nice use of the wigs in the landscape too! Great to see you back, apparently you shaved while away.

Love the ship and the use of the upside-down boat hull. Very creative! Nice to see Dr. Long back in the mix! If you use your imagination that glass is the downward thrust of the lifting engines.
-
I like the biplane, looks good in our colors! The helmet with extra goggles is pretty funny given the huge forehead and his other pair of glasses/goggles. Can never be too safe though, right?
-
Ok, not sure what to do. Can we count it as Farmolis?

All that sweet, sweet moolah to Bob!

Yay, welcome. Glad to have another builder!

Location: H06 Farmolis Tags: Land Vehicle Previously... // PERSONAL DIARY // Unfortunately, I had to depart Farmolis for The Fascini Cluster an asteroid orbiting Farmolis. However, I left Raylan with Dr. Allison and they decided to go into downtown Farmolis City and enjoy some of the nightlife. We are very lucky to live in a time when people from all different groups can come together and enjoy a fun time out. I was glad that Dr. Allison could take him out for a fun night out so he wouldn't be bored by himself. Meanwhile I had headed out to inspect one of our latest research/monitoring stations on one of the larger asteroids in The Fascini Cluster orbiting Farmolis. I used one of the little service vehicles aboard the ship that took me out to the asteroid field to reach the location. It wasn't very big, but the information we obtain from stations like this one help us refine our Awesomnium location and collection process. And if there is one thing Dr. Long espouses it is efficiency! **Not trying to get too political, just figured I could work in something from real world into my storyline ** Extra Pics:

Good and valid point. Meant to do that and forgot. My problem is that I'll get to building and think "You know what I need to do ..." and then I decide I'll do it in just a minute after I finish this one section and then sometime after taking pics or posting I realize "Hey I never went back and ..." I'd say about 1/3 of my builds end up that way.
