  1. I like the guitar on the sign post
  2. Congratulations to the other winners. And thank you for organising this each year!
  3. The ground split asunder. And where she walked, death followed.
  4. I went to Santa Clara, only to find the bottom two rows of PAB completely empty. Apparently people with their boxes cleared them out after Christmas, how dare they!
  5. Those magic erasers worked wonders on some heavily scuffed onion domes I bought second hand. They had black marks all over them that didn't come off with soap and water. A couple of buff of the sponge and they are good as new.
  6. That is beautiful! That first photo, looking up at it; the proportions and the lighting and the stonework. Really gorgeous. The arches alternated with the slopes for the machicolations make it for me.
  7. Lovely organization of such a small space, love the flow of the build and the detail on each side. I like the way you used those chrome gold dragon heads
  8. Skeleton made me laugh too, ty. :)
  9. Housework piles up proportionally to bricks piling up

      Lol! All too true...

  11. Well deserved, congratulations!
  12. That's really amusing :) And I love the detailing on the cellar.
  13. Ooh this sounds like so much fun! Edit: Found a partner thank you.
  14. Really iconic, it looks fantastic! I knew it as soon as I saw it. The trans on the eyes and that little smile are just perfect.
  15. Lets have some fun and games at the expanded Winter Village Market! Test your strength and see how far the meter turns. While the kids win that fish that you dread having to take home and keep alive! Have a snack to keep you warm, roasted chestnuts or soft pretzels are just the thing on this cold winter's day. Test of Strength. The swirly disc is connected through to the back of the tower by a stick so it can be spun to show how strong you are. http://www.flickr.com/photos/58807469@N07/11674045766/ Hit a duck or a fish to win! Closeup of the game It seems Larry has a second job. Get those roasted chestnuts off the grill and into the warming bin before bagging them for customers. Closeup of the grill Enlarged and additional photos can be seen on my Flickr Album. Thank you!
  16. I'm all done, but will have to wait for tomorrow morning for better photos. So I shall see you all in eight hours time. Its been a lot of fun this year especially realizing how much can happen inside a 16x16 space!
  17. I really like this but I don't think the train off the base is allowed?
  18. I really like this as a MOC. I was just thinking today how different the type of stalls/games are in the US compaired to European winter markets. So its really nice to get a taste of a Canadian perspective!
  19. Thank you! Thank you! I am so happy. I adore those female figs and the zombie and don't have any of them so it was the absolute best possible thing. Thank you for organizing it, and Merry Christmas to everyone.
  20. The left door, that isn't used in Café Corner is a mere $5-$6 dollars cheapest . But the right door... that's $20+
  21. This is beautiful and very reminiscent of an Alps chalet. I like that radiator and the sheep's eyes base for the candles.
  22. I break most of the MOC down after building or if my kids play with it, after it's survived few weeks. Sometimes I keep a part, I've kept a stagecoach from my western MOC and part if a dragon from another but mostly the piece get recycled. I do take a lot of photos during construction. Mostly because accidents happen. Twice I've had things knocked off the table! Or I change something and decide I don't like it as much as it was an hour before. I'll post odd pictures in my Flickr feed if someone asks hey how did you do this or that part. But generally those construction photos gather dust.
  23. Thank you very much.
  24. My kids and I are looking to motorise our first train. And I am buying the Power Function pieces separately, so creating a shopping list. My questions are these: The Horizon Express Kit has a 8887 Power Functions Transformer 10VDC in it. Does this plug into the rechargeable battery box? If this is its only function then I could recharge the batteries separately and cut the transformer off my shopping list? And what is the reasoning to go with the $50 rechargeable battery box and not the $13 non-rechargeable version? Thank you very much! Cara.
