wokajablocka replied to Darth_Legois's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Just reasd on bricksdownunder that Target is having a sale on. Hurray, it’s that time again – a Target 20% off LEGO® sale. Starting this Thursday 8 September and going until the 14th, Target has 20% off all LEGO® and LEGO® Games. They are also promoting the new Hero Factory and Heroica sets in their latest catalogue. Check out My link for full details. No word of Star Wars sets but all stock is 20% off. I would like to pick up the 2 new Spongebob sets but I havent seen them on the shelfs yet, but when they do hit the shelf they dont last long. Can anyone plaes confirm if they have seen the new Spongebob sets, thanks. -

What eles could they put in the background fighting around the SSD? This is still not conformation for me but could be good news. Surly it can only be days away now when we will see the first pics of the 2012 line. The suspence . -

Lego Spongebob Squarepants 2011 Discussion Thread
wokajablocka replied to buddy's topic in LEGO Licensed
I spoke to the Australian rep the other day and he told me there are no Chinese element factorys. The only things made in China for TLG is boxes and thats it from what I was told. Bullind and Mexico are the only element manufacturing facilities adn they ship their elements for other countirs for packaging. So for a leaked element form China is very possably fake. The flying Duchman sounds like a good set though. -
I love the smooth looking wings with awsome detailing on the inside frount. Nice solid looking MOC, would love to see it build Doc .

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
wokajablocka replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Im sure it got to do with the printing of elements. I notice the hollow studs and head when double sided faces started to appear. The machine needs to run a few diffrent colours and print on either side of the element, so to do this it need to know which way the element is facing. Inside the stud it has 3 little bars, this is how the machine knows which way the element is facing. Now to answer your question - Not sure. Maybe sets before the double sided faces appeared have a solid stud and after have the hollow? Hope this helps. -
If this is a consular ship, WHERE is the ambassador?

Nice little quick build to get the point across. Small simple build really get me in the mood to paly and put somthing to gether. I have a idea for the ESB community build so I might have to give it a go when it comes around. And when will be seeing your LDD Doctor? -
Thanks KielDaMan

7915 is not bad, much better than the first release IMO and the figs are awsome. The two figs are exculsive to this set and who dosent want the new pilot and a silver astrmech droid.

Im up for a Separatist flag ship, drop ship or command ship in system scale . -
Points taken fallenangel309. I will re state again . I love the way he had taken the scale down to 1:3 and still tryed to keep all the paly features, due to its size the play features are not very easy to use though. I just thought JackJonespaw had done a pritty good job at creating it at this scale and limited parts.

Awsome, Im downloading it now from brickforge. It sounds like a neat little program for keeping track of your lego collection. Ill let you know it it dose the job. Yeah this is awsome, just playing with it and learning how it works but it has nice features. Ive seen my moset expensive set 7662 Trade Federation MMT. This was supprising that this set is currently the most expensive set I own. I thought surly the 10212 Shuttle would be worth the most but and 10195 Dropship with AT-OT, 6210 Sail Barge are worh more as well. We will see how much the Shuttle goses for when its not avaliable any more. I have also notice that the 2nd edition Slave 1 has droped about half in price since the 2010 release of the 3rd edition. Re-release or remake sets de-value the other similar sets. This is why I dont really want them to make anoither Cloud City set. If they did it would need to be much diffrent to not away from the originally of the first release.

Hay Kim, can I have mine now please, thanks mate.

I was just more commenting more on the playability of the MOC compird to the 7778. 7778 connons moved and the radar dish moved and nothing else. If they where put in frount of kids Im sure kids would pick the MOC as there is more features and stuff to break of it. IMO 7778 look more accurite. Apart from the miss match scale this is a good little build.

Hay guys, I was wondering if there was anyone out there in the SW Lego universe that has a up to date price guide? I can go to bricklink and look at the average price sets and figs sell for and write them down but dont have the time. It would be nice to be able to refrence a guide so see what your collection is worth (brickset only dose RRP and not current price), both sets and figures. I would love this to see if purchases are worth it compired to their current value when buying second hand sets. Its also nice to put a real figure on your collection for insurance purposes. I know that Could City Boba Fett is the most expensive fig on the merket fetching up to $200 for 1 minifig alone. I would love to have a list of minifigs from most expensive to least to know which one to hang onto. If anyone has any guides, knows wehre to find them or would like to start one keep this thred going. Surly someone has done the hard work and put somthing like this together.

Look nice, much better than the MIDI scale Falcon released by TLG. I cant load the video for some reason but it looks like a better biuld and it has more play features. I try and change the cockpit window but cant think of anything that would fit in there. The frount looks a bit long as well, reminds me of this year Falcon release. Great job, would love to see more of this sort of scale and build happening.

Yeah $699 is a highway robbery. I'm going to try and get it in th US and get a friend to ship it to me if I can organise it.
-
Just picked up the Hoth base mainly for the minifigs and after the build still not evey impressed with it . My 10 year old son was not very excited about it but still had fun playing with it though. Also picked up the Ewok attack set but havent built it yet.
-
the model looks much better than the 2011 release. I love the magnet connection function for the racks, What ever happened to the Lego magnets? These where fun additions to the playability when they worked, like Jangos Slave 1 cargo pickup.
-
Another nice moodland scale build . I will look nice to see the second part added to the build, cant wait.
-
Great idea, I havent see this done befor. As usual we all fall short on peices when building and dont alway create what is in our heads. It would look better if R2's head was a bit more rounded.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
wokajablocka replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Im trying tink of WHY TLG is making Sebulba's pod again? Didnt we just get this this year? It dosent look USC so why? Its a nice pod but how many do we need seriously. The new x-wing is awsome as it can be made in to Red 5 or Red 6 similar the the previous x-wing release where you could make it Lukes Red 5 or Wedges Red 2 so you can start to make a fleet of x-wing to assault the Death Star. What the hell are you going to do with a fleet of Sebulba's pod racers? -
Making a living off trading Lego
wokajablocka replied to wokajablocka's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
At the moment Im trying to organise my parts and I might eventually start a BL store to also fund my hobby at the moment. If succesfull I will try to keep it going but from reading the interviews it will be a while until I could survive on it. It looks like it takes alot of time and effort to get it going and keep it going, O well I can only dream. Thanks for the input and im sure others will find this topic intersting. -
Hi I was wondering if any AFOL are making a living off buying and selling Lego? I have always wondered I it could be possable to have the dream job of buying and selling Lego for a living. I would love to quit my job and start traiding Lego, starting a blicklink store and living and braething Lego. I can only see a majority of Brickling store owners running a store on the side as a hobby but not making a living off it. If there anre anyone doing this I would like to hear your stoires on how you make my dream a reallity. Sorry if this should be in the genral discussion topic, if so can someone please move it for me, thanks.
