Awsome chunky ship . I like the light bricks used, very effective. That black light really lights up the trans green pars very well. Geat job and good luck in the contest.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
wokajablocka replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
My partner and wallet are not going to like to Aussie conversion. I'm a sucker and need to get all the sets I can aford and get my hands on. Anyone in the states want to accept my shippments and re-send to me in Australia. Im sure I could workout deals with free shipping and then post to Australia for way less that the retail for those larger sets plus giving the shipper a few bucks for handeling charges. Get a $220AU set for only $100 US, free shipping, low priority mail from the states around $40, pay handeling fees of $20-30 = save around $50 give or take. Thats a free Tie fighter or a driod escape and Geonosian cannon. -
Here one from me using my ESB community build. The joys of having no sense of smell in the Lego universe

Where can we easily see all the pics? Can a Mod set up the first page like the Star Wars 2012 thread or are we still waiting for the official pics? I like these sets and the more I look at them the more I'm liking them.

Florida beach 8ft tall Lego man . -
Ive up dated the scene . Could a Mod please change my title from 'save' to 'saves' if you have time.

Yeah this has become very nice . I missed the 2nd and 3rd atempt so I was very pleased with the final result. Good to see you take to constructive critasizm and use it to your advantage.

Nice MOC . You just need to say thats a bounty hunter ship from the Star Wars universe and no one would question your build. I live the smoothness of the snot and the patterns you've created. The figs are very original and white guy looks cold and ice and the other guy reminds me of the Kubaz spy, all he needs is a minifig arm for a snout.

I have wondered this before. If other EB members in other counties would let us post to their address and the EB member sending it on to us. It would be good for those hard to get sets or promotions but you would have to be carful of postage and make sure its not more that getting it post stright to you. But if I wanted some bargins from Amazon, they dont send to Australia so I could get it sent to the states and get someone to forward it on to me. If you got free shipping on the first postage im sure us in Autralia could save some money ( and pass on a little to the sender for handeling charges of course). I got my mate to buy the Battle of Endor for $100 when it cost us $220 here in australia, he bought it home with him and didnt even have to pay for postage .

This is not bad for a first attempt but I think you could get a better overall shape of the top. You have a lovely model to refrence. Yes I agree with Mr Man, you could get a bit more detailing on the legs as well. Maybe some SNOT simialr to the battle of endor AT-ST and small dishes on the leg joints but I know your parts are somthing to consider when MOCing.

If I look closley at all my minifigs alot of them have imperfections on the torso and head prints. I just put this down to the genreal quallity from Lego. I do get some figs with perfect printing and others ar far from perfect prints. Im sure its just down to luck if you get really good prints on all your figs. -
Nice mini vehicles. The AT-AT looks pritty accurite and the T-47's are cute. I also love the mini cannaons and radars.

Still looking for the Star Wars Naboo Starfighter retailer confirmation. -
Nice smooth Wampa cave Walt, and great blue lighting. Looks cold in there. Hollander I do see one stud in the bottom left of the second pic .

I just finished this off last night after around 15 hours over 4 days and its a very nice set. Im from Australia and bought it when it was first released a few months back @ Big W and when I opened the box my instructions and sticker where in a plastic bag with a cardboard backing to keep them flat (thank you Lego) but I only received silver lightsaber hilts not the chrome ones like in the review. I won on the intructions and sticker but lost out on the chrome hilts . Yes this set would be very hard to quicky take down and store. I also noticed the diffrent shades of white on the elements. I took it to work to display and everyone was drooling over it for 10 mins . Perple are still comming in a standing around it with their jaws on the ground with astonishment.

Community Build: SW Episode V - Empire Strikes Back
wokajablocka replied to ACPin's topic in LEGO Star Wars
You could always re-do my sceen. I would have like to put a micro scale hoth hagger doors or a probe droid looking over a mound of snow (just as cannon), but there is not much eles you could do with it but I'm sure someone out there can prove me wrong. I know mines not much and only took me about an hour (including looking for parts) but I just wanted to contribute. Its an iconic sceen form Hoth that I havent seen MOCed befor so I wanted to re-create it in Lego form. Im not sure if it would offend anyone eles but I dont mind seeing diffrent peoples randitions of the same sceen. Virety is the spice of life though. -
Nice LDD Gunship, I think it looks mad. Nice and smooth, double speeder bikes and side turrets witch i was dissapointed that they removed on Legos 2nd release of the gunship. Yeah Doc it dose look a little tall, but the over all proportions are not that bad.

Very nice mod to the shark legostein. That great for some variation when doing a underwater MOC's. Im sure people are rushing off to part this out and replace thier regular sharks for underwater month.
-
I could see myself making a few dino riders MOC's. I alrady do it for my son with the Dino Attack sets. I cant wait to get all of these sets.
-
I think this is a great idea, expecially for the collectable minifigs. Sure its nice to feel for what your after but somtimes its nice to get a random suprise as well. I loved these as a kid and im sure if they where released in Australia I would find it hard to walk past one with a few spair dollars in my pocket.

Man I dont think they will around for long enough for them to go on sale. I find most of the permotional Lego stuff sells pritty quickly . It would be good if all retailers stocked items like this so we can get our hands on them easier and cheaper. Also read on FBT.set that the 7877 Naboo starfighter will is a Target exclusive in the US. Not sure Australian Target stores? I didn't see any when I was there on the weekend. Still waiting for someone to confirm this set. -

Dose anyone know yet where to get the 7877 Naboo Starfighter? Maybe its a Toy World exclusive as this is about the only store I havent gone to and their location is like 45 mins drive away. -

That is random, I can understand finding it on the street, park, car park, school etc but at a gym? What was the person doing... letting his Orc minifig watch them as they worked out?
