I have just emialed the help on flicker. This is what my privacy settings are saying at the top: Who can access your original image files? No one (because you have a free account). I check the setting to anyone (recommended) but it dont work

Like Cloud city, everyone wants it but could you imagin if they re-released this set the same as the original release. This would bring down the price strongly of the origianl set and render it pritty much worthless. As the set stands now its one of the most expensive SW sets avaliable for the amount of parts that you get. But I would love a new version of CC but now a re-release to conserve the high price of this set. Ive read that people where picking this up @ Target on clearance for $50, nice little investment. The CC set was not rare when released but people fell in love with the printed Boba and now its become a collector set. All other minifigs (some exculsive) are not that expensive to buy. It has a few rare elemnts but nothing too special so it become desirable way after it was not avaliable any more. Now days sets seem to be high priced even if you still can get them, people are putting the rare lable on them.

Yeah thats the one, you should check the movies out. BTW the second movie (Aliens) is by far the best of the four movies. They have a few pritty cool looking vehicles to MOC as well. Then if you enjoy them you can move into the AVP (Alien vs Predator) series. You must have seen one the best Arnold Schwarzenegger moves Predator?...Anyway I checked my Flicker account and it is set to let everyone see my pics. I will have to go over my account again and check it out. Thats good as I dindt want to fork out the $24.95 for the the year.

Thanks for the link Doc. Surly you have see the Alien movies? Its great viewing if your into Si-Fi. Ill see if I can put up a refrence pic for you. My Filcker account is only a free account so thats why I people cant view them. I will just use brickshelf in the futrue untill I have more pics to view on Flicker and get a full account. Ill make some changes and repost in a few days.

Hay all, I hope this is the right place to put this. This is my first WIP MOC of the Queen Alien. My son wanted me to build a queeen alien for his short Lego movie he wants to make. I want to replace all coloured elements to black when Im pritty happy (MOCers are never happy with their final product)with the build. Its somtimes hard when you have limited elements buts the fun in trying to build models that look accurite. Any comments are welcome. http://www.flickr.com/photos/wokajablocka/ Try this. Im having problem deeplinking my pics from flicker. When I add the image from fliker i get this error message: You are not allowed to use that image extention on this board. This should work now I have already changed and added few parts like a black hose around rear of body, minifig hands on a bar for the backbone and found some slopes with no stickers. Id hope that it would be able to fit a minifig head in its mouth. Its got to be large, very large. Id say it would have to be at least 2 - 3 times bigger than the wamper.

I think Oky Wan Kenobi has summed it up. This is where im putting all my money for a bet. I want a rancor more that anything. I know the Rancor could come up in a felucia EU or CW set but so many colourful plants would be hard for TLG to produce.

As we can see from most set re-desingsns is that it works. TLG ususlly makes inmprovemnts on existing vehicles which makes them desirable to buy even if you own the previous version. This is how they can keep the licence alive, as long as they do make them better. Thow in some new fig designd and everyone is happy.

I havent seen this nor did I get one with any of my new sets. Nice little bonus. I also noticed on the Comic Con minifig poster that was given out was missing old Obi from the faclon set. The young Obi form the pod racers set was there so it was not a compleate minifig list.

A what? Is there a Tie that can do this? I must have over looked while watching the movies or is one of those expanded univers vehicles?

Can we please stay on target and discuss the pictures and rumors and not just adding to the post about what you hoping for in the 2012 lineup. Too much crap to read through. If its a legitimate rumor lets hear it but dont speculate.

What might have worked well is if you had a background, either a printed or brick built or even just a dark colour peice of cardboard. Just a thought.

I like it, and love haw you have MOCed your own Flash Speeder. The plants give it a nice feel.

WOW, what a gerat little bike. It reminds me of Cad Blain's speeder and has a very SW feel to it.

Awsome job, this is a sceen I have always wanted to do. Love the med bay, and command centre. As I commented before I would like to see foot prints in the snow from the troopers and AT-AT if you have enough white elements. This would be the one of the best Hoth base I have seen.

Im interested to see what set we get Queen Amidala. I hope they dont throw her in to a random set like TLG is know to do a bit these days. Theed Palace would be nice with some pop out windows so that they can climb up the wall? A door that can lock out the droids? I cant really think of any other play freatures they would include. Maybe it will be like the new Hoth base - not so accurite to the movie? But I can still see her in some random set though.

They have already done this set if your interested in building it. You can get the instruction after playing search for R2 game on the star wars web site. After each level they will give you access to 1 of 4 instructions for this set. You can build it from parts from: 7748 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid, 7749 Echo Base, 8016 Hyena Droid Bomber, 8017 Darth Vader's TIE Fighter, 8018 Armored Assault Tank (AAT), 8019 Republic Attack Shuttle, 8036 Separtist Shuttle, 8037 Anakin's Y-Wing Starfighter, 8038 The Battle of Endor, 8039 Venator-class Repbublic Attack Cruiser. If you dont want to pull down your kits you can search for Malevolence part list on bricklink and order all the parts. I have done this method and it cost me with postage about $85. It would be nice if TLG released this set or re-done it as an official release with minifigs.

Nice, I like the use of the camera angles, taking shots through the trees. Great work Also like the Stormie traped in the spiders web, nice touch.

Great little review. I love this set, great selection of figs and a very iconic vehicle from the origianl movie. The stormie with palderon is good but I would have like to see the orange version over the black. Even though there where Stormies with black the orange is looks much better IMO. Sure some one can tell us the diffrence in rank between black and orange?

WOW 2012 news (rubbing hands together) . Love the new figs, new figs are always welcome. Nice to see a face on the Tie pilot. Cant wait to see detailed pics of Amidala, she is looking great. R5 head is great, i want to see a white an red version come out. Not a big fan of the new Tie cockpit window, dont like the rounded look. Maybe it TLG made a window that was only 1/4 circle not half circle it may have worked better. It really should have the same angle curve as the rest of the ships body. The ships body should be pritty much a round ball, and not have the window sticking out of the body. Anyway the new wings are a great design, and hopefully the will be a bit stronger that preivious designs.
