Ill agree on the heads. I think the new head looks too cartoon-ish and the old one looks way more evil, but the yellow eyes look good under the shadow of the hood. IMO its not a bad set though and should be bought if you dont already own a Darth Maul Minifig or any of the others.

LDD MOC - Imperial Troops have entered the base!
wokajablocka replied to Kaitan's topic in LEGO Star Wars
They are looking awsome, you really taken Mood's scale and worked well with it. Only thing I can poke at is the helmet as well, needs to be a bit longer. IMO it looks more like a scout trooper helmet but still looks great. -
Mad, you invented amother scale Mood, very nice. I can see more of these micro figs being created. Great job, im sure like your moodland scale they will only get better as you refine your techneques.

Piece of meat
wokajablocka replied to Aveal the black sheep's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Im agreeing with legobodgers it looks like the texture on the current turkey peices and I like it. I havent used sculpey before but you can sand it if you want and if you can mix diffrent colours together to get the desired colour without painting. -
Well APCin I thought I was looking at a sceenshot from ESB, youve done a great job on making the scene look like Dagobah. Love the lighting and dirt.

Im liking the redsign on the cockpit. The origianl colours make it looks more movie accurite as well.

I put my vote in for the Endor set but my son loves the sith infiltrator. Maybe he just really likes Darth Maul but the ship is swoshable and has a few play features.

New Lego 10223 Kingdoms Joust Exclusive
wokajablocka replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This is awsome. This will make a nice addition to my Kingdoms Theme. I love every thing about this set. -
Im liking this more now that Ive seen better pics. I love the veriation in dinos, orginally I thought we would only get T-rex, Triceritops, petradon, and rapter. The Coelophysis looks great and do I see another smaller dino again in the base set? Is it just me or dose the Coelophysis in the base set look twice as small as the one in the small set? I tought the it was just a brown raptor but it has no hooked claw. Rapters look great with their neck shape and claw. Coelophysis looks very similar to the Dino attack mutant lizards, but have a long slim looking neck. Im really looking froward to building these with my son next year (if I can afford it after the Star WArs line cleans out my wallet ).

Awsome ship, I love the centre section around the prisoner hold. Also you have done a great job on San’Piper's cross bow. Im sure you could use somthing similar to moc Chewbacca's bow caster. Very nicly done

Nice, overall it looks a little small but 100 times better than Legos version. Keep up the building Masked.

Awsome now we have an alternate 3 builds for this set. Outstanding Legostein, I wonder if we will se a forth build to beat Lego at their own game.
-
Nice original build, hands, hands so many hands. Ill give you an extra pair of hands on this one.

I did build my Chrome Dath Vader in the bag and man, that f*cking cape was so frustrating to get on. Just like to Doc said one side comes off when you try to put the other on. Has anyone tryed to build a collectable minifig in the bag. Maybe we need video evedence.

Thanks guys for your helpful input, I was just wondering about this topic after reading people saying 'Chineese plasic'. Im not bothered by the chineese plastic as long as it passes TLG quallity control, alot of good quality products are now being produced in China these days. Im sure the DK elements are slightly better quallity than the China elements but im happy with the quallity on the collectable minifigs. @ Pennas2000 thanks fore the video link, its was very intersting indead.

This is a very nice MOC of the T-16. great job covering the holes, looks compact, solid and very swooshable.

Hi guys, I was wondering where Lego elements are made? I spoke to the Australian rep(yes there is only one here)a few months ago and he told me there are no Chineese Lego factories that produce PBS Lego elements. He told me that only Bullin and Mexico are producers of elemements, they then send to packaging facilities. He aslo said the Chineese factorys only make pagaging material and then the send them to other factories like in the US where the package sets. I keep reading comments like 'its chinese plasic, or china PBS'. Does anyone know if they do make some elements in China like the pens and other premotional stuff. Someone commented that the young Han fig in the Padawan Menace is chineese plastic, is this true? Can anyone with some credability set me straght on this topic, thanks. Sorry if this has already been talked about, I tryed to searching for it but found nothing.

Thats a good price, the best I have forund is around $21 from the uk shiped free to Australia. Im going to get this book but like the last one I think it will have a few gaps in the information but us Lwgo SW fans can easily fill in them in like the R2 fig. It also interesting that it is smaller than the first DK release. I wonder if they will all be small like that?

how much time do you spend on LEGO?
wokajablocka replied to happymark's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If im not busy with home life Ill spend an hour or 2 building and sorting. On the weekend I can sort and build for 6-8 hours or more (was up to 3am building on Friday night) if noe bussy with hose cleaning or mowing lawns. Someties I wont touch it for a week or so just depends if the boss is on my back. I also like to buy up on Lego @ sales and hide sets from the boss and tell her when the time is right . I spend a good majority of my work day scanning EB, eBay and other fourms and sale sites in free time between calls and jobs. -

I picked up the fire truck and fire boat @ Campelltown Big-w on the weekend for $29 each. Awsome for the price, but I picked up the last two. Might still be some @ Narellan or Carns Hill. -

Nice little shot of JP Lost World. I checked out your other JP creations the other day and they are wonderful. I love your brick built dinos, very clever. -
Man that very impressive, love a the amout of grebbling and snot. I the cockpit looks a little flat but the mian body and engins have so much detail. Great job!
