Your design for this is very well done! I could easily see this being in a Star Wars related media.

SB00601 AR-PROJECT (MOC AT-RT 501 version UCS)
sandtrooper replied to StarBricks's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I really enjoyed building it like all of Mirko's designs. Due to the nature of the design, the build is linear from bottom to top. Usually when I build a MOC with large piece count, the pieces are sorted by type of piece and color. For instance if the MOC has a lot of LBG pieces, I will put all of the LBG plates in one group, all of the LBG tiles in another, etc. If there are only a few pieces for a single color, they will be grouped with other colors that have a small number of pieces. For the AR, all of the blue can be grouped together along with the white pieces. Once the pieces are sorted, I like to gather the pieces for a few steps at time, assemble them, pull pieces for the next few steps, assemble to the MOC is complete. -

[MOC] Imperial Star Destroyer - The Eviscerator
sandtrooper replied to 2mpaired's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm nearing the end of the build being half-way through Book 7. I just wanted to extend thanks to 2mpaired for such a robust, detailed design. The bridge has been one of my favorite parts due to the cleverness of the design. I really admire the skill required to design MOCs and the dedication to then generate directions. Also wanted to thank rockpig for creating inventories for each instruction book. It made what could have been an overwhelming build much easier to manage.- 169 replies

I just finished building this a couple of weeks ago. I tried the engine intake mod but wasn't able to pull it off. The fan portion was sticking out too far to connect the ring of cheese slopes to the plates with clips. The stand you come up with is really nice as well, bobs_cycle_shop.

There is an updated version of the Nebulon instructions available at the link below. Mortsev is given credit in the "Short Information" box. https://brick-collective.com/en/produkt/bb-02-nebulon-b-redemption/

I finished the mosaic a couple of days ago. The finished piece is quite striking in person! The layered coloring really adds to the detail of the picture. I have built a lot of MOCs - mainly Star Wars related - and this the first one my wife has been really excited about. As soon as it was finished, she wanted to find a place to hang it up. This has been enough of an inspiration that I would like to start making my own mosaics. Middlebrick if you're willing, I would be grateful for some pointers on how to get started on creating works of art like yours.

I am about to complete a build of this and need some advice. Attaching the engine intakes is about to drive me mad. Do the intakes rest on the Technic pins that stick out or is the back of the intake supposed to butt up to the pins? The weight of the intakes seems too heavy for the support that is supposed to hold them. Thank you.

Hello, I have a previously owned Titanic set on the way. The boxes one and two have been opened, but the third remains sealed. The seller thinks there may be missing pieces. Does anyone know of an online inventory that breaks the set down by box? Otherwise I'll do an inventory of the entire set. Thank you.

The model is excellent! What type of thread do you use for the rigging? Thank you. -
This mosaic really caught my eye! Bought the instructions, so this will be the first Lego mosaic I've ever done. Beautiful work on this!

[MOC] Imperial Star Destroyer - The Eviscerator
sandtrooper replied to 2mpaired's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I received an email that the instructions for this have been updated to version 3.0. Anyone know what changes were made? Also since I just completed an inventory to see what pieces are still missing, I would like to know what changes in the inventory there are. The new instructions are almost a 5 gb download, so haven't finished the download at this time.- 169 replies

I had the Titanic set in my cart Thursday, but by the time checkout was complete it had disappeared. PayPal was showing it had been purchased - Lego order summary didn't show it ordered. So basically it sold-out while the payment transaction was being made.

[MOC] Imperial Star Destroyer - The Eviscerator

Rockpig, I can't thank you enough for the time you put into the spreadsheet. It will make the sorting by book so much easier! The depth and functionality of the spreadsheet are incredible. I have been able to upload all eight inventories to Bricklink for sorting when time allows. I am mainly using Bricklink to more easily see what a given piece looks like. There are a couple of part numbers in the inventory that Bricklink no longer accepts when uploading and wanted to make you aware. Row 75 has 40345 - Bricklink requires 32532 Row 431 has 40344 - BL requires 32531 Row 432 has 40345 - BL again requires 32532 Thanks again for creating and making the spreadsheet available!- 169 replies

[MOC] Imperial Star Destroyer - The Eviscerator
sandtrooper replied to 2mpaired's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Close to having all of the pieces for this project. Would anyone happen to have separate sub-inventories for each book? I would rather pull the pieces of what is needed for each book since it would make building faster once started. Also it would help to see how many pieces were missed and still need to be ordered. Thank you.- 169 replies

UCS Mon Calamari Star Cruiser "CONFIDENCE" (MOC)

Bought the instructions last week! This will be a project for next year. -
Looking at the picture from your studio, I would say that Rebel Transport and Saturn V are incredibly impressive as well.

Fantastic work on this! Very well done on achieving the shape of the fighter. The canopy also really works well made from several pieces - rather than just a few pieces.

Thanks for the reply. I have been spending my free time sorting pieces and haven't even looked through the instructions yet. So that's the reason for my ignorant question.- 169 replies

[MOC] Imperial Star Destroyer - The Eviscerator
sandtrooper replied to 2mpaired's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I bought the instructions for the Eviscerator on May 4th. I am using the pieces for the Monarch for this and a few other projects and have just completed the inventory - so can start ordering pieces. With that in mind are the six LBG 29096 half cones used for the main engines? I am planning on using the Monarch's Death Star hemispheres for the engines, so would the half cones not be needed? If this has been discussed earlier in the thread, I apologize.- 169 replies

[MOC] Imperial Star Destroyer - The Eviscerator
sandtrooper replied to 2mpaired's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I recently bought the instructions for the Eviscerator for May 4th. My Monarch is being used as a donor for a portion of the pieces. For those that have gotten the parts for the Eviscerator, did you use Pick a Brick to get bulk amounts of pieces? If so which ones? Looks like that may be the way to go for tiles since Lego's shipping charge is relative cheap. Thanks.- 169 replies
