  1. The first post for this thread has the information for getting the instructions.
  2. I agree that the shipping cost is high to the US. However the manuals I have gotten from him have arrived in a few days - not weeks of waiting. To me this is part of Mirko's commitment to high quality and great service.
  3. Okay. My apologies. I misunderstood what LDD was doing (or rather not doing) in this case. I haven't used LDD since building this model.
  4. Check out the posts earlier on this page from Rockpig on October 31 and MidLife-Crisis on November 23. At one time those posts had links for the MOC to upload to LDD.
  5. Reaper, this version of the y-wing is really stunning. Since this is one of my favorite CW ships it makes it even more special. I'd always hoped for an UCS MOC version and this may fill that niche. Do you have plans to create instructions or build it IRL?
  6. My thought it would be cost prohibitive for Lego due to piece count. Most of the UCS MOCs I've built have far more pieces than an official Lego set would have. Because of this the design would also be simplified by Lego. Also some of the MOCs aren't builder friendly in the sense that they are more complex to assemble. Lego seems to shoot for making their builds universally easy to build based on the age of the builder. Just my thoughts.
  7. Schneeds, the Falcon looks fantastic! Would you go more in depth on how the display table was built? Thanks
  8. Redbird, thanks for posting that information. I didn't know about adding "pb" to a lot number to see the printed versions and I've only been using Bricklink for 10 years now.
  9. I will go along with the crowd on this one. The Falcon(s), then Slave I (because the build techniques really captured the ship well) then the B-wing since it is one of my favorite ships.
  10. Here is a video featuring the bomber and the man himself! Resistance Bomber
  11. You might be interested in the Efferman Stand. Efferman Stand
  12. I built Thire5's version of the RotS Jedi Starfighter a couple of months ago. His instructions for that are among the best I have seen of any MOC. The Venator instructions should be exceptional.
  13. I am a huge fan of the Aubrey/Mauturin books and the movie as well. Your model of the Surprise is truly stunning! One of the best MOCs I've ever seen.
  14. Monarch This is an official link for getting the instructions for the model. It you click on the "Inventory" tab you will see an inventory of all the pieces needed for the model. I didn't click on the link you provided, but you will have to order the pieces from Lego or Bricklink. You can contact Onecase either here on Eurobricks after you have made 10 posts or through Rebrickable.
  15. Hello all, I've been steadily building the Monarch for a month now. Currently have finished the frame/keel and attached the ventral hull sections to the frame. I've also been hopping around in the directions building the bottom two levels of the bridge superstructure. For the bottom most level I had to deviate from the directions to get one section to work. On page 1318, step #5 the instructions ask for a 1x2 plate to be used. The only way I could get the longer tile for step #7 to fit was to use another modified 1x2 plate with stud in place of the 1x2 plate. The same substitution was also needed on page 1324, step #5. Maybe I did something wrong. The Monarch is a fantastic model and a very enjoyable build. I can't imagine the amount of work that it took to not only design the ship but to make the directions as well. Onecase you did a fantastic job!
  16. Very nice work! This is a build I always wanted to do, but don't have room to put it anywhere.
  17. I'd be interested in a list of changes as well, Rockpig. Thanks for creating the list!
  18. I'm about 70% done with getting the pieces for the build. Off the top of my head, the list below are either ones still being looked for or are hard to get in quantity needed. They are all available but can be expensive to get. 298c03 lever small base with light gray lever - black 6141 1x1 plate round - dark red 604552 tool wrench - flat silver 98115 - Death Star hemisphere - the bottom half is harder to get than the top 12885 paint roller - light bluish gray 75c14 hose - light bluish gray 3043 slope - light bluish gray - substituted light gray for this 85861 1x1 plate round with hollow stud - orange 6141 1x1 plate round - sand green 3960 4x4 dish inverted - trans clear
  19. Bricksmarlin, did you use glue to attach the LED strips to the plates like the instructions suggest or some other method?
  20. Do the 4531 pieces need to be light gray?
  21. How many "bombs" are used for the model?
  22. Stunning model inside and out! The detail is fantastic.
  23. My copy of the instructions heave arrived. I'm having a hard time reading the tile. Edit: Thanks to Mirko's help the tile is #31.
  24. Congrats on brickling the DS II. I did the same several years ago. It's an interesting build, but the "unfinished" hemisphere can be somewhat tedious to build.
