  1. Thank you for providing the instructions! Really great model of the x-wing.
  2. For the old version of the UCS Falcon, I used Lifelites. They are very small with a variety of ways of wiring them together. Lifelites There are some thumb sized pictures to show what is possible. For the cockpit there is an overhead light and two on the control console. For the new model it might be more difficult to run the wire because of the interior. I don't have it, so can't comment on it.
  3. InsideLego, would you check on the .LXF file links for your ships? I'd like to download the files but am getting errors on file not found. Thank you for sharing the files!
  4. I went through the instructions and determined what could only be seen from the outside of the ship. Magnet Holder Substitutes If you go to the middle of the page from the link above, you will see what the magnet holder substitutes look like.
  5. When I built mine most of the technic bricks that form the keel were several different colors since I bought the cheapest I could find and didn't worry about the color of the bricks. Are the magnet holders still on your list? They are very expensive. Your best bet will be to use some of the alternatives to the magnet holders elsewhere in this thread. This picture shows some of the brick substitutes as well as the magnet holder replacements in my build.
  6. Looking forward to seeing the finished model.
  7. This is a long term project for me, so getting the parts for one book at a time with some overlap. Almost have all the pieces for book 1 and have started on 2. I can't imagine having all the pieces at one time laid out.
  8. To you that have the all of the pieces for the build, where are you getting the stickers for the interior? I'm thinking about not doing the finished interior because I don't think it will ever be displayed.
  9. A few years ago, I bricklinked this too. Somewhere I made a mistake when building one of the unfinished hemispheres and had to start it over again. I like the model but it was somewhat tedious to build. I also agree that Lego should increase the resolution of the online instructions.
  10. The link below has information on how to get the instruction manual: Zeta Shuttle
  11. I browsed through the instructions. All of the trans-clear are for the stands.
  12. I have the parts for EKae's version and just started building it last weekend when the instructions came out. I have the 85941 pieces. Do you think they will look too out of place?
  13. For my 10179 I used two strips of LEDs. It was one strip for the bottom half of the engine from right to left, then put a twist in the strip and string it back across the top from left to right. I had to add some small columns of bricks behind the LEDs to keep them in place.
  14. Thanks for the link and confirmation of the part, Bricksmarlin!
  15. I've uploaded the parts list to Bricklink and also went through the one on Rebrickable. I'm not finding the white half cylinders (#85941?) on the list for the engines. (maybe I'm just blind) Should there be 22 of them?
  16. I finished building this a few weeks ago. It was a very smooth build until you get to the underside greebling. My advice is take your time and don't be in a hurry to finish it.
  17. Looks very good. Hope you build it with actual bricks. Would like to add it (at least the Obi-Wan version) to my collection.
  18. There are four shops with that part on Bricklink. The cheapest one is $71.25US.
  19. Would 16 of the 27925 tiles be enough for the build? Thank you.
  20. If you're talking about Bricksmarlin's pictures, the dark gray ship with orange bottom is Renegade Clone's Zeta Shuttle. You can see it in this link: Zeta Shuttle
  21. I Bricklinked the Falcon a few years ago and added some LEDs to the build. If you scroll down to the middle of the thread there is some information on the LEDs. If you have any questions, let me know. Sandtrooper Falcon
  22. I would also like to be able to download the CSV files. Building book by book would be the only way I'd consider doing this. Thanks for doing this!
  23. It doesn't look like Mortsev had anything to do with this MOC.
  24. Is the parts list going to be uploaded to Rebrickable? I'd like to look through it before deciding on the instructions. I don't think I'll have room for it anyway. The build looks great though!
