  1. I have been contemplating building a boat with my smaller hulls like you have done here. This might inspire me to do so though I doubt I will create as nice looking of a boat. Nice angles on the rear cabin and great job on the custom sails.
  2. The story continues! It appears he is going to be successful with his quest of vengeance. Great inclusion of the starfish and crab! Arylego already gave some pointers on rockwork so I will just say that this is way better than my first attempt at it. Keep up the good work.
  3. Nice minifigure posing and great bayonets! This is a nice little soldier build and another great addition to Port Woodhouse.
  4. The colors on this building are exceptional and work together very well. The wheel covers are a great addition above the windows, and add nice texture to the walls. I especially like the bell tower and how it is recessed from the building below it by one brick. Great job.
  5. This build is beautiful but the chest railings on the walkway were what immediately caught my eye. I am going to have to use that concept in the future! Great job on the varied foliage and I like many of the unique usages you included. Great job.
  6. The design is orderly and simplistic but I love the park and the color combinations you have included. Also great job on the texture of the walkway. The gold statue is a great touch as well.
  7. This is a lovely building both on the inside and the outside! I like the statues on the exterior, the design of the walls and the shape of the roof among other things. The interior is also exceptional with the staircase, windows and chairs taking particular note from myself. Also the floor tiling is well done and I am surprised how well the different color combinations work together, so I will have to try that in the future. There is so much more I could note on as this is an exceptional building.
  8. This scene is full of action and great minifigure posing. I can tell this isn't a build you spent alot of time on as it misses some of the texture you normally insert into your builds, however, I could only wish that my quick or even medium speed builds looked this good at the end. Great job!
  9. This is a great little build and a nice usage of the Frenchman's shirt. I like the look of the floor though I have no idea how you created that effect.
  10. This is a great scene overall and I like how you attempted to follow the style of trador. The SNOT railing pieces definitely help make the railing look amazing. Great job assembling the two teams, but the real praise should go to the posing of all the minifigures to make this scene so lively. Great job!
  11. Great team and nice build. I like how you used the big brown pieces with the tan wall to create some more depth and texture. Also nice usage of the pineapple for a fun story.
  12. There is a lot to love about this build. I really like the building and the design you have given it. The white and tan color of the pathway are a great choice. The furniture on the inside is also exceptional, with the bookshelf being the largest highlight. I am also enjoying reading the story as it progresses and look forward to the next portion.
  13. Those are some amazing gateways. I really like the effects you have created with the bell tower in the rear. I also love the carriage.
  14. The way you shaped the building is really well done and definitely creates the effect of a glass building. The trees are nice too but the shape and abundance of windows are my favorite part. Great job.
  15. I really like the idea behind this build and the way you pulled off the cave without making it too dark. I do think the stalactites and stalagmites could have benefited with some solid colors or maybe the smokey transparent as they are not clear in real life. However, despite that the scene does look great and catches the eye.
  16. The tree is a great addition to this build. I have seen several trees like this in my life (though none by the ocean) and you did a good job of portraying it. I like the forced perspective and the lighthouse. Well done.
  17. Another fun read and good day of competition. Looking forward to match 3.
  18. This was a fun read! I am glad to see both of my teams did well. Hopefully, they will keep up the hard work. Look forward to tomorrow's results.
  19. Sept 2 was what the extension was stated as. Mine was the last team posted and was about 8 hours before that deadline was past.
  20. The problem with imitating another builders style is the lure of wanting to copy a specific portion verbatim. I soooo wanted to do it in tan and brown, but that was the colors for the WETEC building. Now I know why you picked those colors for my minifigs. Definitely, a singular goal even if the learning style is varied! The texture was a fun part to add in as I don't think I have done this style of texture before to a physical build I have done, but have loved it on other builds I have seen. Always have to have an animal in the build. (Or almost always as I missed that in my last build.) I have been wanting to use the microfigs on a building since I got them and this was the secondary goal going into this building. Two words on tan tooth pieces: Big Ben. I specifically asked for that set for the multitude of tan pieces. They have come in handy this year! Thank you! The texture has been a learning experience as I have studied everyone's builds, but I did like how this one turned out.
  21. The Onondaga are also in Trador for the tournament.
  22. The western nations were not the only people sending teams to the Trador Soccer Tournament. The Onondaga people of Lacryma have played a foot and ball game for centuries. The rules may be a bit different from the soccer games the WETEC has known, but once they understood that they didn't get to keep the losing team, the learning curve shortened significantly. (Though they seemed saddened about that fact.) Their ball also tended to weigh more than the ones in use in Trador. However, the WETEC felt that it would go far toward national relations if all nations had the opportunity to be represented at the tournament. Thus they graciously gave the Onondaga transportation with the WETEC soldiers upon the Alexander. There was some difficulty once in Trador in convincing the Onondaga players to sleep on the beds. They seemed to prefer their blankets on the floor. Though the youngest did find the bed a novelty to sit upon. Note: I wanted to bring the Onondaga to the tournament, but was short on time to do so. The extension gave me a chance to combine that with my desire to try out some new furniture improvements. The blankets were just a fun addition at the very end.
  23. A small schoolhouse is licensed in Trador. A small residence is licensed in Trador.
  24. Arthur Kellogg has put together some of the WETEC's best soccer players to enter into the New Terra Soccer Cup. Granted there are not a lot of soccer players among the WETEC as a new sport is taking hold, but there are still several. Thus he feels that he has put together a good enough team to make the WETEC proud. As they wait for the games to start, Arthur and several of the players decided to go see one of Trador's schools as all good Corrington minifigs would love to do. Education after all is the most paramount issue. Upon following the directions they received from the perplexed innkeeper, they have arrived at the school building at the end of a street of buildings. They were a little surprised to see the one of the pupils on recess busy selling candy for a profit. As the captain of the team noted, "The Eslandola spirit must be born into them. They do indeed start young." A little different angle: Note: This is licensed as a small education building. I attempted to mimic the style presented on the Merchant's Quay, which is why I left the roof studs exposed and only why one side of the building is visible. (The other side would be connected to an adjoining building.)
