    I just wanted to let you guys know my trip was a success. I returned with 2 exclusive Lego stores and 1 pack of exclusive minifigs. Thanks to everyone who gave me an idea of what to expect.

    It's funny to see so many of you are reporting these sets are selling out everywhere. At my local Lego store they always have them well stocked, even my local TRU has several available. The only set I haven't been able to find anywhere is the gallimimus trap polybag.

    As far as I know VIP points count as real money. They are giving you the points to use, why would they care what day you redeem them? You could always call a Lego store or Lego customer support and ask.

    I'll admit I'm pretty excited for that pirate exclusive. A new print is very welcome, and you can never have too many sharks. I might try to get 2 of these. As for the repetetive heads in this pirates line, I just bought my own to replace doubles and give more variety.

    Nice castle! Great use of the baseplate. I need to build my 2013 dragon knights a fortress as well. Some contrasting color would have been nice but I totally understand being limited on bricks. If you have any 1x2 crosshole peices I think putting a few of those dragon sheilds into the structures main enterance would go a long way for faction identification purposes, imo.

    I'm lovin' this bluecoat vessel. It looks to me like a bit of a mix between The Brick Bounty and Brickbeards Bounty only in bluecoat colors. Great work!

    There is a brand new Lego Store opening near my area (about 3 hours away) and I'm planning on going. They will be giving away t-shirts, limited edition figures and such if you spend a certain dollar amount. However there are limited quantities available. I have never gone to one of these and I have a few questions. How many of you have experience with these events or have gone to one in the past? How busy are these events and how early would you recommend I go to ensure I can get these freebies? I was thinking of lining up one hour before opening, is this enough? Should I go earlier or is it even necessary to go before the store opens? Any other information you could give would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

    I would like to see some other dino moulds as well, specifically a stegosaurus. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a triceratops from the 2012 Dino I found at Toys R Us recently but I would buy another one if Lego makes a new print.
