  1. How do you think the petri dish would be made? Another idea for a pill bottle could be a trans orange 1x1 round brick and a white round tile.
  2. Very cool idea, but I'm trying to be purist.
  3. That's what I was suggesting in a conversation with my mom (my parents are really into the show too), since Lego has that erlenmeyer flask piece. She was thinking that could be an option for Amy, because of that scene where Sheldon's working in her lab with her and she has him wash all those beakers and stuff. I still think I like that idea for Bernadette, though, because Amy's more about brains than beakers. Any other ideas?
  4. Well, I'm glad I mentioned that lightsaber color. Any ideas for an accessory for Bernadette?
  5. Does anyone have any ideas for any alternate accessories for the characters that aren't in the set? I already came up with a light blue bladed lightsaber for Leonard, a white flag on a black or brown lightsaber blade piece for Sheldon, maybe a transparent pink brain piece or turtle for Amy, and (to copy someone else's idea) a wine bottle and glass for Penny, but I'm not sure what to give Bernadette. Also, what do you guys think of using this piece for Penny's hair instead of the included piece?
  6. I do indeed, and I like it very much, except that I might simplify the handle somewhat, since it doesn't need to be complicated with the shooter function done away with. Now all that remains to be seen is how he looks with blue eyes instead of the green.
  7. Do you have any input on how the hammer would look with the two pieces on the back duplicated for the front? I'm not that excited about the idea of a hammer being a shooter, and I'm curious about the look.
  8. Depending on the size of the file, you can use a website to remove pages of a pdf, or even recombine them or combine several separate files into one. If the file is too big to use a website, you may have to use a program, but free programs for that purpose do exist.
  9. The hands on Beast Boy there look like the dark bluish grey color, but how does he look with light bluish grey hands? That's the color I'm leaning toward using, since I already have one (I think) from some hand swapping I did with my Winter Soldier to make him more MCU accurate.
  10. I'm definitely planning to get this set. I wonder what Ekimu would look like with a blue eyestalk and black bones where they're shown in the Legend animation, as well as two more of the hammer back pieces for the front. Also, can Ekimu still hold his hammer up with only one supporting gear (If he can, I'm giving the extra gear to Kulta)? I'm planning to make those changes once I get the set, but I'd like to see what it looks like, and in the case of the question, if it works, beforehand.
  11. I recently noticed something in the Beast Boy minifigure that needs a simple change. If you look at the minifigure, his hands are green, yet if you look at the character in the cartoons, he's wearing grey gloves. I'm going to give my Beast Boy grey hands once he arrives, because of that. I wonder why that was overlooked when the minifigure was designed.
  12. I like that the Green Lantern lantern is small enough not to look ridiculous in a minifigure hand, with said minifigure on display, unlike the one in the Green Lantern set. I'm planning on making another one, or maybe just using the one from the set, so that I can give my GL minifigure a lantern that's more to scale with him. I also checked, and the pieces exist to make a yellow one in the same style, so Sinestro will also be getting a lantern in that style. As it is, I reworked the GL lantern that came in the GL set, and gave Sinestro one in the same style, reasoning that I don't have to have both halves of the minifigures visible since they're vertically mirror symmetrical, but it'll be nice not to have those brobdingnagian monstrosities in my display cases.
  13. I wasn't suggesting you get bootlegs to fill in the mark order gaps, those are just something that people who arrange them in mark order, as I do, have to deal with. I'm glad to hear that you already thought to make the alcoves modular. For myself, I have to figure out how to fit all the IM suits into the Iron Man's Lab build (which is what I use to display mine) once SC comes out (I took out WM and IP once 43 and 45 came out, because they don't have numbers to them, so they're difficult to order with the rest).
  14. That looks really cool. I suggest you make the armor alcoves modular if you haven't, though, because I suspect they'll be coming out with IM suits for as long as the Marvel license lasts, and I think, based on how wide it is right now, that you'll probably want to keep adding alcoves to that layout so you'll be able to fit them all as they come out. I also suggest that you arrange them in mark order instead of release order, but I suppose you can do either way.
  15. I know that, but for those of us who want to focus on the movie version, the hands are wrong, so some of us took it upon ourselves to change that.
  16. Cool to see that I'm not the only one who noticed, and fixed, the non-movie-accuracy of the hands.
  17. With the reveal of the Big Bang Theory Ideas set, I'm thinking about recreating the GL lantern they show so that my Hal Jordan and Sinestro can have actual minifigure scaled lanterns, instead of the monstrosities they (I made a yellow one based on the design of the green one from the GL set) currently have, that go up to their chests. The tap piece currently exists in yellow, but doesn't exist yet in green, so I could make Sinestro a smaller lantern right now, but I'd have to wait for the set before I can make one for Hal.
  18. Thanks for posting that pic. I kept forgetting to take a pic of mine, and your pic is better than mine would have been anyway. As for your statement, I mostly agree with you, but I still think I like him better with sleeves than without. I'll link to your post in the first post, to make the pic easy to see.
  19. Once the Carnage set comes out in force are you planning to use the printed turbine piece from that to replace the pieces you're currently using? I'm really curious how that'd look.
  20. I just meant adding them as in they weren't in the set to begin with, unless I'm remembering wrong.
  21. Interesting idea to put repulsors in the knees for extra force. As for the second one, I've seen the movie, but I don't remember that part, unless it was from the beginning at the Hydra fortress, in which case I think I might remember it.
  22. Just as a tip for others who want pdf files before it's made available directly from the program, it's possible to convert images into pdf files, then combine those pdf files into one file, all through online converters and pdf editors, so you don't have to be stuck with a lot of separate images.
  23. I don't get how what Loki's holding is his staff. How'd you arrive at that design for the Mind Gem staff, which is what I'm assuming you're trying to replicate with that. Besides that, though, very cool.
  24. Some of them, like the Eiffel Tower, Watchtower, and most of the lantern central batteries, are either not possible in LDD, or very hard to make. I think the bottled city is too detailed, and the Fortress of Solitude might be as well. I might try the 75th Anniversary cake or Bizarro World next, but what you see so far is all of what I have completed and presentable.
  25. Which Thor, the AoU one or the original one? Also, I tried my idea myself, and it might take some getting used to, besides the fact that I now have two Justice League members with the same hair style, though they're not directly beside each other, so that helps a little. I'm wondering what the spiked hairstyle would look like on him now, though that piece doesn't exist in yellow yet.
