  1. I'd be very interested to see that.
  2. Think I should put up the LDD files for them? I'm also thinking of uploading the 12 second (in most cases) clips I used to build them to YouTube. I need to update the '66 Batmobile image too
  3. I haven't tried that with LB3, but I tried it with the Lego Marvel game, and I think I got the X-Mansion almost completed. I ran into some trouble with the finishing touches on the roof, though.
  4. Vern is from the live action Ninja Turtles movie theme. I'm really glad that you posted that pic, since I really wanted to know what that looked like after I thought of it.
  5. That's really cool. Someone should do one for a few different S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, and maybe even some other non-flying Avengers, like maybe Cap and Hawkeye. I think that'd be pretty cool.
  6. Well, this one isn't from LB3, but I made the Hero Super-Kit from the first Lego Batman video game, which is Wayne Manor. The only piece that I wasn't sure about is the one making the windows, because it's not as simple as the piece I used, but I couldn't find it in LDD, so I used the backward headlight brick you see in the image. I'm not sure I'll put it in the first post, since it's not from LB3, which is the main focus of the topic. Hero Super-Kit - Wayne Manor by Silent Nomad, on Flickr
  7. Thanks for the suggestion, but I think the images I'm using as references (further up on this page) call for a lighter tan than that.
  8. Thanks for the suggestion, but I think I'll just go with the plain ones. The belt on the one in the image is only about half there, and Indy's legs wouldn't work because the tail of the belt goes down to the leg, and the gun belt is continued on the crotch, so if I swapped out unprinted legs it'd look weird, besides being the wrong color. Thanks for trying, though. -Nomad
  9. Does anyone know of a tan hip piece with a preferably brown belt? I recently realized that Steve, in the pictures I posted, wears a belt that looks like it's brown. It's more visible in the second pic, with the shield.
  10. I think your torso idea works significantly better than mine, Lego Nolan. The breast pockets on the jacket are the same shape, and the collar of the shirt is the same color as the rest of it. I think I'll use that torso instead of the HP one that I thought of. The only problem I can see is that there are two more pockets (the lower two) than there needs to be, but those can be removed if need be. -Nomad
  11. Glad to hear it. -Nomad
  12. I just rewatched Captain America 2, and I have an idea of how to make a civilian clothes Steve Rogers, based on scenes like these: I don't have any of the pieces, myself, so I'll just post pictures of each piece and leave it to someone else to put it together, and imaginations in the mean time. I hope you enjoy. Captain America's hair and head from the Helicarrier set: One of Harry Potter's torsos: Regular tan legs: And his shield, for when he needs to fight in the street: -Nomad
  13. You should try some yourself. They're really fun to figure out. If you trim some free play youtube videos down to the minikit builds at the end they're only about twelve seconds long. How I did it is I just paused the video and selected sections to look at in order to first see how a section was built, then where and how it went onto the previous section(s). I'm thinking of maybe doing it for the Lord of the Rings minikit that's a Sauron bust (I forget which level that is), but I think that's the only one from that game I'm interested in. I'm curious about what kinds of minikits the Pirates of the Caribbean game has, and maybe Indiana Jones and Harry Potter too.
  14. Cool takes on Percy Jackson.
  15. Super Girl and Wonder Woman have red legs, not flesh. The flesh part is printing. Look for pictures of them from the back with no capes in the way and you'll see that. As for flesh legs, there are only two minifigures that come with unprinted ones according to Bricklink, which are both from the set with Krum. The other one is the Harry Potter from that set. If you want a red hip piece without having to replace said hip piece, I'd go with Krum's legs.
  16. That's pretty cool. I only got mine for the minifigure, since I'm a minifigure collector and I like Will, but I might have to try that with mine before I take it apart, if I even end up doing that.
  17. Is no one interested in this at all?
  18. Now I'm curious to see what this display looks like. Do you have a picture of it?
  19. Having an empty space behind one of the feet would bug me. I can see why you used the joysticks, but I still say that I, myself, wouldn't even consider doing that unless the stick parts were brown. It's cool that you made him able to wave, though. The reason I came up with the white stud feet wasn't purely for height, it was because in the movie he has separate snowballs for his feet, but the minifigure has no representation of that in its original form. I thought of using the white studs because those have been used as snowballs in a lot of winter themed sets.
  20. I have the pdf files of 1-27 and cbr files of the rest of them in a zip file on a file hosting site if you want me to post a link to it here.
  21. I've bought a copy of the minifigure since asking the question, and I've done what I proposed, and it baffles me that they didn't design the minifigure that way. The set comes with two spare white stud pieces, according to bricklink, but there's no third white stud piece like you used (though how you did that is beyond me if you centered it), or clear 1x2 plate like I used. Do you mean the joystick piece? If you do, I don't like that he'd lose his hands if I did that, and I don't think the piece comes in the same brown color as his original arms, which is the only color I'd be comfortable using for that piece in that purpose if I wasn't already uncomfortable with doing that.
  22. I wasn't planning on it. The only reason I did the YL Batman is because he appears in the LB3 game exactly as I made him (except for the facial expression, but all of the Batman variants in LB3 have that expression, so I overlooked that). My original plan was to keep the YL torso's yellow hands, and that's what I would have done if I hadn't seen the LB3 version. Right now I see my YL Batman as being a 75th anniversary Batman tribute, since that's the DLC in which it appears in LB3.
  23. I'm not sure why, but no one said anything about my yellow lantern Batman, either positively or negatively. What did you all think of it? It's a few pages back by now, right here.
  24. His face hair printing is black, so I think he looks better with a black hairpiece. That's how I have the one IM that I don't have wearing his helmet.
