  1. This is really good! The color scheme and architecture reminds me of the Southwest, especially with those palm trees and large windows. If I were you, I'd keep expanding and rebuilding each one of those buildings until it's absolutely perfect.
  2. I'd love to see Thanos in a Lego set in the distant future. I know it'll happen, but it'd ruin me to find out if they made him into a bigfig.
  3. Well- that was a big mistake. I probably should've done a bit more research than my own anecdotal evidence. Anyways, I really can't wait for new Castle sets. Hopefully there's a bit more Nordic influence than typical Medieval european fantasy. I'd love to see Draugrs instead of the typical skeletons. And maybe some more fabric fur pieces like the CMF Hun warrior.
  4. I'm really excited for Castle 2016. The only issue is, Lego usually alternates between Castle and Pirates every 6-7 years. For example, 2007-2009 was Fantasy Castle, and then we had 2009 - 2011 Pirates with PotC, Pirates, and Imperial Flagship. Then we had 6 years of LotR, The Hobbit, and Castle. The point I'm trying to make is that we won't have a Castle line until the discontinuation of Pirates, and any associated licensed sets. Now we have Pirates 2015, and we should expect a big ship or a second wave in 2016, and then a second wave 2016 or first wave 2017 PotC line to coincide with the new movie. So I'd expect Castle to happen 2017 minimum.
  5. This is amazing! If Lego made more City and Creator boats like this, my allowance would be sucked dryer than a desert. You have to put this on Lego Ideas. The shaping of the hull is good, the details are good, and the only gripes I have are that it's a tiny bit small, and some of the slightly illegal part connections. I'd love to see larger vessels built with this method. Just imagine a Lego Creator Cruise Ship built with this method. This is absolutely perfect.
  6. All of those look really good. I'd say I'm most excited for the Space Shuttle, Heavy Haul Train, and the Exploration Vessel. It looks like you can put two of the 60095 Exploration Vessel hulls to make a bigger ship. I really want them to do more 16 wide boats and it looks like you can use a Pirates base to extend the two, but I hope they release a expansion piece like with the old 6-wide boats. I'm definitely getting that set just for the boat hull and bridge pieces.
  7. I'd say two HUGE possible future misses would be another chance for a Hogwarts Express and a UCS Hogwarts with the new Fantastical Beasts And Where To Find Them movie. It's likely to be one of Legos last chances with the Harry Potter license, and it better not disappoint.
  8. I've been playing around with a model of WALL-Es wheel arrangement in LDD, and it got me thinking. How posable will the model be? We know for a fact that he'll have the tracks, head, and arms posable. But what about other sections? I'd love to be able to adjust the shape of the track, like how WALL-E stands higher, open up the front door and fold up the top of his body and push his back in like when he compacts trash, and possibly slide his arms back and forth on his body. From what I could tell, it's quite easy to add in all these hinges and such. The only two I'd be concerned about are extending his arms and making the L shaped track that his arms slide on. If we can't get all these features, I hope we can at least angle his eyes, adjust his eyebrows, and movable track.
  9. I'm so excited for this! Wall-E is one of the best Pixar films I've seen, and they're making a set of it. It's nearly unbelievable that this happened, between the Helicarrier, Slave 1, and other sets, let alone working in part with one of the Pixar animators who actually worked on the film. The only way I could be any happier is if someone posted a Iron Giant project and it got approved. The only question I have is how big is it? I'd love to see something about 12X12 or 16X16 studs big. This is definitely going to be something that I keep together.
  10. OSX 10.9.5 in Safari. This was the only site I experienced problems with, and since the ad block that Sinner mentioned, Eurobricks has run perfect.
  11. The site was opendownloadmanager.com. There was a extension of random characters after the main URL besides the typical showtopic/entry numbers. As soon as the page finished loading, I received a browser popup asking if I wanted to proceed to open download manager.com, which continued to the site without selecting the options. During this, it redirected to 1 or 2 completely randomized URLs before going to opendownloadmanager, which I'm guessing was a redirect leading from the false Eurobricks URL to this site. After the site loaded, I clicked out of the browser popup, force quit, erased all history and cache/cookie data, and then I ran virus and adware detecting software. It was showing a security certificate error that I dismissed when I opened Eurobricks since the URL matched completely, and it showed up on other topics randomly, so it may not necessarily be from an advertisement on the page, but a hack, since I can't fathom how going to the site would randomly redirect to a Adware site otherwise. And I have kept in mind a possible virus on my computer, but I've tracked downloads, checked for browser extensions, and ran several virus programs. I'm not entirely sure it's not my computer, as most antivirus programs can detect on average %90 of viruses, but I've done everything within my means to guarantee it wasn't my browser, and I wouldn't have come forward if I wasn't sure. Thank you so much for being cautious about this problem.
  12. For some reason, since two days ago, Eurobricks keeps redirecting to Adware sites. It mainly is occurring on the forum index, but it just started happening in Train Tech. I know it's not a client side problem since I've run AdwareMedic and ClamXAV and my computer has come up completely clean. It's happened 3 times now. Every time its happened I clear history, clear cache, disable WebGL, etc, but it keeps on reoccurring. I heard someone mention that ads on mobile keep redirecting to App store, and it's bothersome enough they can't browse. Could this be related? I'm tired of this and it should be fixed or at least investigated. Is anyone else having problems with this?
  13. How tall is the Light House set?
  14. That was a pretty silly mistake. I guess I wrote it like that cause I wasn't sure whether it was Europe or New Zealand or Greenland. I could've worded it a bit better. To be fair though, the US is quite a bit larger, and we focus mainly on the Americas in geography, instead of the whole world. Is there any vague information yet? Even a crude guess can finely hone the edge of knowledge. I imagine Lego won't do a high speed train, and that's all I can realistically postulate. That leaves us with steam or diesel. I'd be happy with either one, but I'd imagine something based off of the North Coast Limited. Since it's being released quarter 3, that means we could have a unofficial Christmas train if it's a steam train. Give it a brake van, cargo/luggage car, a diner car, and a observation car, all pulled behind a Pere Marquette styled 4-8-4 locomotive. That's what I'm hoping for anyways.
  15. That's what I'm talking about. The problem is, they're released exclusively to certain parts of Europe like New Zealand and Greenland. They need to be released internationally, exclusively through Lego Stores and Shop@Home.
  16. This is a really good project! I don't really have any criticisms about it at all. Just one thing though. Do you plan on adding the space ship wreck that's standing crooked outside of the Cantina? Also, I don't think people would mind if you traded out a building or two and made a facade, (maybe the entrance and interior) of the space port where the Millennium Falcon is parked.
  17. That'd be pretty awesome. Skip the roadside structures to free up budget, add a lot more track, (maybe release a bundle with all track and trackside structure sets with the train internationally) and make a long distance passenger train. Kind of like a EMD7 locomotive, but with a lot more passenger cars.
  18. Gender: Male Occupation/print on torso: Boy Scout Type of headgear: brown/blond short hair Type of facial expression: Emmet style smile with regular eyes Color on torso/legs: Sand yellow torso with sand blue legs (printed hiking boots maybe?) Accessory: Backpack and binoculars
  19. I don't see any reason why they wouldn't release a new train this year. Lego has always ensured there will be a train set every year, and there's always been a delay from the discontinuation of a specific train and the announcement/release of a new one. And every time, people bite their nails and worry if there's going to be one for the next year.
  20. I just had a crazy idea. Considering this is only the second generation of Power Function trains (three if you count the red cargo train), what if there's plans for a Train theme again? It'd make sense since they want to establish the practicality of the Power Functions system first. It took a few sets before Lego trusted the financial stability/cost effectiveness of the 4.5/12/9 volt systems. Considering the fact that next year is the 50th anniversary, they must have something big planned. So I'm crossing my fingers big time and hoping we get the new Creator train soon.
  21. Does that mean in City we could get a Light-Rail or Metroliner style passenger train?
  22. I would love to see some Montezuma's Castle style cliff dwellings in any future Western theme. Given the timeline of Native Americans during the Western Expansion, Lego wouldn't have to worry about cultural insensitivities because the Anasazi tribe just up and disappeared about 1000 years earlier. This gives a good chance for some good, expansive ruins to explore and have fun building.
  23. This is a really nice moc! If you'd accept a suggestion, replace the brick built legs with yellow ones (maybe from the Where's My Pants guy?) and use a colored skirt piece for the kilt.
  24. Horizon was pretty much completely confidential and completely unleaked until its release on January 1, 2013. I imagine we'll get one on a same or similar release date, so hopefully soon. It'll probably be released around Easter at the latest.
  25. I really like this project! I really like the design of the different components and how they snap together with technic pins. Given I was too young and missed out on a ton of stuff (Hobby Train, Holiday Train, etc) and didn't really appreciate the train stuff until just about a few weeks ago, I would buy as many of these as I can with my money. This could truly be this generation's Hobby Train.
