So, if you won't let us good SHIELD members arrest you for obvious criminal behavior, aren't you then an obvious Hydra scummo? Hmmmm???
-
Crap, we got a drunk pizza guy here. Someone call the cops, he sure shouldn't be driving any more tonight.

The 'stache is here. Glad to see the boss is already taking advantage of being able to write his own rules and making a loophole in rule 8 for himself.

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Sign Ups!

No, no, no... I meant "we" as in the town that I'm always a loyal part of. I'm the towniest of townies. No, wait, that title's been claimed. I'm the loyalest of loyal townies. How's that? -

Sign me up. Yes, I've been around a while. Yes, I'll be around to play this one. Um, Gonna say the first Captain America because I think it's the most recent one I've seen. -
Moving this from the Bazaar to here since I'm not running the business anymore, and looking to get rid of stuff. I'm on the straightshooter list here, have a Bricklink store (ViroColor Productions) with over 700 feedback, as well as an ebay account with 1500 (eBay feedback). I'm adding prices as I go to some of these; others are for trade or negotiable. Feel free to make offers. I'm generally looking for roughly Bricklink value, but am open to deals/trades/discounts for large orders/etc. I'm located in Columbus, OH, USA, but will ship worldwide. I do it all the time in my Bricklink store. Shipping costs will be actual costs for whatever method you want. Here's what I have: Bulk (these are leftover parts from selling stuff in my Bricklink store. Expect no figs or parts that were new when a set was released, since I pulled those out to sell them. Sets are definitely NOT complete and are usually parts from multiple copies of a set. The set references are just to give you a color scheme and idea of what might be in there, but there are no guarantees of certain parts being included. Parts are 95% brand new and unused, the other 5% were built one time and taken apart and stored. Asking $18 for identified bags, and $15 for misc bags. Lots more bulk coming as I get things cleaned out. Misc 2lb bags Dino (2012) 2lb bag City 4109 Curved Road Plates, brand new and sealed. Have a couple packs (2 plates in a pack), $22 per pack. Train 10170 TTX Container Car set. Have 3 total (3 sets, so 6 total cars). One has box (end torn up to open it) and manual, stickers applied. The other two are just parts and unused sticker sheet. All stickers are ministickers.nl reproductions - look FANTASTIC. Asking $90 a set. 9V track in old dark grey - have 16 curves and 2 straight. Asking $11 for the lot. Ok condition. Technic Licensed 4865 Harry Potter Forbidden Forest - new in sealed box, but box may have price sticker or residue on it. $40 each, have 2 Other 10230 Mini Modulars - displayed set, adult built one time and then put on a shelf. Took me 90 minutes just to take this set apart with all its pieces! Complete but no manuals. Instructions are readily available online. $125 21050 Architecture Studio - new in box, but box has been opened. I'm 99% sure it's complete, but I haven't found an inventory to check against. Parts are still sealed in bags. Weight matches the weight of an unopened set. $140 Un-ready This section is sets that I want to sell/trade, but aren't quite ready due to not being inventoried, missing parts, etc. But if you're interested, let me know and I can move that set to the front of the line. NXT - have the NXT Intelligent Brick w/ rechargeable battery pack, motors, sensors, cables, etc.. 10184 Town Plan - Complete, but no box. $250. Currently assembled, but if you're interested, I can disassemble and verify inventory and have it ready to ship within a few days. Here's what I'm looking for: Prices next to it are what I'm valuing it at; it may or may not be BL pricing. Usually much more willing to give higher value in trade than cash. Collectible figs: Mad scientist Crash test dummy Lawn Gnome Series 8 Actor City 7990 Cement Mixer, $15 4936 Doc and Patient, $10 7905 Tower Crane, $80 Parts Train rails - the straight single rail pieces like in 4204 Mine set. Need a bunch. 1x4 or 1x2 Tiles with danger stripes - either the yellow/black or red/white kind. Need bunches Support 31 x 13 Girder, Trapezoid. Orange or Grey, either color would work. Paying around a buck for orange, 4 for grey (I'd actually prefer orange, and if I get some in orange, then I could sell/trade the 4 grey that I already have) Train buffer single baseplate 32x32 with island with center lagoon, $4

Kingdoms Mafia - Conclusion

1 shot vig is a scummy-looking claim, but he had to here since there were so few kills. I'd suggested he claim to have used it on duvors and let the other night kills be blamed on JJP being an SK. His thought was basically to have you pick the night target and I kill them - cool idea, but there were no nights left to have fun and make that play... -

JJP - the way you tried to befriend me at the beginning, I thought at first you might be scum responding to my call. Plus, why try to ally with you? There'd have been a risk of you then revealing the scum identities to the town to re-gain their trust and win with them, considering there's less scum and therefore easier to pick off if you know who they are. So, if I could save you as a distraction to the town without getting myself suspected, great. So I fought for you. But you weren't worth risking the small scum team for... -

Thanks DF - and I was assuming the other 2 scum had some sort of investigative ability to help find me. I think you implied they had something in my PM without being specific. But that was the goal of my shoutouts, to draw their investigation and hook us up. Thanks umbra, it was fun playing with you and like DF said, good job! Way to make that fake claim work... Oh, and the choice of medium as the vengeful kill was what gave that role away. It's normal for vengeful to kill whoever placed the final vote on them, and that had been medium. If Tariq had picked someone else as the kill, it would have confused things quite a bit more. At least would have opened up the possibility of day roles and stuff. Good :) I really did want him to survive, since I knew the kills enough to believe he really was what he said. So I definitely would have rather seen a town lynched that day instead of him. Made it that much easier to make the case to save him! -
Big update and cleanup. Will be adding more bulk brick bags regularly.

Kingdoms Mafia - Conclusion

Except that on day 1 with two votes on me, I wouldn't assume I'm getting lynched. I can understand the hesitation. I MAY have claimed the vengeful part, but I wouldn't claim vig with just 2 votes on me, I don't think. Ok, went back and looked at the timeline. There was about 8 hours left when Tariq got the second vote on him - he was then tied with JJP at 2 each, and JJP was that second vote on him. I wouldn't be too worried. When Tariq was online, there was 60-90 minutes left in the day and it was still tied. Under those circumstances, odds were that JJP would be getting lynched, not him. In hindsight it's easy to say he should have claimed, but really... it was a coinflip. Having the dual roles might have made me at least claim the vengeful, but not the vig with it at those vote count. -

mostlytechnic replied to Dragonfire's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yeah, well, I think that's where the town got killed by the lack of voting - quite literally :) If there'd been a more normal level of voting occurring, you'd have known whether to claim or not much easier. -
Kingdoms Mafia - Conclusion

There wasn't a normal scumboard. Once Duvors died, DF just set up a PM between the two of us. Did anyone notice how Duvor's death scene pretty blatantly says the scum killed him? Or that rule 11 (no hints in pictures) was dropped after that? DF told us that he felt like he had to pull the rule after doing that scene since he broke the rule so badly... I said to leave the rule so that we could pass the scene off as just story if necessary, but he'd already taken the rule out. My question to the town - why SO little voting? Made it easier for us to hide / mess with you / distract with debates about whether the scum hid by voting or hid by not voting / etc... -
Kingdoms Mafia - Conclusion
mostlytechnic replied to Dragonfire's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
And something to be clear... I was the scum killer, but I was not in contact with the other scum at first. I was separated from them until either we got in touch via PM (yeah, like anyone's going to trust anyone to admit they're scum via PM) or one of the scum died. So me accidently killing Lord Duvors was a blessing in disguise. I was then in contact with Umbra, and I had the death of a scum as info to play with. That's why I was trying to get the info about who the blocker blocked to that night to be revealed - since there was apparently no scum kill night 2, if the blocker had been alive still, their target would have appeared scummy. The need to get in touch was why I made those weird calls to the assassins day 1 and 2. I was HOPING the other 2 scum would see that and figure out I was the one they were looking for, and if not, I could play it off as either just silly role play or a required flavor in my "town vanilla" role. I basically played as if I was town, so much so I was worried a few times about my mass claim idea actually working and getting us caught :) Glad it worked out, and yes, we got SUPER lucky with the day 1 results. Looking at it now, I'm very surprised Tariq didn't claim when he was getting lynched. I think the massive low voter turnout played heavily into that - normally the day 1 lynchee has a huge obvious pile of votes which drives them to claim. He didn't so it was understandable that he didn't - although in his place I likely would have claimed the vengeful part to survive the day. ESPECIALLY since with that role combo, you know you don't have to worry about getting vig killed! And the scum probably wouldn't night kill a vengeful either, worried that they'd die in the process. So a vengeful vig seems VERY powerful to me, if only he'd survived the day I think it was a pretty balanced game for being so small. 3 scum seems like a lot, but since we were separated and the neutral was actually neutral, that helped balance it out. And most importantly, thanks to DF for a fun fun fun game with a great story to work with, and the rest of you for being fun too. Can't wait for the next time... -
Kingdoms Mafia - Day Four

Yes, we do need a claim from Sir Eustace and from Berdam now. And for the record, yes, I had claimed vanilla to the sergeant before his untimely death. -

Kingdoms Mafia - Day Four
mostlytechnic replied to Dragonfire's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
No, it's an assassin hunt. No witches here. And yes, I think Sir Eustace and I are on the same side, but it's the side loyal to the king. So yes, it makes sense for us to be voting in the same direction. -
Kingdoms Mafia - Day Four
mostlytechnic replied to Dragonfire's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Wow. This is, like, some of the most exciting voting of the whole game! I still believe that Sir Eustace is loyal to the king, and therefore telling the truth. I base this on his history throughout this hunt and discussions we've been having today in private. I still believe the rest of the positions I staked out yesterday. I believe that Glanred and/or Berdam are the remaining assassins, and Rath may or may not be. So, to help push things towards a conclusion (and since no one seems to want to share any actual information today like I suggested), I will join Sir Eustace and Vote: Glanred (mencot) -

mostlytechnic replied to Dragonfire's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
But we COULD know if the people with info would share. Or if we got conflicting claims, then we'd at least have 50:50 odds of catching a scummo today. And who knows, maybe most of the town's knowledge went to the grave with Sergeant.... in which case good luck to us. -
Kingdoms Mafia - Day Four
mostlytechnic replied to Dragonfire's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Sir Eustace, here's why I'm suggesting info be made public. IF you're the investigator, then you wouldn't have investigated yourself last night and should have a result on someone else. If you're not and are telling the truth about being cleared, then again, there should be 2 cleared people. In either case, I would know who the scum are since I know I'm town as well (assuming I'm not the other cleared person). See, telling us the info would make it obvious who the scum are. Berdam, your logic is pretty sound except for one thing. You're ignoring the chance that Sergeant was the investigator and blocked on night 1 or cleared someone and didn't share that info. Either is completely possible - in which case we are investigator-less. If Sir Eustace is scum, they could have role-copped the sergeant and thereby be making a "safe" fake claim now. In all this, I'm assuming that we have a lynch and the scum have a kill and that's it - no vig or SK, at least still alive, since we haven't seen other deaths. In that case, even with 3 town and 2 scum still alive, we win as long as we lynch a scum each day. We simply have to be ABSOLUTELY SURE we lynch scum, which requires information, since we have a 0% track record so far... I'm not placing any votes yet because "reads" and "feelings" aren't enough anymore. We must KNOW. I don't trust anyone here completely, so I'm not comfortable with such a small group (and probably half of you being scum) claiming to a single person. I believe it would be more effective and safer to claim publicly. In the meantime, I'll keep poking people to see reactions, since I suspect you (plural) are not going to agree with me and so we'll have to go with gut feelings and risk losing. Glanred, your thoughts? Rath, any other thoughts on the discussion? No one should be quiet any more - this is life and death! -

My "obsession" with you you mean? I haven't even accused you of anything all day yet! And what actions? My attempts to hunt the assassins? Is that what confuses you, you assassin? Oh wait, now I've gone and accused you. If you don't want to share info now, fine, don't. I just think it's the most effective thing at this point. Sure, two scum could vouch for each other, but what are the odds of them pulling that off vs whatever info the town has? If a PR is dead, hopefully someone in the town knows that and could refute them. This whole game's been quiet, so there's not a lot of discussion to go on, so I'm trying to get anything going so that we have SOMETHING to base a lynch on. And a no-lynch day is NOT an option, since if there's 2 scum, they'd just have to kill again tonight to tie things up and thereby win. (I'm assuming the vig is dead since there was no kill last night, but I suppose there's a chance we still have a vig who was blocked) I don't know that you're not the investigator. I know I am not, but I have no idea who is. According to you, YOU are the one who was investigated last night. Are you an assassin getting confused by the stories you're telling? Sergeant was the night 1 investigation, Fitz was night 2, and you were night 3. That's all been said publicly. At this point I think it's well worth risking the life of the investigator or other PR. There's a very good chance there is only tonight left, and that if we lynch wrong, we may not even GET tonight. So outing a PR is worth it if it narrows down the scumlist.
