  1. Thanks! Yep, I've seen that as I posted it. I'll change it when i order the tiles for the Prelogy.
  2. Hi, I started taking care of my Star Wars Minifigs earlier this year, after seing them gathering dust in a corner. Eventually, I started collecting them by buying a few sets that were still available. My goal here is not to get them all, but rather to get every important character in the trilogies. I've rounded them to about a hundred per trilogy so far. I also want to present them in the form of a frame that'll eventually get on a wall. Here is my progress so far, with the original trilogy. There are two types of engraved tiles : black 1x4 with the name and round flat silver 1x1 with the episode the Minifig appears in. The background will eventually be completely covered with scenes/decor from which the Minifigs are from (as seen with the Death Star in the upper left corner). I've rendered a first test of this: With the following legend: I don't plan to hunt for old sets, I'll get whatever comes out from now on. I also have a few minifigs planned that have never been Lego-ified at this point. There will also be a separate frame with the beasts. For the original trilogy: a Tauntaun, a Wampa, a Dewback and a Rancor. Please leave a comment and tell me what you think. I've made an article on my website that I keep updated with my progress: http://bj51creations...collection.html Thank you for reading.
  3. IMHO, Not enough people will try to build Akiyuki's creation for the price to change that much.
  4. Lego still makes them: there were about 12 of each in a 30kg box of parts given by Lego for an event a few weeks ago.
  5. Wow, that'd be awesome! I started rendreing it in LDraw but couldn't find the suspension arms, so I quickly stopped.
  6. The parts list is now available: http://rebrickable.com/mocs/bj51/lmp1-car Build away! :)
  7. The instructions are available here: http://bj51creations.blogspot.fr/2015/04/moc-lmp1-car.html Direct link: http://imgur.com/a/E4feb#0 The parts list should be available shortly, as soon as Rebrickable approves the MOC. I'll update with the link. Please leave a feedback if you attempt to build it.
  8. During my Dark Age, I still bought a few sets (and I'm glad I did today) such as the 599 GTB or the Ferrari F1 1:8. But the set that got me out of it was the Unimog, in 2013.
  9. Exceptionnal MOC ! Love the inside of th cockpit, very detailed.
  10. What 14t gear are you guys talking about ? The only 14t gear I know of is this one:
  11. Instructions Beta-testing in progress...
  12. Love the design and the integration of the PFS elements. Very nice MOCs !
  13. Make a small rechargeable brick and it will be worth it. Here, you still have an external battery, which, if you build something small, will be noticeable.
  14. Seriously, go to Bricklink/Rebrickable/Briskset/some other Lego website and see for yourself. Rebrickable even did a review a few months ago listing the differences. That's like one google query away.
  15. Thanks a lot ! I'll try to make instructions next week !
  16. Can't wait to see this, seeing that I love both that ship and Pneumatic!
  17. It's very early. I'll create a topic when I have something to show. For the moment, I have the scale roughly figured out and started working on the axles (suepension, transmission, steering...).
  18. I'd like to see a nice GTR MOC as well.
  19. Hey, I'm following this as well. I just started my own project of a large-scale mobile crane, with 12 unimog wheels.
  20. Very nice project that I discover just now. I have a project for a mobile crane (with bigger wheels), so this is very interesting.
  21. I can't say i'm too hyped about this car. Most panel placements are great but some aren't, like that big bump at the front. The door opening/closing also seems very slow to operate, with those worm gears. And I seem to be the only one that find that vertical gearbox odd. It's very well put together and seems to work quite fine, but it seems to me that it's a gearbox for the sake of putting a gearbox, whatever the cost to the design. I don't know if I make myself clear. I like refined mechanisms in a Lego Technic model, but I also care about the way they're implemented, and in this aspect, this gearbox is off, to me.
  22. Thanks everyone. After I show it at a local expo on May the 1st, I'll consider doing a photo sequence as instructions. These'll be my first.
  23. Brilliant implementation, very effective design.
