  1. That is one really expensive item, 10$ each! wow I think I will take two smaller ones and put them one near the other as an alternative. Thanks, Noam
  2. Hi, That is big wheel at the back, can you tell me what it is its part number? I can't open the LXF file on my Ubuntu :( Thanks, Noam
  3. Actually you can get it elsewhere, not just S@H, you can find it online stores (amazon, target, etc) as well as other toy stores which sell them. Apparently the only place you can't find it is in the Retail-LEGO store :) Thanks, Noam
  4. Hi, Very nicely done. I wish a LDD was available to make reproduction easier :) Thanks, Noam
  5. Looks nice, but it is Windows online - can't use it on at home.
  6. Hi, I actually heard similar things, i.e. that they aren't shipping any NXT boxes to the stores, but the reason was different: "They decided to start selling them directly off their online store" This was from a LEGO employee at a USA (Philadelphia) store. I don't think NXT 3.0 is coming out, NXT 2.0 is quite "new" and they would probably wait for FLL to end (end of March) before announcing a new model - as it might create confusion and problems for the judges - assuming NXT 3.0 is better than NXT 2.0 (otherwise why release it?) Thanks, Noam
  7. Hi, Thanks for the help. After some hours spent, I was able to get them all by modifying the color of the items :) It would have been nice if there was a way to "change" the color to the most available one :] Thanks, Noam
  8. Hi, I am trying to use bricklink to buy the parts needed for the wheels: Mecanum Wheel Number 1: 32013 Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Angled #1 (1+1+4+6 ea.) 3705 Technic, Axle 4L (6 ea.) 3713 Technic Bush (1 ea.) 4185 Technic Wedge Belt Wheel (Pulley) (4 ea.) 4265c Technic Bush 1/2 Smooth (13 ea.) 43093 Technic, Axle Pin with Friction Ridges Lengthwise (12+12 ea.) 6015 Tire Offset Tread Small Wide (6 ea.) 6536 Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Perpendicular (12 ea.) x1739 Technic, Axle 8L with Stop (1 ea.) 42610 Wheel 11 x 8 mm with Center Groove (6 ea.) I have created using Brickstore an XML to buy: <INVENTORY> <ITEM> <ITEMID>32013</ITEMID> <ITEMTYPE>P</ITEMTYPE> <COLOR>11</COLOR> <MINQTY>12</MINQTY> <CONDITION>N</CONDITION> </ITEM> <ITEM> <ITEMID>3705</ITEMID> <ITEMTYPE>P</ITEMTYPE> <COLOR>11</COLOR> <MINQTY>6</MINQTY> <CONDITION>N</CONDITION> </ITEM> <ITEM> <ITEMID>3713</ITEMID> <ITEMTYPE>P</ITEMTYPE> <COLOR>11</COLOR> <MINQTY>1</MINQTY> <CONDITION>N</CONDITION> </ITEM> <ITEM> <ITEMID>4185</ITEMID> <ITEMTYPE>P</ITEMTYPE> <COLOR>11</COLOR> <MINQTY>4</MINQTY> <CONDITION>N</CONDITION> </ITEM> <ITEM> <ITEMID>4265c</ITEMID> <ITEMTYPE>P</ITEMTYPE> <COLOR>11</COLOR> <MINQTY>13</MINQTY> <CONDITION>N</CONDITION> </ITEM> <ITEM> <ITEMID>43093</ITEMID> <ITEMTYPE>P</ITEMTYPE> <COLOR>11</COLOR> <MINQTY>24</MINQTY> <CONDITION>N</CONDITION> </ITEM> <ITEM> <ITEMID>6015</ITEMID> <ITEMTYPE>P</ITEMTYPE> <COLOR>11</COLOR> <MINQTY>6</MINQTY> <CONDITION>N</CONDITION> </ITEM> <ITEM> <ITEMID>6536</ITEMID> <ITEMTYPE>P</ITEMTYPE> <COLOR>11</COLOR> <MINQTY>12</MINQTY> <CONDITION>N</CONDITION> </ITEM> <ITEM> <ITEMID>x1739</ITEMID> <ITEMTYPE>P</ITEMTYPE> <COLOR>11</COLOR> <MINQTY>1</MINQTY> <CONDITION>N</CONDITION> </ITEM> <ITEM> <ITEMID>42610</ITEMID> <ITEMTYPE>P</ITEMTYPE> <COLOR>99</COLOR> <MINQTY>6</MINQTY> <CONDITION>N</CONDITION> </ITEM> </INVENTORY> When I placed this on bricklink, I couldn't quite figure out how to now locate one store that had all the components? Can someone help? Thanks, Noam
  9. Nice build and design, and to find out you like Taekwondo too!? wow two in one post ;)
  10. That is very nice concept, I see you have changed the excavator's arm pretty heavily. Thanks, Noam
  11. Change the BMP images to PNG, its a waste to have to download a BMP when a PNG would have looked just as good. The file size reduction is staggering... 1.1M of BMP becomes 46K of PNG with little to no visible loss of quality.
  12. Hi, Wow that is that bending flex cable I asked about a few posts back! :) A wonderful use for it. Very nice construction. Thanks, Noam
  13. Very nice model, true to the original, and the color scheme is a very nice one as well
  14. Hi It is great see how the prototype in mixed colors became all blue like the original, good thing we have BL for the rescue, otherwise most mocs' colors would be off. Hurray for the effort, nicely done Thanks, Noam
  15. Hi Anyone knows why these are no longer in use? have tons of them :) but no sets appear to use them anymore: ? Also they used be heavily used with which also has gone MIA Thanks, Noam
  16. Hi, The parts are combination, I don't believe you can use any of them without the other 2, or at least you need two of this set, as they are the connectors :) Thanks, Noam
  17. just finished building 8043

  18. Hi, Has anyone used this particular item in anything beside the original chopper it comes with? (items: 6643, 6642, bb08c06L) It looks pretty unique, but has quite nice features, especially if you are looking to build a flight slim of some sort, I know there was a thread about that a few days ago. Thanks, Noam
  19. Hi, Is this based on the Off Roader (8297)? I mean the parts set :) not the idea... Thanks, Noam
  20. Hi, Am I the only guy that noticed that v4 is out? :) If you didn't know it is out :) Thanks, Noam
  21. Hi, I believe the problem is in the LEGO model, not the carpet, it makes no sense (even in real life it could happen) for the gears to be exposed, the undercarriage where the gears are should covered/protected. Thanks, Noam
  22. I agree that the carpet might need "fixing" but I am not sure my wife would agree :) Thanks, Noam
  23. Hi, Has anyone tried to close that section of? the current configuration means I cannot run it over the "standard hair" version of the IKEA carpet ;) as the hairs get tangled, that is just annoying :) Maybe an alternative would be to make a Wheeled version? has anyone tried to convert the 8043 into a wheeled excavator? Thanks, Noam
  24. After building 8043 A model and B model, I have to say: 1) A model's bucket arm is too long and heavy, making it visibly slow when it raises and sluggish when you put any weight there - yes I am talking post-service pack 2) B model's bucket arms are too straight to be usable, I believe real diggers have a curve? to make it a bit more usable in close proximity to the object you are trying to dig Overall I think the B-model is a better one, though A is a much more eye pleasing and awe generating model :) Thanks, Noam
  25. Hi, I found brickstore not relevant to me, as I have no intention of buying or selling parts, so it shoots in the wrong direction for me and makes it very hard for me to keep track of my inventory. Use http://www.basebrick.com/, I think it will let you do what you wanted. Thanks, Noam
