  1. That is so cool :) And I really like your back shelf with all those LEGO sets :) Thanks, Noam
  2. Hi, That is both practical and funny :) Practical => that multi direction movement is very interesting, could you provide a diagram for the hinges and cogs used? Funny => he wasn't too good at it, I think some secret sauce (super glue) would have made him a much better player at this game :) Thanks, Noam
  3. The first MOC I believe to have every parts expect the Remote transmitter and receiver!! yeppi! BTW: You can increase the size of the Youtube movie, but the quality doesn't improve as original isn't HD
  4. Hi, I just finished building it, and I am wondering what would be the steps to motorize it, i.e. to allow steering and movement of the car. I have seen several YouTube movies, pictures, but I am too newbie at this point to make ends meet. Any body can give some advice how to start with this model, or provide some generic advice that I can use? Thanks, Noam
  5. Very nicely done and some neat ideas... BTW: If you use chrome, when you visit the France site it will offer up an automatic (inline) translation. Thanks, Noam
  6. Those poor lego people, did you ask them whether they wanted to hop on or not, I assume you just put them in and started spinning them!! Thanks :) Noam
  7. Thanks, For some reason it wasn't showing up when I queried, the link worked though :) Thank you :) Noam Now that there is options :) Would you guys recommend buying the IR Remote or the IR Speed Remote? Thanks, Noam
  8. I think the blind building contest is the best one. You (organizer) could take a simple set, prepare a transparent plastic box (big), put a cover (from paper/dark plastic) over the top, with two holes for the hands to go through. This would allow the audience to see, while the builder to not Could be quite funny and fun :) Thanks, Noam
  9. Hi, I have been trying to get a hold of any of these inside standard LEGO kits, but I found it to be quite difficult. Beside buying them separately, i.e. Used from bricklink, anyone with an idea where you can get IR Receiver ( http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/58123cx1 ) / Transmitter ( http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/58122cx ) kits? I don't see the LEGO site listing them in any form. Am I missing something? Thanks, Noam
  10. Hi, I keep getting errors when I try to visit http://technic.lego.com, anyone else see this? Thanks, Noam
  11. Truly amazing, as the rest of your designs. I asked this before, but it didn't work out :) Can you provide a list of parts in a text file with the corresponding part numbers? The picture based list is very hard to match against what I have available, especially with the more complex parts which apparently I don't have :)
  12. Hi, Thanks for the information, I will get my hands on the missing pieces and I will try to do something similar to the Hauler design. If it doesn't work, I will switch :)
  13. Hi, Has anyone put in place a site where a regular dude like me :) can go and look for designs that will allow: 1) Gear scale 2) Gear that do Left/Right turns 3) Allow lifting of X (forklift, bucket, etc) What I do today is look up at the instructions of existing designs and see how they do it, but I was wondering if there is a place where someone has put this as a design selector? Thanks, Noam
  14. Hi, So any idea how I can put this 60c01 item in? Or an alternative? I thought of maybe doing a switch that will detect I reached the "end" or the "beginning" and will stop the engine?
  15. Is that filmed in Israel? :) I think I recognize the place :D
  16. Hi, Are you sure of it? In the post - with the similar issue - he mentions it is damaging the LA.
  17. Hi, I built the 8264 Hauler for my son, he is quite young, so he doesn't really understand the damage caused to the LA when it reaches the end/beginning and continues working (the cluck cluck sound). I saw that there is proposal on how to fix it for the 8052 model, I would appriciate if someone could offer one for 8264. Thanks in advance, Noam
  18. This switch has - apparently - two states? If so, it doesn't really extend the limit, unless you can use two switches in an opposite/complement mode - so that you are essentially creating a XOR bridge (A on B off => A on, A off and B on => B on).
  19. Hi, Thanks for the tip, I got it at the price at a local store - just called in and ordered it. They said it was back ordered but they will get it to me from another store :)
  20. Ok, good to know, is there any other way to do it? are there LEGO approved electrical switches? that in theory would be a lot more easier to extend then a gear switch
  21. Hi, I saw a few posts that discussed "Use all 4 IR receivers" which appears to a be a limit, I don't have so many, and I am not yet skilled enough to do it, but I think that engineering wise there shouldn't be any limit. Here is why: You could use on of those IR receivers to be your "switching" guy, i.e. it moves a mechanical "something" that allows you to extend those 3 other channels to do more than just 3 things, for example, move a gear from one place to another which will shift a different axle Has anyone thought, used or tried this out? Thanks, Noam
  22. Hi, Amazing work man! I am very impressed The color of the legs can be fixed with custom bricks, or redone bricks, but I think that is a minor issue at this point I think the wobbling is occurring as there is more than one foot above the floor at a time and not enough weight on the model to make sure that the other feet stay on the floor Can you try to add additional weight?
