  1. I'm super excited for the movie and its sets! Maybe we'll get a new comic-styled Alfred! If we did get a collectible minifigure series for the movie, do you think we'd see a bunch of Batsuits? New versions of prereleased characters? New characters altogether?
  2. I think it's about how much dual-moulded legs cost. Cycle chase could have included three sets of dual legs, with all three characters having that potential, but it would be too expensive to produce in a $20 set. Notice how Kryptonite Interception is the cheapest set to get Batsy's boots, and it is $30. Not to mention how dual molding plus printing only seems to happen on the collectible minifigures; Wonder Woman could have had dual legs in the exact same color as Superman in Sky High Battle, but since they were printing on her legs, they went with one-color legs instead.
  3. I'd like seeing "Battle Damaged" variants of the characters' standard suits. Rips, tears, dirt, the like.
  4. That's pretty spot on! I doubt I'll modify mine, since I like it despite the inaccuracies, but if I do I'll probably look here for inspiration first!
  5. This is a cool idea.
  6. The torso will be deciding for me on Lex. I was lucky enough to get the original armored Lex from Gamestop surplus months after Lego Batman 2, so I don't need the armor. However, I do wish it was either a standard or a dark green.
  7. Certainly interesting despite the junior-riffic nature. Shame we still haven't seen Lex under his patented AvocadArmor. Also, why is Lex suddenly Bruce Wayne in all of the sets? What's wrong with the old Lex faces? Was Loki Wayne not enough?
  8. I would be okay with this being real. While Lego tends to not just recolor torsos, they do reuse basic prints (most often muscles) and sometimes specific detailing (yellow-ovaled batsymbol). Since Nightwing wears no belt and has a relatively consistent design across the board, this is more plausible than some recolors would look. Of course, since this is also something I am able to do with only the most basic photoshopping skills, this could also just be a very good custom. So take this fig with a grain of salt.
  9. I myself am partial to a Ford Pinto build, complete with raging inferno. ...something tells me this is the least likely car to get a set. :D
  10. This may be the best minifig scale Tumbler I've seen! Incredible!
  11. We were neglected on a few great scenes the first time around. I'd love a Sallah, Marcus Brody, and Grail Knight inclusive set from Crusade. The tank would be nice too, but I can see how Lego would be a little more iffy on making it happen.
  12. I am absolutely dying for some Ra's Al Ghul news. Does anyone know how previous store exclusives were revealed? Were there just pictures released at an arbitrary point in time, or did they show off sets somewhere?
  13. He actually may become my favorite bigfig when I have him in hand. Sorry, Grodd!!!
  14. Freaky, and very well done! Bane's tiny head disconcerns me a little, but I have no idea how that could be avoided. Two awesome builds!
  15. I'm seeing Walmart's online price for Sky High Battle about $52, so I intend to pick it up very soon. I missed Target's $50 by a slim margin; I was in the very day they bumped up the price.
  16. The super jumper features were the worst. I wound up modifying the sets to get rid of them immediately after building. Braniac's ship having an unclipped-in ray gun was the most egregious. The stupid thing would just fall out whenever you moved the ship!
  17. The physical figure is actually a tad different from the cartoon. Most noticeably the batsymbol on the buckle and the detailed boots.
  18. While it isn't the light blue I was hoping for, the pirate Batman is great, and a must have! And a few days back I was one of the few defending it. :P
  19. I understand the Mickey, Minnie, and Donald characters for a Disney line... but why Daisy Duck? Does she really have that much of a fanbase? I'd have rather gotten Elastagirl, or Joy or Sadness, or even another one of the princesses (Mulan, perhaps). I hate how the Toy Story Alien is included here. At least Buzz has a new head from his old figure.
  20. Those eyes though! :D
  21. In general, the Spider-Man 2 sets were fairly accurate (although Ock's macguffin machines were more colorful in the sets), but I remember Doc Ock's hideout randomly added Harry Osborn and his speedboat to come to the rescue, which obviously did not happen in the movie. Child me was somewhat disappointed when that didn't happen.
  22. I think I prefer this Batman with black-hipped legs. Since I've only been able to find Bat/Cat, I haven't been able to experiment around with the others yet, but I think I'll leave Robin short. What legs are used on the Bane in the pictures?
  23. I think it's a venom tube, similar to the earlier figure.
  24. Agreed. The black suit is probably the "Jack Sparrow" of this line, and the New 52 is starting to get that way too. Lego is obviously going to stick with him, since that's the best economic decision, so I prefer switching it up.
