  1. You know, I can see it. I'm looking at the close-up pics, and though I can't guarantee which yellow he uses, it's a very accurate yellow for his costume.
  2. Ooooooohhhhhhhh booyyyyyyyyyyyyyy I am hyped. First off, New Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and Flash look amazing! I really love the Rebirth looks (admittedly, the Flash's costume didn't really change, so it's still New 52ish, but that's also true in Rebirth, so I'll let it pass), and the subtle details are incredible! I hope that Batman becomes the "default" one they stick in 30573578 sets for a while; I'm not a huge fan of the black-and-yellow "Troika" batsuit we've gotten way too many of in the first place, and the New 52 fig feels a little too "cluttered" with the detail, the way Star Wars figs got for a while. Strange that Superman didn't get an update. And the new Firestorm is exactly what I wanted it to be! If you ask me, Jason Rusch was always 237% the best Firestorm, so I'm glad it's him. I would've been a-okay with Ronnie, but this is just too good to be true. And that Krypto is a good balance of not-too-cartoonish. And the villains! Reverse Flash fits perfectly against either the original or the new Flash minifig, and I'm so glad he got his red eyes; I was worried they'd normal-eye him. Killer Frost's hairpiece is odd, although I feel like they were basing it off of a particular look out there, but the rest of her is on point, so I'll just swap a different hairpiece in and be happy with it. New Lex armors are always nice, but I wish they'd stop using the Bruce Wayne head. The original face he had, though subtly different, was so much better for Lex. Cheetah's pretty good, and it's nice to have a Wonder Woman villain minifig finally. And that Lobo, especially grinning, captures him perfectly. Even the builds are decent, though some better than others. Nope. Lobo may be big, especially next to someone like Harley Quinn, but he's still in the "normal human size" zone.
  3. It's probably good I didn't see this earlier, as if I had I would have probably headed straight to my local target just to be disappointed by an guaranteed inevitable lack of the set on the shelf. That's just how I roll.
  4. They do seem to. That's why you see figs like Catman and vacation Batman with dual legs, but in-set figs like Tarantula have plain black legs in-set when she had boots in the movie.
  5. Just read Gerard Way's first run on Doom Patrol, after having finished Grant Morrison's run a little while back. Metal Men: Full Metal Jacket, originally published in the Legends of Tomorrow ensemble comics, was great, but the Firestorm and Metamorpho books were rather lackluster. Thoroughly enjoyed several Rebirth collections: Green Arrow's, Deathstroke's, and Detective Comic's first books, and Tom King's first Two Batman books (Bane has never been scarier while naked) Still working through Injustice: Year Five's reprints. Finished Azzarello's New 52 Wonder Woman run, and liked it quite a bit, and Paul Levitz's Doctor Fate, which was mostly well-done. Finally, started working on reading Image Comic's Sex Criminals. It's not what it sounds like. Very good so far.
  6. Finally caught Alien: Covenant at my local second-run theater. Pretty decent; as a standalone film, it would've been a little more lacking, but as part of a long-running franchise we've already seen before, it was a fairly good expansion. Not quite enough time horror-ing and a smidgen too much time thinking out loud, if you ask me.
  7. I wonder how many characters we'll get from older sets and waves in addition to movie characters. Also, what are the odds of characters from the previous two Lego movies appearing?
  8. My guess is that it will have a more open level structure, where you can take on certain levels whenever you want, similar to the pre-Harry Potter games. You'll probably have a few that you have to start with, and then most can be done fairly freeform, and then a final one or two once the rest have been completed.
  9. For the people wondering, Batman has, on occasions, shared Captain Boomerang as a villain. Most prominently, one of the Boomerangs (don't remember which) killed Tim Drake's father.
  10. I was honestly never a fan of the Lego Batman 2 Flash. The mask was too bucket-y, even compared to the already bucket-y type-1 cowl Batman had at the time.
  11. Taking a hiatus from my month+ nonstop Injustice 2 to play through Dishonored 2. Nonlethal playthrough this time.
  12. The Lego Group doesn't seem to base designs off of the games after the fact. Lego Batman 3 did have a few figures that appeared identically after the game came out, but I vaguely remember around that time that the release of a couple of the DC waves had been switched around, so the figures had already been designed for physical sets by that point.
  13. I'd wager that we'll probably see Green Arrow. No sources or anything, just my gut feeling.
  14. She surprised me as one of my favorite minifigs of the line, something I wasn't expecting. I swapped the face with the previous face her minifigs used as my favorite combo, and it also allows one of the old style duplicates a way to stand out.
  15. What kinda round did we get for DC this time??? Everyone's generic or Mighty Micros! This is fun! I look forward to each new round!
  16. I dunno, but I just got it for $111 a few days back on Amazon.
  17. I got one last year, let's see if I can succeed now! DC: Dr. Poison Marvel: Dr. Doom's Iron Man suit
  18. Amazon has the ultimate Batmobile $20 off, so I ordered it. Don't know if I'll keep any of the additional vehicles built, but the main Batmobile part itself is so incredible. Thankfully, it gets delivered my next day off from work!
  19. "Exclusive" Batgirl with the movie, "exclusive" Penguin with the book... I really hope they're including less-than-stellar figs here to use better ones in the future stuff.
  20. They will gradually reveal the roster across their twitter up until release, if it's anything like previous games.
  21. Nice Blues Brothers reference. However, I suspect they won't be in the mighty micros.
  22. I like this variant. The stubble, presumably the same as will be on the other upcoming version, is very nice.
  23. Same. Classic Ollie is delightful!
  24. I probably should've used the real names. Boomie was Captain Boomerang, and yes, Hugo Strange is reported as CMF.
  25. Yes, we can expect the two. Boomie is expected in a smaller set and Tweety is a CMF.
