  1. Lind yawned. "Talk is cheap."Kid, I'll take you on any day." He cocked his eyelid a minute. "Heck, I'll even let you have first turn. Heck, you know what? I'm generous - You can attack me first two times, before I do anything. And if you muss one of them, you can roll again." "Maybe even three times, if it isn't going so well for you..."
  2. "Ah. The things you don't know about the people you work with...."
  3. I wonder if the "1 Nexo Power" on the cover will itself be exclusive, or not? I don't believe there's any real precedence for that sort of thing, unlike the minifigs... Has anyone made a list of all of the shields that have been seen so far?
  4. "Ah, well, that's your choice." "Oh?" "You get what jobs you can get, these days. Jobs are so rare, being picky doesn't pay, unless you have some really specific end in mind - and even then, it still doesn't really pay."
  5. It's not the quest length, it's whether or not I'll have Internet... And if I don't, when I will have it again...
  6. Lind yawned. "If we have to rely on you to see when there's danger...well, I wouldn't be sleeping too comfortably." He stretched, and suddenly saw the quest board. He leaped to his feet, and looked at the board. "Hi! Alderflask! Skrall! Gabriel needs some help finding..." He squinted. "A present, for...his brother, I guess. Pay's 70 gold, so not grand, but it's work, and it's a job - and we'd get a lovely little vacation in the fresh Eubric Mountain air."
  7. *salutes* Yes sir.
  8. Maybe include a "nice" Youtube link of music, in conjunction with the mention?
  9. Hmm... Not sure if I'm terribly psyched about that change. Ah, well, it's better than if Ninjago had changed monkey molds. The wings look close enough, I suppose, and I'm glad we have them in new colors.
  10. Agreed.Khaled, I have no idea of your exact political stance, your exact country, or your exact lineage. Neither do I care. If you're a friendly person, and you behave like a friendly person, that is far and beyond enough for me, and should be far and enough for most anyone.
  11. I was not commenting on "whether it was in his head or not". Yes. Agreed.
  12. I want to sign up for #143, and spend some more time hanging with Sandman - I mean, Gabriel - but I don't know if my schedule will permit.
  13. He said that he was feeling like a moderator was "prejudiced" against him. As you said, there is nothing on his account to indicate where he lives. I was suggesting that if he wanted to cut down on even more possible causes of "prejudice," he could change his username to one that's just generically LEGO-themed, and in no way suggests ethnicity, race, or lineage.
  14. Got it. That makes...a lot more sense. From a historical context, "sending someone to the chamber"...well, it evokes a rather different sort of chamber. Honestly, I'd vote for switching the tag back to "Bad Kids," and referring to it specifically as the "Torture Chamber" - it'd avoid future mistakes between the two types of chambers. Just out of my own experience, I've never seen any of the moderators treat adult-behaving members like they were children. Although I have - and, at times, have probably behaved as one myself - seen many members act like children - although the moderators in those cases still treat them with full politeness. It's up to you...but you could just change your name to something generically LEGO-themed. My viewpoint is occasionally a good bit more conservative than the other members of Eurobricks, but that doesn't have anything to do with how I like to "play", so my name doesn't have anything to do with my political opinions. I'm not here to pitch a political stance, I'm here to engage with a good community that loves LEGO, so that's what my name reflects.
  15. I'm mostly just glad that we're finally getting full-size dragon wings in new colors. Before, they've always been some mixture of black/dark red/red, or else they're from very expensive sets to acquire. Now we're getting all sorts of new colors at a very affordable price point.
  16. Great review! A very nice set, one of the few in which the alt mode actually looks better than the normal. I'll jump in here ahead of Aanichir, and say that technically, it was only the minifigure for Invizable that was featured in the series. The character in the show was somewhat different than the one from the toy line, being named Paleman, and being an Elemental Master of Light. However, his definitive backstory was left blank, so it could very easily be head-cannoned in that they are the same character. (Aanichir will probably disagree with me on that last one, but if Zane, a Nindroid with no parents, can somehow be an Elemental Master, I'd argue that it's possible for Elemental powers to be gained through means other than lineage.)
  17. They're definitely stickers, at least one - look at the Trans-Yellow shield. (Also, new Trans-Yellow piece! ) The top of the print is too far to the right to be a misprint - that can only be a misplaced sticker.
  18. That's why I suggested starting a team. Very few people can make a game by themselves, but a team can do surprising things. What about a game based on one of the graphic novels? They exist alongside the canon story, and although I've only read the Amazon samples, they don't seem to contradict anything.(Yes, I do have a particular one in mind, that'd make an excellent adaption to game format...)
  19. Yep. They're basically Chima Speedorz, without the Speedorz.
  20. Bricklink lists the first sprue-style shurikens as having been released during 2015.
  21. They did get a new molding for the Airjitsu wave, though, one where they are now two on a sprue.
  22. Is that the rumored dual-same-side-tilted katana armor piece? That's actually going to be a thing?
  23. They're trying to do the same thing as they did with the Ninjago spinners; they'll probably be at least $9.99 each. No.
  24. Actually, no, it was just a re-use of one of the egg pieces from Galaxy Squad. I'm not sure if it was the tall one, or the short one, but it was definitely one of the two.
