  1. Darn. Still no lightsaber hilt in brown.
  2. If you scroll down to page 17, it looks like we'll be getting 3 new color combinations of LEGO (Bat-man style, not classic) two-shade dragon wings next year! (Lime green/green, Medium azure/purple, yellow orange/what looks like is trans-pink.) EDIT: Bigger versions. Also, all of them come with a new pre-molded dragon head mold. Re-EDIT: Edited out links because of rules regarding prelim-catalog pictures.
  3. Classic monkey mold. And finally a dragon for Cole that actually has wings.
  4. Well, if you aren't a fan of LEGO's current offerings, why not try and start up a team for creating a fan-made game? There's a plethora of resources out there for it, and I'm sure you could find at least a small team of (skilled) fans willing to join up and help out.
  5. Just for general reference, it is possible to join in person, while being on a quest - see Guts's and Atramor's posts.
  6. Actually, there's no rules dictating when and where a hero needs to be to sign up - people just haven't been signing up.
  7. "And that's why we have to be extra careful of anyone who might be aligned with demons. And shame on you for not being the first person here to recognize that." "Let me see, I follow the rules, follow the rules, and follow the rules, whereas you elected for the group to break them whenever you wanted to. So, if I'm "half-way there," you must already be a full-blooded Neph, by that logic." The black knight shook his head, and poured himself a second glass of water. "Darn. There goes my summer vacation."
  8. I forget the exact status of the game, but I believe many of those differences are (in-game) explained away due to
  9. How are cats connected to ice? Also, Jay's animal kind of breaks their elemental powers as being a terribly good reference guide. If it were an eel, it would follow that pattern, (electric eel) but not terribly many people think "octopus" when they think of "electric-elemental animal". But either way, it definitely looks like it's some sort of borrowing animal - those two little nubs look extremely like incisors.
  10. I could see that. My first guess as to what Cole's animal would be, was "Gorilla," since Gorillas have become short-hand for "generically strong". But looking at his symbol head-on - literally - I'm almost wondering if it isn't some kind of mouse. (Apologies if the image is too big.) This isn't the best example, but there are definitely at least some similarities - and there'd be the humor of "Ha-ha, the tough guy's animal is a mouse," which seems like it'd be a bit par for LEGO's course. (For the skull buffs, yes, I do get the example mouse skull I provided is a rat skull, not a mouse skull, but still.)
  11. Are there any other pictures of it? It looks like it'd be a fascinating reverse-engineering project...
  12. He certainly looks like he could have been an inspiration. Or, Nadakhan lets them wish for their golden weapons as part of some elaborate plan to "destroy the ninja," and they safely escape from his fiendish plan, both not destroyed, and with the weapons completely intact. That'd be a pretty typical Ninjago-style solution to the problem.
  13. Also, the red arm mentioned earlier is absent on the latest picture...
  14. Possibly a Disney-reboot C3PO reference? I believe the tile print is a little cameo usage of the classic Ninjago "Red Ninja Wrap" art, like the trading cards we saw in the last wave were a cameo of the early trading cards. (Also, it seems to have something to do with the Ninjas being trapped in the swords, but it's a nice little cameo. ) That's actually the part I'm most hyped about. Too many parts get needlessly "updated," and it's wonderful to see the classic monkey isn't undergoing that. Is anyone else hoping that the New Reddish Brown lightsaber hilt on the flagstaff is finally going to make it into a set in that color? Also, looking at the art, primarily at the lower left-hand corner - are those islands floating, or are they being ripped out of the ground, a la Avengers: AoU?
  15. "Oh, really? Then, since I don't know anything about how the Hall was invaded by demon-possessed heroes, intent on murdering or converting everyone in the Hall, why don't you fill us in? Hall records show you were there during that siege."
  16. "Why don't you ask Jinnipher? She was there when it happened."
  17. "Yeah, it's not like the Hall's ever been under attack by a dangerous demonic creature before, that caused enough bloodshed to warrant people keeping an eye out for any chances of such an event re-occurring." Lind looked pointedly at Jinnipher. Lind calmly sipped at a glass of water, making no effort to put his Netherwings away.
  18. "I was expecting her to answer a perfectly reasonable question - e.g., answering exactly why she traded a man's life-force with a demon for food."
  19. Lind just shakes his head in wonderment. "It's the truth." He shrugged and smiled. He grunted, and slid Gladius back down into his scabbard. "Is it just me, or does this new crowd of heroes have no respect for good gear, anymore?"He stretched and shook his head. "I suppose I should get in there and try and explain to Terrance what was going on. I'll leave y'all to your conversation." Lind entered the Hall. "Nope, she ignored a weapon that could have shattered her into small pieces, and breezed past us. Either very gutsy, or very stupid, on her part..."
  20. "Quite. I'd list Karie as a very clever person. She can be a bit grumpy, and a bit terse, but she is never oafish." "Oh, you're friends with Tholar too?" "Maybe we should move this to the Albatross. I bet I can talk Sandman into letting us use his room, so no one else bothers us. "...I am not liking the sound of the experiment part of that." "...You traded a man's life-force for food with a demon?" Lind looked at Calamity with askance, and wrinkled up his forehead. "That...that is not good."He stepped around behind her, and carefully pointed Gladius towards the small of her back. "Don't try running away. I can literally kill you just by tapping you with this. Answer Karie's questions. Or, wait till everyone's tucked away in a room at the Albatross, if she would prefer that." OoC: Scubacarrot, you need to update your Stats.
  21. The black knight nodded greetings to the mage, who had joined the group outside the Hall.
  22. "I am courting the lady, yes." "...Which is exactly what someone who did worship demons would say."Lind cocked his head, and turned toward the priest. "What happens if you throw holy water on someone who worships demons?"
  23. "That's a different kind of swearing." "...So is that a yes, or a no?"
  24. "For a priest, you sure swear a lot. And I was following the strange person with the skull on her staff, to see where she was slipping away to, not the two of you. If she hadn't wandered here, I wouldn't have."
  25. A very loud, unwanted voice suddenly resounded through the air. "Do NOT speak of Miss Anaver with such low language!"A second uncalled-for guest had followed the duo outside - in this case, following the strange mage, with the skull on her staff. "...Not that I was invited, but what's going on? Is this an interview, or an inquisition?"
