I get that it was just a throwaway comment, but it actually could be a pretty fun idea - and definitely a lot more fun than just sitting around, commenting every few days about "Gee, still no new quests...".

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^I can deal with the yellowing part - just keep it out of direct sunlight - but changing their core materials to a lesser product would definitely fall in the realm of potential deal-breaker. Unless they released an LU theme at that particular time point. Or some other theme I really like...Darn it, we're all so hooked on LEGO, that probably all we're going to do if and when such a change happens, is keep buying with one hand, while we type about it with the other.

That'd be awesome! I'd suggest delegating it out to the sub-forums themselves - like a seasonal contest sort of thing, where the members submit entries for each season's banners - but they wouldn't have that special "Hinckley" design and look to them...

Nice! Question - might we ever see sub-board specific holiday/season banners? And are there any repositories where people can view the old banners? (Besides the Internet Archive...))
