Excellent job with the roof! Very original and fits perfect in this LEGO theme. Congrats!

Oh, so sorry for the delay answering you! The topics here on Eurobrick run fast and sometimes I can't follow them. The windows of the original building are historic and a little more high then usual. Even for normal people they can't reach them and because of that I tried to reproduce the visual effect. The doors follows the same concept, but the focus here was the visual effect from the work with the plates 1x2 trans-clear. If I did the doors small I could not reproduce the glass windows highlighting. So, of course if I would build it today, maybe other ideas and other scale shape could be done. after all, we are always improving our skills like AFOLs, but in this case and the subject behind it guided me to this job and all challenges behind this MOC. It was not so bad and let's keep working!

I liked the bricks you have choiced to build the dragon. They are simple and contributed very well to the final visual effect. Congrats!.

It's always cool see the development of AFOLs and their techniques. You did an excellent work with your MOC and all elements in it, especially the mosaic and lighting effects. Generally they consume many time from us until our eyes see them perfect. It's great for me. Congratulations!

I'm a fan of big and well done castles and yours is really amazing! The work over the past months and the final effect of the all details are truly inspiring to all AFOLs all over the world. Congratulations! You deserve all features!

survey Picture versus Video Reviews
Adolfo replied to Bonaparte's topic in Forum Information and Help
Despite of all advantages of videos nowadays, in this LEGO question I think pictures are better because of many reasons listed by AFOLs here.. -

Excellent project! It`ll be an important tool to all AFOLs. I can imagine the challenge to keep the database updated, but everybody can help in this task too. Congratulations!

Each MOC made by AFOLs proves that the colors are one of the most important details when we plan and build our projects. God job with Friends theme!

Very good work with the dark green color and the its foliage. The tall trees are other nice details too and highlighted the scene. Congrats!

Thank you all for the comments! The size of the station doesn't follow an exact minifig scale, but I guarantee that is almost there. Generally, historical buildings, one of my passions, allows us to work free, using a good sense on it when we think the project. It's a non LEGO element (special paper that copy the rock effect). I'm not a purist in these cases. But the front is really attractive and I loved it too.

Thanks for all comments! Actually, I have this color conflict every time I sew the back wall. Our eyes can deceive us sometimes. Maybe you are right. I liked this detail too. I thought that final visual effect was very attractive for AFOLs' eyes.

I really never thought in my life build a LEGO turtle! This is a very funny challenge for AFOLs all over the world. I'm out, but we'll se many interesting stuff.

Hello, folks! I built this MOC for Expo LUG Brasil 2013 and only now I’m sharing the pictures on Eurobricks. This project was a dream that come true when I got all the bricks to do that. Of course it’s my version of just one part of the all magical castle, specially the choice to use the white color on back wall (the original is bright yellow), but I liked the final effect to the Gatehouse. During the Expo, with the help of others AFOLs, we created a scene to complete the layout around the castle. There are more pictures on my flickr for others scenes. Enjoy! Hello, my dear friends of the LEGO world! It's a great pleasure to post my first MOC on Eurobricks! I always followed the news and researched MOC images of AFOLs from all over the world to inspire me on my works and now it's my turn to contribute to the hobby sharing my dreams. This MOC is a reproduction of a train station, which is part of a larger rail complex, located in the brazilian city of São João del Rei, in the state of Minas Gerais. The city is celebrating 300 years of foundation (1713-2013) and this was the way I found to honor this special place in my life. The São João del-Rei Train Station is the start point to one of the most famous passenger transport ride by steam train in Brazil, linking two beautiful historical and touristic cities of the country, São João del-Rei to Tiradentes, guaranteed itinerary of any tourist who wants to visit this region. In November, I hope I can expose this MOC in Expo LUG Brasil, our main LEGO event here in the country. Enjoy the pictures! Nice and dedicated work on LDD. We need a lot of patience sometimes to do that, specially the mosaics on the floor. I hope you build it for a real soon.
