Exactly, the toyshop owner told me just about "one big black guy beyond those in the traditional colours", a guy that most probably is Umarak. When I wrote that it had already been said Umarak had green too.

This. Discussion should cool down a bit until we know more. On topic, when did we get leaks last year? As far as I know by august 15th we have pictures for most of the big themes.

That's exactly what I said, the Nuva were almost exact clones of the Mata with completely different masks.

[>implying the infos aren't fake] So my finding has a further confirmation, Umarak is black at least he has some green too, a combination I think we saw only with Umbra during G1. Also I'm greatly disappointed by the reuse of the same exact molds for the Toa masks. I fear these 2016 Toa will be even more clones of their older counterparts than the Nuva were in 2002.

Feel free to do that. Even though I'm suspicious, shouldn't Kopaka be the big set of this wave? But he said "usual colours plus a big black one", the same that could have been said about LoSS...

I failed, my friends. This afternoon I went to the infamous toyshop, and when I asked at least to see the catalogue the owner told me "there will be figures in the usual colours and one big black one, the joy of LEGO is waiting isn't it? " or some crap like that. We had confirmation that Umarak is black but... is that a scoop? I'm so sorry guys.

Usually when do they update the shop in winter in order to accomodate the new sets? In other words, will I be able to purchase Umarak for Christmas even though it should reach stores only in january 2016? When I say shop I mean of course the LEGO shop online.

I am the guy whose friend runs a toy shop and has recently received the 2016 catalogue. The shop is here in Italy, near Milan, but sadly I asked him multiple times to take pictures without getting a positive answer. "I may risk my partnership with LEGO", those were his words. Also the fact he has two times my age doesn't help when I tell him i won't spread the images family friends are the worst. But at least we know catalogue are out there, and we should be getting pictures this week. catalouges*, derp

What do we have here? Names appearing on boxes? I think it's safe to assume that BIONICLE had enough success this year to convince LEGO to stop playing it safe, since the absence of names on most sets this year was seen as an attempt to make the entry level to BIONICLE as low as possible. Good news, I guess!

I also think that all these polybags may bring back mask packs... it all depends on how much LEGO still wants to invest in the theme.

Out of all the Rocka sets, only five heavily used golden pieces. And Chima is flat out another book EDIT: also Rocka was the only character ever given golden pieces during HF's run. (inb4 Aanchir reminds me of Queen Beast's only golden piece )

While BIONICLE 2015 used too much gold, to the point it looks like a "normal" colour, it must be acknowledged that in Hero Factory it was an almost non-existant shade.

2004 had outstanding sets in the Toa Metru (Lhikan ), also really nice titans. My vote went for this year, especially thanks to the story: a dictatorship in this mysterious city that was able to catch the feeling of early Mata Nui. I also understand the praise for 2006, a close tie with 2004. -

The probably part was at the very end of my post, "as most probably it's going to happen this time.". I was referencing the colours to be honest, but also the whole idea. I should've been more explicit, especially since I won't believe anything til I see pictures. But really, let's not argue about semantics right here right now

Sounds a bit harsh to me, especially since I said most probably, not for sure. Yeah, we're not sure it's Ekimu returning, but if it's him I highly doubt he's getting a new mask or even a redesign of the Mask of Creation by now it's clear to everybody that BIONICLE G2 is not a top priority for LEGO, so it's not too farfetch'd to think that they're gonna recycle an excusive mask.

So we're getting the same "special" mask (Mask of Creation) two years in a row... that never happened in G1 :/ (inb4 silver/gold Avohkii in 2003, silver/gold ignika in 2008/09) especially never happened with the same colours, as most probably it's going to happen this time.
