So, basically in 2016 we'll have another hyper detailed mask that will eat up a good chunk of the budget? I'm quite ok with this tbh.

17 sets in a single wave was unheard of even during G1, even in 2006. Those are obviously summer sets. Still, I'm curious about how will they play their cards with all these returning characters (we know a set we've not seen yet appears TWO times, lol). Anyway I hope in 2017 we'll have again big waves, just to tell us BIONICLE is healthy.

What the average kid was able to understand from the very simple bits of story scattered across commercials and catalogs wasn't much more complicated than the 2001 story. If we're talking about charm, well, that's a whole other deal. 2007 stinks still to this day.

Every time someone says that BIONICLE was axed because of his complicated story, I laugh my butt off. Here in Europe we got little to no storyline line material (big countries like Italy, France and even Germany have never seen a single book from G1 translated). All we knew was the essential, like thousands of kids did and were perfectly fine with.

Actually here we don't even bother using the terms "winter" and "summer" sets, they're just... sets. I've become so used to refer to the two waves of a year with the aforementioned words that I give it as granted that LEGO unofficially uses them here too. Now that I think about it, does LEGO use winter and summer as official terms?

Like here in Italy it's always been september since G1, I don't even know why they still call them summer sets by this point.

Guys I can't tell you how but a friend of mine sent me a picture of a 2016 set, he was able to grab a prototype here's the picture, handle with care.

I somehow understand, but then why doesn't LEGO show new sets in December rather than October? That would almost annihilate every chance for competitors of producing knock offs.

I'm a fairly dumb person, so would anyone explain me how leaks can be harmful? In two months we will have official images anyway, so competitors (??) won't have much more time in their hands. And about us, the customers... do you really think we ain't gonna buy current sets because we know about the upcoming ones?! That would be just weird. We're AFOLs, aka 5% of LEGO's money. If for whatever reason we'd stop buying sets because we saw them leaked (???) LEGO would barely notice. Please don't ban me for my words ;__;
