  1. As far as costumes are concerned, I don't think it's a matter of construction, rather than of budget. We all remember the Tahu Nuva costumes back in 2003 in order to promote MoL, and personally I've always found them really awesome. A CCBS-based custome may have the same problems of the older costumes: look at BIO 2015, the parts are already more complicated than in all of HF.
  2. Thank you very much for the screen, but I fear you don't get what I meant: I was interested in the likes and comments the international audience gave to the news of BIONICLE returning, the italian page of LEGO had just 40 (forty) likes to the video
  3. Could any of you be so kind to screenshot me the post on LEGO's Facebook page announcing BIONICLE? I'm not able by any means to change the language of the page, it keeps showing up in Italian (my language). EDIT: don't mind, I was able to find out. And something else was discovered: a further confirmation.
  4. Most probably for the very same reason BIONICLE was discontinued more than four years ago: declining sales. It happens to every theme, and HF may say with pride that it took five years of sets to rech the point of no return. Also, before starting the argument "but HF hadn't any cut in its sets quantity!" let me say that neither BIONICLE got them in 2009. BIONICLE Stars were just a gift to the fans, so 2010 doesn't really count.
  5. As an avid consumer of memes, I found this really enlightening. Nice meme :^) also a shame you missed dubs by 1.
  6. Toa of Creation incoming in wave 2, mark my words.
  7. The song sounds really like it was from Tibet, Lind. Anyway, does any of you have the youtube link to the video? On G+ I can't click the right button or something, because I see the yt bar but can't open it on yt.
  8. Because I'm a retard, I meant it confirms it's not a CONTINUATION
  9. Outstanding build, but the scratches are unwatchable.
  10. https://community.lego.com/t5/LEGO-General/Chat-with-Greg-Farshtey/m-p/11180255/highlight/false#M251989 Also, he was just asked some bits of story by the guys who are ACTUALLY writing the new story. The development was already advanced when Greg briefly "joined" the crew. I posted it there myself, as a quick way to give the image a link
  11. Also: Greg did not write the new story. Happy or sad? As for me, curious to see if the will duck up anything soon.
  12. Greg confirms it's not a continuation.
  13. There was a lot of mystery and nonsense throughout the whole BIONICLE story, and as it was said calling it magic or protodermis is just a mere wording matter. Also: >implying the won't give us a more specifical terminology as the story progresses
  14. > that feeling when BIONICLE will neber be branded just as BIONICLE but from now on as LEGO BIONICLE See you, nominal indipendence...
  15. What if... Toa of Creation confirmed? à la Toa Ignika, but more relevant.
  16. https://www.facebook...&type=2 The traditional chants of Polynesia are towering over my mind. Also, it pretty much confirms new masks are going to be attached by the sides of the face. EDIT: it actually sounds a lot more like Tibetan chants, but you get what i mean.
  17. HUGE tribal feel confirmed! That was what I was concerned about the most.
  18. I just watched for the first time The Legend Reborn. While I noticed the many flaws that movie had (that didn't bother me too much, after all it was BIONICLE!), it was a real pleasure for my eyes seeing exact replicas of the set I have in my hands moving and fighting and arguing and everything. A real shame Metru Nui didn't get the same treatment, and while I know the movie version were acceptable depictions, they were just too different. An animated Toa Lhikan, how awesome would it have been? Glad to know any future movie/TV series of BIONICLE will be faithful to the sets.
  19. HF went simplier simply because it was its final act, and a rather modest one too. A teaser site would be more than what I realistically expect: just an image withe the BIONICLE logo and a release date of January 2015. EDIT: 100th post, ZIMBAWE11!!!11
  20. Irony is an abstract food on the internet. Anyway I'd love an introductive video, that would be the sheet on the bed.
  21. Holy cannoli, Bruizer was a smoking hot set. Lots of Technic, a Hewkii-esque mask, solid color scheme. A shame I completely ignored it last year. EDIT: just had a look at VBBN's review of Bruizer. I must say I'm much less intrigued now Core Hunter was the man of his wave.
  22. Yeah, I'm part of the so called diehard fanbase, and CCBS grew in me. It doesn't have the same charm old BIONICLE pieces had for me, but I'm glad to see BIO2015 tried (and imho succeded) to bring back some of the old aesthetics.
  23. The construction is very interesting, and while not visually appealing in some areas (the lower torso looks a bit messy), I really like the smart use of many parts. Good job.
  24. Yet when this involves sincere despise towards anything, not just BIONICLE, the way to go should be the one of "not caring".
