  1. Thanks guys glad you like it
  2. Thanks guys.... will post here if I get anywhere with it. Another question to ponder... would it make sense to do the inside and build around it... or build the castle and then work out the inside?
  3. Hi all. Thinking of attempting to make this including interior detail. Will be a while yet as will need to collect bricks but wondered if anyone has tried to do this before and if so are there pictures? Thanks.
  4. Lovely details. Keep it up!
  5. Wow.... will be having a closer look next week... already spotted so much! Walking dead batman war of the world's, terminator, king Kong..... so much detail!
  6. Thanks guys. It's a stand it's on. What's SSD? Have just ordered parts to try to make a bigger one
  7. Hi all, I'm sure this is answered elsewhere but haven't a clue where to look for it. I know the lego creator (deign a cgi model and then order the real bits to make it) closed a couple years back, but I've seen several posts of people having bricks delivered etc. to make their own models. Could I ask, is there somewhere that's a sort of click and buy your model, or an easy to use pick and mix style store? Thanks
  8. Seems to be working now but only by copying and pasting by right clicking and not using the insert image button... odd!
  9. Wow.... that's super amazing. Fan of tugs here from childhood memories of the TV show although know little of the real things...but this is a fantastic model and a lovely looking tug to have as a subject too. Keep up the good work.
  10. Thanks vk318. That does sound like what I was doing. I was getting as far as putting the image link into the dialogue box and trying to click ok but the box wouldn't close. I had to use the back button on explorer to get it to close by leaving the page. On my phone at home and the tools don't appear to be available so will try again tomorrow. Perhaps something was playing up with the pic. It was a bit iffy with a couple other things to. Thanks again for the info
  11. Hi all, First post. wanted to get started in the 'adult lego community'. bought the following sets as they seemed to have a good variety of pieces thought for a start I wanted to try something using some of the advanced techniques so opted for a super star destroyer. know it's not accurate or to scale, but really pleased with the result from the pieces had. CC welcome. Edit - Sorry, it's appearing to not let me add picture links...? Help anyone? I've tried to copy the image link from photobucket I he image code brackets but it won't appear in my post here...
  12. Just joined. Have been looking at 'pro lego' for a while and thought I'd take the plunge after seeing various versions of small star destroyers. Have me four of the microfighters sets to play with as they seemed to have a good selection on bits. Loved lego as a kid (still have it all but no room to play until have a house sorted. Now 30 and work as a manager. Names rob by the way
