  1. Very clever - both the build and the subject for the Husbandry Challenge
  2. Looking at the link the chrome costs $50 CisFran, but not sure where the extras are from... As for colour I'd be interested to know too - and also if anyone knows rough costs for different colours - guessing some are more costly than others. I'd be interested in doing a green one myself.
  3. These look great! Where are the chrome parts from that aren't included in the chrome set?
  4. WOW!
  5. Absolutely love this idea. If I had the parts and time I'd work on the bad guys castle ;) My critical thoughts: Colour - agree with cook - don't use the baddies colour on the good guys. Also if you have the parts I'd suggest swap the tan base for green (at least on the outside). I think it would help brighten the set but keep to your greys, yet complement the red highlights. I don't know how this would affect piece count. Piece count - to keep it low I'd move the railings to the top of the 'roof' - I don't think the brown supporting bits serve a clear purpose. Stairs - small so maybe include a larger siege tower or baddie encampment? Also agree with previous points. I really do like this - as a kid I'd have wanted multiples of everything! One last idea (Lego may not like it!) what about a 'partspack' to allow walls to stack? Thinking removing the roof and adding a support to attach walls one level up stepped backwards. This could include a 'command' section for the siege wall for interest?
  6. Great build, simple but nice little details like the flowers an rocks to make it interesting
  7. Very nice scene! Looks like he's lost to me - that spear on the left's got him ;) (I do re-enactment myself with these types of weapons). If you want him to 'win' I'd suggest turn his head to look at the spear guy to imply he's blocking down with the axe :) Spot on as a sparring scene though! Looking forward to phase 2
  8. Fantastic scene - love the use of vines on the trees - haven't seen that style before. Constructive Crit - for me the deer (whilst wonderful creations!) get a bit lost in the scene - If possible I'd make them either in dark brown or some how alter the texture of vegetation by them to help them 'p' as a focal point. I am being very picky there though!
  9. Thanks Soccerkid - they were a last minute addition - saw that cheeky grin and couldn't resit adding them fishing as well! Anyone else kind enough to offer a last credit at all? ;)
  10. Thanks all - anyone kind enough to give me credit? ;) Soccer-kid -yes it's the fisherman's hat - I'll leave it to you to figure out what happened to h rest of him.
  11. Lovely build. Looking forward to seeing the others ☺
  12. Hi all. A moc based a little way down stream from my last one ( http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=113888#entry2314438 ) I'd like to claim doh credit for: Hydrology - waterfall C & c welcome
  13. Love the humour going on there!
  14. Thanks all - now working on a scene a little further down stream - will post when I get it finished.
  15. Love it - does he come with teddy?!
  16. Fantastic Build!
  17. Love this! I've been thinking about ways to save money to start some modular - this may be the perfect solution! Love the details you've squeezed into your build :)
  18. Looking good! I'd agree with the others - for a Halloween/Fall I'd say it's too bright - Halloween I'd stick to darker tones and the orange/purples you've got, for fall browns/reds and oranges. Having said that it depends on your brick collection - you could still make it bright but atmospheric with any spooky goings on you decide to depict.
  19. Wow great build - love all the little details - things that you'd actually see in this sort of place. It reminds me of holidays in Devon!
  20. Thanks all. Apologies for the photo quality - Having moved house my main camera's damaged (auto lens is busted) and can't afford to replace it yet. Add to that a particularly wet and grey August and I've got some pretty poor phone photos I'm afraid. Will see if I can get some better ones at the weekend. As for DoH I'll bare that in mind - Just thought it was best from reading the Q&A on that topic.
  21. Great build! Quite atmospheric even without being built in a 'setting' - I can imagine it in a swap or dodgy end of a palm beach quite easily! The colours work really well too.
  22. This looks fantastic so far! Really has the feel of a medieval gate :) Keep it up!
  23. Love this! So different and clean compared to other builds but still Legoey!
  24. Hi all - I'd like to claim credits on this please. C&C welcome - http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=113888 edit: and a follow up build: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=113991
