Another decent wave with great parts! The sets look pretty good for the most part. Again, there’s a few Bandmates I’d like to get, but not many. I’m more interested in miniifig parts more than anything.

Is the Batmobile not released in other retailers today as well? I checked Target & nothing. Their website is blank on it too. B&N was the same, not even in their system.

The thing about the instructions I find funny, in an ironic way, is that LEGO is all about sustainability...but wastes so much instruction space by just making one step a single piece...or just two. They could greatly cut down on the pages used if they’d cut that kind of stuff out. Now, that’s obviously from an adult perspective, but it’s just weird.

Me too. As amazing as their mech designs have been lately, they could really knock it out of the park. Then the minifig prints & hairpiece advances.

They’ve been downsizing boxes for quite some time, although very puzzling...some are not. I’m not even talking about the huge, high piece count sets. I remember few years ago, boxes were all skinny, then 60060 Auto Transporter had an unnecessarily fat box. And back again...then switched again.

Yeah, I couldn’t believe how fast they popped that guy out. I suppose that’s about testament to how popular the costume minifigs are.

Well, these are pretty great. Fawkes is amazing. Harry & Hermione buildables are neat, but kinda strange... The sets themselves, I’m digging all of them. H & R robes finally! Basilisk looks awesome. Can’t wait to see Crabbe & Goyle’s prints. Fluffy looks cool. The Flying Lesson will easily, I think, fit in with the other Castle segments we’ve gotten recently & I love the House shields(even though they’re stickers...). Very excited to get these.

I glanced at the last couple pages...but ignore this it’s been mentioned, but man! where was the design of the brick built Harry & Hermione when the Airport Battle set was being designed. That kind of Ant-Man would’ve been amazing.

One final, for now, B&P order of 1x2 trans light blue tiles. Added some 1x1’s & the brown retriever as well.

I’m at a loss. This is fantastic! I had no idea coming in, but wasn’t pleasantly surprised. The house is great, looks like something Unikitty would live in.

The diversity is already there. It’s like the saying “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” I don’t recall any box art explicitly showing any two adults as being husband & wife. Parisian Restaurant was brought up earlier. Who’s to say that couple isn’t two females? I’ve seen plenty of lesbians dress in suits before. I recently got the newest RV. Who’s to say they aren’t siblings doing a caravan trip with family & decided to ride that leg together? Minifigures are what you make of them. There’s no way, aside from throwing in a gay pride flag or the like, to indicate that X person is gay.

It’s been in a few sets, 60202 Outdoor Adventures is where I know it from. Also, 21320 Dinosaur Fossils & 21318 Treehouse. Not sure on the legs though.

He’s fantastic! What a cool build, scale is great too. This would make for a nice set. It would definitely be something different.

Ever since getting the BaM exclusive cat last year(I bought 7...) and the black terrier(3) & now the black dachshund, I’ve become a bit more of an animal lover myself. I’ve resigned myself to at least one of each.

I’ll bet it’s because they needed a few female characters. To me, neither of those two are iconic & stand out, in the wrong way, among the others. *round of applause* The accessories are pretty weak here. The signs are fun but aren’t anything special like CMF series are supposed to be. I do like the series a lot though.

This is fantastic. I love landscape builds & you nailed it! The water area & the plush bushes are all great.

I highly doubt it, because they’re meant for the stores BaM stations. But I never have looked either. Your best bet is Bricklink. Friend told me you can search for bam parts.

Given all that, it wouldn’t surprise me if pressure from somewhere made them pull the plug. As you said, how could a set get that far into production, years, to suddenly be halted shortly before release. Granted they don’t owe any of us an actual reason, it would be nice to know it.

To add, Ninjago Jay’s hair in Dark Orange. They came out quick with the recolor pug suit!
