What head/body has anyone used with the CMF Centaur body? I bought an extra one many moons ago to add to my HP group. Maybe the same one but different hair color?

I imagine they will. They did in the last wave of the 2010 reboot with the Forbidden Forest & Battle of Hogwarts sets.

Drat...that’s what I figured but I don’t frequent there enough to know all the ins & outs. No specific heads, just not ones with facial hair I suppose. That’s a good idea with the Stranger Things ones. All of them would be useful.

I’ll direct this at the more seasoned B&P’ers. Is there a way to look for stuff by category? I need to buy some hairpieces for both males & females(working on full Quidditch teams). I don’t have any particular hairs in mind, but if I could search by hair that would be a lot quicker than looking for numbers elsewhere & punching them in. And do heads ever show up? Need more than a few of those too.

That’s fair. I wasn’t a fan of the Hedwig set, it’s just not really my thing either. I wanted that Harry for the new torso though. Then I found a pretty mangled box(and it was the only one) so I got a really good discount on it. It’s a decent build, the flapping feature is cool. Fawkes I like more because of the colors & it being a phoenix...but still not a huge fan of these sets. I’m gonna go with Polyjuice Potion Mistake. The minifigs are of course great, it’s nice to finally have Crabbe & Goyle(now Draco can pick on others properly). The build was surprisingly good. I will have to echo the others so far & say Fluffy’s Encounter. The castle section is just weird. I don’t like having that extra part that has nowhere to go if you stack that tower under the corridor. That “Devils Snare” is pretty weak. I do like Fluffy though.

Man, I would love to see a 50% sale...I hate myself for paying full price for the Hip Hop Robot Beatbox. I bought him in anticipation for the car which I plan on buying sooner than later. Those Beatboxes are ridiculously overpriced. And it sucks because there’s some great minifigs there.

Reviews seem to be, to put it nicely, not so good. “A waste of time” is a phrase I read a lot. I didn’t watch because nothing interested me enough to watch. It’s neat that they’re doing these. I watched the one where they revealed the Police Station Modular, it was a bit cheesy but fairly fun to watch.

I was pleasantly surprised by this set too. The sink build is great. The only downside is only one potion filled mug(which I rectified with a B&P order).

You do know tastes differ. Just because some people don’t like it doesn’t mean you won’t. I wish people would quit losing their minds over vague rumors. It makes no sense. Just finished building Fawkes. It’s a fun build & better looking than Hedwig but I, bummed the feet aren’t attached to the bird. I don’t have Hedwig attached to her stand, so I guess Fawkes will just have to be an amputee.

Nice discount. Makes it more bearable. The pricing of the Beatboxes is so ridiculous. I get those new parts are big...but they should not be that expensive. I regret buying the Hip Hop Robot at full price even though he is really cool.

I just finished building it. It was an enjoyable build, for the most part. Making all those pawns wasn’t tedious, but at least they’re small & take seconds to put together. And the other pieces are spread out enough that the double build doesn’t feel super repetitive. I love the extra swords. And the B&W bucket helmets are cool too. Biggest plus for me, I’ve been wanting a chess set but was holding out on buying the regular chess set because other stuff kept knocking it down the list. So getting this was great. Exactly. Also, of the five Frog cards between Fluffy & Chess....I only got one I needed. So I need 7 to complete the set. Still have the AC &, I assume, the D2C.

This is so good! Wish I would’ve saw this before I made a B&P order a few days ago...next time. That middle section is really odd on the set one.

We all take this seriously, that’s why we’re here. There’s also a lot I wish we would’ve gotten but didn’t. None of that has any bearing on what we did get though. Not getting DH sets doesn’t affect what came before it. Yeah it sucks not to get stuff that has largely been neglected in years past, I can agree to that.

Sounds rough & a touch over dramatic. Just because some things weren’t or possibly aren’t going to be made doesn’t emanates reboot is garbage. We have so much good to great stuff in this reboot. All the new prints & characters. New parts. Great updates on existing sets. Far superior location sets. Looking back at past HP themes, we’ve been spoiled rotten by this reboot. Except the “basilisk” in the 2018 GH, we were punished there for some reason.

Interesting you say price is among the not so good part(although being down under may play a part there). In the States this set is $30, which is fantastic, given the Beatboxes are $20. I don’t know how they’re going to share shelf space & expect the Boxes to sell...but in anticipation for this set I did end up by the Hip Hop Beatbox...at full price. I still hate myself for doing it.

I went to a book store on the day they were supposed to release, but they didn’t have any. Ended up ordering two. Then I recently checked the other day, that same store had finally got some in, bought all 3. Then called a different chain & found the other two. Now I have six books I have no idea what to do with...

It looks great. As someone who is also an Emmett, I don’t have many tips & tricks to offer. I like how you incorporated all of the obstacles in there. For the given space, you nailed them. One bit of info I would suggest, change out the dark grey masonry bricks. I would make it regular dark grey bricks. Since it’s supposed to be natural rock, it looks kinda odd having perfectly placed bricks.

Oh nice, just took a quick look at that. That will be very helpful in making the teams.

Now that I have a full team of Cedric’s I was curious how other people who are filling out their Quidditch teams? The book has a nice display of the all the teams(mostly) to go by. The limited searching I’ve done only lists a few members of Hufflepuff.

Five more copies of Let’s Play Quidditch. I now have a full team. Really regretting not getting another Quidditch Match before it retired.

Yeah, this Accessory Pack doesn’t have the “wow” that the first one did, having all four houses. I definitely like the minifigs in this new one, but I wish the guy in the top hat was all kind so of different. We have a new, better top hat & why Ollivander’s torso... I love the female witch & Borgin though. I like the jars too.

An actual hateful opinion. Not just a simple disagreement of a lifestyle. I see you just have to be right here, no matter what. So I’m done, I should’ve just stayed out of this thread like I have. There’s no getting through too many folks here.

Tossing around the word homophobe when there is none, makes the word lose it’s meaning. Then, when you encounter actual homophobia, chances are lower that you’ll be believed. Granted that last sentence by the person you quoted & accused...was strange, there was no fear or hate there. This is the big problem with society, especially when it comes to social media. Throwing out accusations like they’re candy simply because so,some doesn’t align with one’s views. It’s dumb & does nothing to help the conversation or problem at large.
