10223 Kingdoms Joust. Got it recently. Now to get a second one for the awesome display power we saw before the set came out.

May the Fourth and now Revenge of the Fifth?
Vindicare replied to mutley777's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I asked a day or so ago in the general SW question thread. I haven't checked there yet today, but there was no answer yesterday. I too missed out on the ARF. Now with two days...bah humbug, now I'll have to decide which day to visit the store on...unless this is good online as well? -
Wow! Congrats on the job at TLG, a dream you are not only fulfilling for yourself, but for everyone here, as well. The SW forum will miss the rule of your fist of justice, but I think your minions will handle the place well. Good luck and above all, have fun working for TLG!

Not yet. I don't know how much longer I can resist the temptation though... Were trying to sell the house, and if we get a call from the realtor that they want to show the house, it would just be one more thing to have to clean up. Since there's 10+ pages for each section of the build, I'd have to spread out on a big table. Like I said, I may not be able to resist it much longer though.

Huh...what? I got distracted. Good start. My memory is a bit foggy on Ms. Marvel, but from what I remember, she looks good. Don't remember her having a mask...one trip to Google will help that. Emma looks good as well, despite having brown hair. But, if you put Ms. Marvels hair on her, it'd be spot on. Well done, I look forward to seeing more.

Let's share our funny interesting photos!

is that Chuck Norris' leprechaun twin? Cool picture. Rock shows not going so well for him, has to try to rob a poor leprechaun...tsk tsk... -
You've done it again! Although, I can't help but think Bruce Lee is giving me the finger . Nonetheless, he can give me the finger all he wants, I won't object. He looks just as much an a$$ kicker as his real life namesake. Like your band MOCs before him, I love the way you do the faces/heads, just makes them like they're alive and showing emotions. Ki-ya!(or however you spell it, the good ol' karate yell)

Wow, what a line up! Great builds, I have to agree, the Ace of Spades car is one of the best cars you've built. Which fig do his pants come from? Very cool cars and all kinds of inspiration here.

Look at all those great Calvary figs. interesting scene. Ditto on the faces though. Good job making everything though, pretty neat.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Vindicare replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I like Artoos box art. A few people said that he leans forward(or stands straight, can't recall which). I never saw that and now it's clear that he leans back as he's supposed to. It's going to be hard to resist that, but $180... -
I would TOTALLY buy an Ecto-1. Rotta the Hutt would make a pretty convincing Slimer.

To the people who voted for Fury/Spiderman as favorite Minifigure...how? You don't even know what they'll look like.
-
They will. All you have to do is go to their website and get to the missing parts section and fill in the necessary info.

Very cool ad. Everyone I knew except the last one as well. -
I picked Captain America. He is all kinds of win. Now I'm going to have to figure out how to do 'Shield Slash' in LEGO... I couldn't wait to get Cap'n when I first heard they were coming out, so excited.
-
That is too awesome! If I ever have a dedicated LEGO room, I would so do that to at least one wall.

Ok, it's mockingjay . net. On the homepage, theres a lot of videos with interviews from the cast and director. 3 of the mod team went to the premiere in LA and talked about how it was really true to the book. One even said it was the most like the book movie she'd seen.

Rub it in a little harder, why dont'cha? even in California it's overcast... Mine?! Mine?! Mine?!* That's what I thought of when seeing this. * Reference to Finding Nemo. There was a flock of sea gulls that only said "Mine?!" repeatedly

Architecture Contest: Clarendon building
Vindicare replied to Marckeyh's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Amazing. Wondering why you only did the facade? Ran out of bricks? Wanted to show the front courtyard, which is awesome, by the way. Great build! Good luck. -
Apple Store, Gym, Restaurant, Bar and night Club - Oh My!

Speaking of pulling apart, I'm curious as to what you(and MOCers in general) do with your custom Modulars? Do you just set them on a shelf(or display) and leave them be? Do you take them apart after a while of enjoying them? Say it's the latter, if you ever want to build it again later on down the road, do you take a lot of pictures detailing everything so you can rebuild? Or just have a good memory. If I ever built Modulars, I'd be more broke than I am now, cause I wouldn't be taking them apart once I built them, just order more parts. -
So...did you order the Modulars or cancelled that and ordered the other stuff? If you ordered the other stuff, you made a grave mistake. Ok...maybe not grave but you really should've stuck with the Modulars. Although building 4 Modulars would keep you busy for a while, and end in some hurt fingers. The end result is well worth it.

Not bad. I would swap the engine piece with the white slope behind him. Rotate the engine piece 180 so it's facing back, the blower cpuld be the propulsion system for the bike. I like it, though. Looks really cool with the rider on there, looks like the visor is actually over his eyes.

There they are! Good job on the purist customs. They look like a merry bunch. Nice using the Heroica sword as a short sword for the hobbit.

I find your lack of periods disturbing!
