  1. I googled 'asphai' and the best I could tell from pictures is that's it a bug of some sort. I don't that doesn't help much since we all know it's a bug. Either that, or it's a knight, which is unlikely. . It looked kind of beetle like.
  2. Saw Act of Valor last week. Wow, great movie. Amazing, actually. If you're a fan of military tactics and such, or even a fan of Modern Warfare video game, see this movie. But, bring tissues, you too guys. It got to me.
  3. When Savage first found Maul, I was thinking, "why'd they do that to him?!"-the way he was acting. But, once he came back to his senses and had the stink of Obi Wan in his nostrils, he got better. The choice of those spider legs, though...really? At least he gets better ones according to next weeks preview.
  4. That...is...awesome! What a great set up you all. All that space. And that table. I'm turning green with envy! (just imagine his facial expression is this )
  5. Also, you don't need to make 3 threads asking the same question. Especially when it was already answered...
  6. Very cool. I like how you made an effort to make all the "statues" different. At first I was wondering what you were doing with that, then I saw the real picture. Good job there. The details seem pretty accurate for the scale, you captured everything there. It may just be the pictures, but if you could add that fence border, I think it would make the base stand out better. At first look I didn't even see the base, it's a bit on the small side.
  7. I'd say you were successful in making a proper pumpkin. I can see why there's no crows in your field, he's spooooooooky. He's done his job well. You should step out of the knights realm more often! Everything about this build is great.
  8. Yeah, the whole building would be better suited to the contest. The only architecture I see is two columns. It's a good start though. I know you said it in your post, but how was this picture not taken in '07? Did you take the picture yesterday, and just for kicks you put '07, I don't get it...
  9. Chalk up another tally for showing now. Teasing is no fun, unless you get some sick, twisted enjoyment out of watching us squirm while you sit back and laugh maniacally as you read our responses.
  10. Better! it's looks more uniformed now, I like it.
  11. It doesn't look bad at all with the other Modulars. Take a look at the CC interior thread. Also, as a stand alone set, you could couple it with the fountain from 10184 Town Plan, and add a little bit around it. That's what I'll end up doing once I'm able to redo my city. I, too, can't wait to see TH integrated into layouts.
  12. Great interior, quite inspiring. That first shot brings tear to my eye, for two reasons. First being because its just a beautiful sight. Second, it makes me sad because mine are sitting together(minus the unbuilt Town Hall) in a box on the floor in my room. The TH doesn't look bad at all lined up with the others. Especially next to the FB. Thanks for the new screensaver.
  13. I was thinking the same thing. From the details we can see, it looks great. I'd like to see the finer details of him though. Another great Chibi, JackJonespaw!
  14. This is a tough call. While I don't have either one, I have seen both on display at LEGO stores. On display alone, while you'll need A LOT of space, I say get 10221. The size alone is awesome! I know size isn't everything but with this it is. The finished model is just impressive. However, the build may not be the moat exciting, and would definitely get tedious(all those greebles, oooohh...).
  15. That's a good point. It sounds like they're saying TDKR comes out later, here's some Batman LEGO. That's a bit of a bummer. While I'm not a big DC follower, I'd like to see more from Superman.
  16. Check the Minifigure Customs section. There's a lot of different decals. And a thread to submit requests.
  17. Looks good, except the tridents seem out of place. I like the globe piece, kind of like a Daily Planet. The cup columns are nice. Good luck in the contest.
  18. Wow, great job. The open back is always a plus. The interior is well done, good mix on the floors. The exterior is nice. Although, and these are minor remarks, I'd limit the colors in the awning to 2 colors, the window above the door, IMO, would look better not there. Just 2x1s with a few 'brick' bricks thrown in, like he has done on the roof area corner. The front plant is cool, too.
  19. That is awesome! The serpent is a bit on the simpler side, but the overall scene is just spectacular! The splashing effect is pulled off perfectly! Great job and a fun little comic to go along with your creation.
  20. I was imagining angels singing("Awwwwwwwwww") and a glow emanating from around this MOC. Amazing AC. This thing is just gargantuan! As usual, I'm pretty much speechless when it comes to something relevant to say about the MOC, just a lot of praises unto you. EDIT: where will this be displayed? As in, which show(s).
  21. Not much to say about the build, as there's not much to it. But, that's the dessert for ya. At least you added a little elevation to it. The Bloodfin is well done. Not bad.
  22. Well, I bought mine over a month ago, well before the sale. h-7, good eye moop, my figs are fine too. I don't know if the one I bought a first batch one or not, but I bought it at first sight at TRU.
  23. Hmm...add that to the list then(if it's true). Reading the other responses, it sounds like speculation. It'd be an instant buy if it had Ledgers Joker in it.
  24. Portal of Atlantis. It's a great set with cool figs. The set is a fairly fun build, with little repetition. The portal is cool and functions well.
  25. One of those "Tuff Shed" ones could be good. I've been eyeing one of those at times. I think those handle the elements pretty well. I'm sure in the house would be preferable, but not always an option.
