The Modulars are a nice addiction. Shame they only come once a year. are you going to be getting 10218 next? You're almost caught up, 2 to go. I don't know why PS gets so much flak on here...but I love it. The colors are great and the interiors are fun and detailed builds. The basement doors on the back were a neat surprise. Even though the basement is inaccessible. Then, the behemoth 10224 Town Hall. You might want a forklift if you're going to buy it at a LEGO store.

That armor piece would've looked all wrong on Ironman... Ironman doesn't have huge pointy shoulders or a big collar sticking up around the back of his neck. The suits are sleek and form fitting. Not some big, blocky mess.

Jealous! I gotta wait til Tuesday to see it with my dad. Then going again Saturday with brother and friends. I'm pretty excited.

This is great! I think we all have had that 'Brickie' moment. love the artwork, I tried identifying every set drawn in the panels, I did pretty well. I hope to see more of these in the future. Nice! It looks like a P51 Mustang. I'm not sure what the piece is called, it's a 1x4 piece with rounded...exhausts on the end set at an angle. Used a lot as engine exhausts, most recently on the Dino set 5888 Ocean Interceptor, behind the propellors on the wings. Back to your plane, throw some of those on the nose area, and there you go. A little added detail.

Pretty cool set. The pieces in here are great, trans glitter pieces?! I've never seen those before. This is a great parts pack, albeit an expensive one. Great colors, too.

This is great! Sad to hear its life will be short lived. It has the right amount of action going on. I love how the plant bursts through the street. That crushed car is splendid! I like how you positioned Ivy, definitely gives the impression she's controlling the plants.

Oh man! I think a name change would be in order.

I just built the VW, it is a great model. I don't see 10188 getting the same treatment, I think 10179 was a happy fluke. Time will tell, I suppose. It's hard to say which would have the best value... I'd narrow down the candidates to the VW and Bridge. Like Ashton said, people may be(I can't say for sure)holding onto extra DS's hoping for the next 10179, for that reason I'd axe it. Maybe someone more involved in collecting SW can have a say. I saw the Tiwer Bridge on display before, it is pretty good looking. I'd go with that. Looking back at the other landmark sets prices, this cooed very well go the same route. Or it could be just like what I mentioned about the DS.

I agree, in so many words. I can see how this, especially the added wave, would affect Japanese people. I know for me and WTC, I don't even like to think about that day. But, I don't think I'd be upset about seeing say, a picture or a painting of the Towers, sans smoke(or in this case, wave). Maybe take away the wave, while overall a great build, it is a bit chilling. Definite thumbs up for the build and effort.

Great job! I'm glad you kept with it since this is the (almost) outcome. I can't wait to see the second half added. One of the top builds in the CB! Well done.

Great architecture. Wonderful shapes and details. I love the pool, slanted shallow end to deep end. I like how the deck looks like actual wood. Awesome!

This a totally cool MOC! I really like landscapes in LEGO form, and this is just great! The rainbow, too, looks fantastic. That last picture of yours makes me feel like I'm spying on them and locating their gold.

Ooh, aaw! looks just as good as it's bigger counterpart. Great job recreating that building in micro scale. Looks great next to your other micro MOC

These figs look better than they did CGI'd for sure. First Ironman, now Thor. I can't wait for reviews to start, so we can really get good looks at all they figs.

I have neither, so I can't comment on the build. I prefer the minifigs in 9445, just love those 2 headed snakes-cool looking baddies. They're vehicle is a bit strange, but I suppose that's what Ninjago is all about. Then again, a flying boat is about as strange. I'd go with 9445 based solely on the figs. 2 cool snake figs and 2 of the ninjas.

I thought he didn't sound quite right either. I know he didn't speak much in TPM, but I remember him being deeper toned...more...I don't know, can't think of the right word. Maybe his inflection changed due to his state of mind and reclusion...

I can't answer the first part of the question as I'm not sure. But there's no reason why you couldn't use it to make a building of your own. Just slap it on a base and build around it. It could Abe a storefront or a start of a house. I don't think it officially belongs to anything though. Just a wall for the crane to hoist.

Great addition to your Wasabi district. This is something I'd like to see from TLG. A mundane(to an extent) exterior apartment complex, Orin your case, live/work units. I don't mean mundane as a bad thing either, just that it's not busy(maybe a better word). No fancy signs, overhangs, ornate roofs, bright mish mash of colors, etc. Not that I don't like all that, it's just nice to get something different. I love all the interior details you have going here. That sushi bar is cool, complete with cook(read: Ninja ) at your table. Great job and I look forward to seeing the two combined.
