John Carter- 3D. The 3D was pretty cool. The movie itself was good, some parts were a bit weird. I'd see it again.

Tough call. The most sought set I'd like to own is 6075 Black Monarchs Castle. The monorails have a close place in my heart as well. Of the sets I own, 10210 Imoerial Flagship

Well, you're off with a bang! The street and surrounding bits are just wonderful. since the street plates are essentially one lane streets. Then, if you wanted 4 lane roads(2in each direction) the layout would be huge. I've been thinking of doing a brick built 4 lane road. Nice inspiration there.

You captured it well. It may not be to the specific one you did, but shouldn't the driver be a bit higher? As far as I remember from pictures/movies, they seem to be about level with the roofline.

Haha! A triple play Oky/Iceman792! That spider legged funny is pretty much how I felt about Maul too. Then I saw next weeks preview and I feel a little better.

I recommend checking out the buying LEGO in secret thread. It ought to give you some ideas.

Not bad, I like the stack of papers on the desk. The office is a bit sparse, though. There should be a bookshelf and a few trunks. The cabinet that held the boggart in it. A definite improvement over the first one. Nice job. Edit: yay, I'm a Duke. I feel so distinguished.

Great job sok! Looks good on that base, like it was made on it. I like the new and improved version you've done. All the different play areas like a real funhouse is. Yours has a real menacing feel that the Joker should have.

Well, I'm not in the know about Technic, but I've seen 8070 on display at a LEGO store, and I stopped and took a closer look. It is a pretty cool looking car, even if a bit pricey. I do have 10219, however. I really like that. Not only because the Maersk sets(namely the blue pieces) seem to be hot property, but in my opinion, every part of the build is a win. The locomotive is great and while most of the build is repeative, the train cars(2) and storage crates(3). The truck is a cool finished model and 3 exclusive minifigs.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Vindicare replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Where's the gimmicks? All I see are accurate Artoo features. Retractable third leg-check. Interface key-check. Circular saw-check. Only thing missing that I remember is the boosters on his legs. UCS isn't meant to be played with. They're display models. I think it's brilliant. Like someone else said, the deter ing factor will be price. They did a great job with the all the details they put into this model. -
I really like the classic look to this. I love the throwback wheel and tire combo. Great build. And, who says white men can't jump.

Your MOCs are just amazing! Your clever piece usage is always ingenious. The CMF Rocker hair as flowers, . The white/trans flower is great. Everything is just fantastic.

Nice haul. I definitely want to get a second Joust. Be prepared to feel much better. While this amount was a bit abnormal, last week in a trip to a LEGO store, I spent $530 dollars. Today was a little purchase. eBay purchase of the S6 Mechanic.

Great job! You did well. You should add a little green to her face though, looks like she just smeared mud on it, unless that is the case.

Green Grocer already has an interior...

Wow! talk about stepping the game up. PF elevator is insane! Everything about that is great. The exterior colors are great and are a nice representation of the subject matter. The balconies are a great color. Awesome!

It's an injustice to keep these cooped up in the attic!? For shame sir, for shame! I have no room to talk, really. Mine are in a big box... . Just felt like bustin' your chops. At least when I get sad I can always come back here. While SwissBrick doesn't care for the street plates, I like them. They give a new look and dimension to the buildings. They're a bit pricey, I don't really know if it'd be any cheaper to brick build a street...I wish LEGO would release 2 a year, I can't get enough of these!

Wow, great job! It took me a second to tell what that blob of pieces is on the top. Once the scene sunk in, I knew. The scene is brilliant and the addition of the light PF adds a lot. You really took a fairly dull scene and livened it up quite nicely. The presentation is nice too. Well done!

Great suggestions Hinckley, interesting ideas there. I look forward to seeing your new photos, you had a good looking model, what I could see of it.

Hogwarts Community Build: D.A.D.A. classroom

Cool room! I really like the curved wall and the staircase leading up to the office. Nice touch of the lance with the House flags on it. The little floor mosaic is a nice touch, too. -
Not cool. Bummer, I feel for you. She clearly didn't recognize it, but a gift from the heart will always be better than an expensive thoughtless gift to the right girl. Clearly, she wasn't the right girl. Chin up.

The one where you asked about decals. Twice before. It could've been a double click thing, but when you made this, for a third time, I don't know...
