If you gave the money for it, go with the Town Hall. Its easier to save up $80 than $200. Plus, like nicoga3000 said, double VIP points. So, you only need to save $60.

Like you said, it's a no-brainer. Comic Con is a limited, once a year thing, while LEGOland is almost always open. I'd love to go to Comic Con. My friend and I have talked about going for the past 5 years or so, just never have. I wouldn't miss the chance to go.

I have before. Due to reasons out of my control, I live with my parents. A few times when I get in the driveway and opened the set and stuffed the bags in my pockets and threw the box in the back seat on the floor. I haven't done it recently. I'm a reformed open LEGO buyer.

I don't know if it's too big, but I'd look at Miniland figs. I'd rather have something brick built than that monstrosity you linked.

I got this yesterday. So far I've got CC and MS built and I LOVE these. Right now I can't display my modulars, so this is a nice substitute. I like how they did the removable floors in Market Street. Anyone know why the others didn't get that treatment? The only thing missing is the light posts.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 7 poll
Vindicare replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I chose the Conputer Nerd. There are quite a few like in here, but overall, he just brings a smile to my face. Favorite series is the first. I'm somewhat getting tired of them, which is why I pick and choose now. I still think they gave as much charm as when they started. -
Great job smushing two FB together. It appears as though you smushed engine bay 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 into oblivion.

Great review. You did a great job of covering just about every inch of the set. Wonder where the decision to add new prints and a new torso came in? I was surprised at the size and bulk of this set as well. The back of the box gave me a little giggle. Is the secretary embezzling money there?

This is great. A house doesn't have to be big and elaborate to be fancy. I thi k you did a spot on job here. All the necessary details are there. Except the top floor is a bit cramped. No privacy either.

An internet tale Winchester/Shaun of the Dead project on CUUSOO
Vindicare replied to Yatkuu's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That's a pretty positive message. Funny they mention the zombie issue, be use all those, mi us a few parts, are official TLG parts. They could always just remove the zombies, and call it good. Besides, the majority of people who'd buy this already have at least one zombie in their collection. -
Rumors and speculation: Haunted House Modular
Vindicare replied to forumreader's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I just hope it's going to be in the $150+/- price range. -
They've been used at windows in Kingdoms as well. I love the walls on this. The flowers are neat too. I wouldn't even want to come close to that door, those zombies are gonna jump on me if I get within range... another great MOC, Taz.

I just can't get the two sides of the small bags to separate. I pinch the bag(s), but then I can't feet the other side... I tried and tried, finally I just have in and opened the Cafe Corner one. I still have 4 tries.

I bought this today. After seeing how big the box is and how heavy it is, it certainly is worth $200. However, I hope this won't be the norm in pricing. $150 is easier to swallow than $200...

Not bad. Steampunk belongs in Sci Fi(not mini modding, he asked). Is it wind powered? Guessing as much due to the fans on the back. Not sure what's up with the chains...should switch those to tubes. If it isn't in fact wind powered, it needs an exhaust stack with smoke coming out. Good looking model, nonetheless, very LEGO-y.

Still looks great! I thought it looked fine with the red before. There were always big red roofs on the Kingdoms sets.

[MOC] LOTR Architecture: Helm's Deep
Vindicare replied to ShaydDeGrai's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
That's pretty cool. Looks really accurate. This is what I want from the Architecture series(although, not necessarily LotR), castles. -
Great picture! I love the perspective there. That robe is great, too. Not really much there, but it does bet the job done. Well done.
-
Despite the fact that it's Qui Gon, this is quite movie accurate. The wall is very good. Great addition to the CB. I don't like how the arm is posed, though. It just looks weird. If it were posed more like it is in the reference picture, it'd be better.

Got a small cup filled to the brim(and then some, a little bit) of the flower stems. I'm not sure if I want to get an exact count of how many are in there. I'm going to guess 300+\-.

I'd recommend one of those 90 degree desks you normally put in the corner. Mainly because you have a back wall to keep run away pieces from falling. Also, you have a lot of space on either side of you. This should be a fun thread to keep track of. I'd like to see everyones workstation as well.

Do you know which pieces they were? Or at least which numbered bags? I just bought Town Hall today. Just checked...my code is 05R2.
-
How did you open the two inner bags in the CC?! I can't get them. I really want to try this...

10220 VW Van 10223 Joust 10224 Town Hall 10230 Mini Modulars 6862 Superman vs Power Armor Lex Small PaB cup- all flower stems Phew! Went on a small (pre)birthday spree, 2X VIP points was a nice bonus. Its like that certain store drew me in. The window display had 10220, 10223, and 10224 in the window. Along with 10219 and a VERY impressive 10221. That thing is just amazing to see in the flesh.
