  1. Man, a job well done! All the hustle and bustle here is great! I love the guys making the stone path, brilliant. Neat buildings, too. I'm not so sure a little wooden shack would be next to a bigger, nicer house, but thats no matter. I like the little boy with(assuming) a wooden shield and sword. I hope he's not about to whack his buddy into the water. I was wondering why so many have two colored legs? I have an idea, but not sure.
  2. Oh man, that didn't even dawn on me... Eewwwww. We'll just pretend that's not really Leia. Although, being a galaxy far, far away, maybe they were into that kind of stuff...
  3. Awesome additions, Solscud. Too funny!
  4. Well, not quite the same for those. VCR and DVD are acronyms. Then TV and PC are abbreviations, or shorthand...maybe?
  5. Haha! I'm totally the same. I always think if I had one closer, I'd be in big trouble. There's 3 stores around me as well, but all around 2 hours away.
  6. Great...now you've done it. I was very much on board with the Modular idea. But now that you mention it, a MMV-esque Western set would be awesome! Two buildings with little bits added to it would be extremely hard to pass up.
  7. That's me right there. 99% of the time I say LEGO. Occasionally I'll throw out a TLC/G. Whenever I talk about LEGO, I say it as such. I don't think I'd have an issue with someone saying it any other way though. People are too concerned with being "PC" these days...
  8. I'm a set sorter, so the dividers don't mean much to me, but genius to stack inside the bigger ones. I went to Office Depot today, and wow, they have a huge selection of these bins. Probably a dozen different sizes. They really are great cases, especially if you're like me and just collect LEGO sets and not MOC. They are a tad expensive when compared to more basic designed plastic containers. In fact, mainly because they were on sale, it's the house brand container was n sale at 5 for $10. So I bit and will give these a try. They're about the size of a shoebox with a recess in the lid so they can stack. Quite sturdy. But I really like the Really Useful Boxes ones.
  9. What to Expect When You're Expecting. Kinda a chick flick, but it was pretty funny actually. A lot of stars.
  10. What an megablocks... if I had millions, I'd certainly be buying LEGO, but not ripping off the company... Loser.
  11. Happy Birthday! Hope you get some booty tonight! (take that how you want, Aaaaaaarrrrrrr!)
  12. Wow, this is awesome! The floor pattern is very nice looking. I like your benches too. Everything is great and looks accurate. The ticket counter, the baggage area, even the maze for the line. Great work.
  13. Not bad on the design. The props look a bit big for the size of the plane, but they're just so clever. You really nailed the tail logo. Nice job there. I'm not sure what the official/brick link name of the piece is, but it starts as a 2x2 round piece and tapers up to a 1x1 stud. It's a cone piece, probably 3 height. It would be good for the nose.
  14. This is great. It reminds me of Wipeout. I like the teeth and check pattern. The colors were a nice choice too. Neat use of the chair piece. I certainly would like to see more of these.
  15. Me too! Just one cool looking beast. As far as your brick incarnations ACPin, I really like the Reek best. Now that the final piece to the beast puzzle is found, I can't WAIT to see the full arena scene you have planned.
  16. I don't see what the big deal is. A lot of us remember when minifigs first appeared in sets. They were all the same-kids, adults, male, female. Of course they're going to not make a new face for every character they come out, that would be way too excessive. Luckily, the heads aren't glued on, so you can always change them if it bothers you that much. I'll admit, it's a bit weird, especially in Licensed, since the different characters who have been portrayed in the movie(or comic) don't look the same.
  17. Oh my, you've made my day with the Really Useful Boxes website. I'm heading to Office Depot today! I hope they have the different sizes.
  18. Before I clicked the link, I thought not even close...but ya know what, if it came in Dark Orange, it would be pretty good I think.
  19. Ok...first off, she never said it was LEGOs fault. It's not exactly an incredible idea...it's been around forever. I'm getting a bit tired of teem myself. I just buy some every now and then, or buy the ones I really want from eBay.
  20. Hmm..it could just be that my TRU didn't have it yet, but they had everything but the Zombie set.
  21. I didn't notice either till I got 6869 and noticed the leg print was different. I went and got 6867 Ironman. With all the cloning going on in the Avengers sets, it's nice to see they did that.
  22. Yeah...I always hated having too tight fitting knee pads. Too restrictive. Great looking torso and head prints. You've put so much work into these and it shows.
  23. All kinds of popular franchises have chess sets that have nothing to do with medieval times. Mario and Simpsons are just a few I have seen. So, a LSW set would fit. A little trip to Google also, I saw a SW chess set, pretty fancy. Rebel pieces gold and the Empire silver. So, they're out there.
  24. Wow, that fighter is cool. The darksabre is a let down... Is tis going to be a store exclusive?
