Men In Black 3 yesterday. Pretty funny. Not as many alien action as the other two. All in all, good movie, good action. Personally, the 3D wasn't very good. Some may say differently, but I'd skip it.

VIP Exclusive 850458 LEGO® Minifigures set
Vindicare replied to Thego's topic in Special LEGO Themes
There's no Roman because the voting was before that series came out and was either 1-4/or 5. It's hard to say what the ratio of kids:adults was on the voting. It was, after all a VIP emailed voucher to vote. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Vindicare replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'd call it speculation. Either way, I'd like to see more of the 'Beach Set' type of deal. But with a better model to build. The beach one isn't all too exciting, in my opinion. If they did theme sets I'd certainly buy them, as I haven't been keeping up with CMFs since S2. I'd definitely like to see a Gorilla, Lizard and Bunny suit set. I don't know what build able model would come with it... -
MOC: The Tumbler (Ultimate Play Features Edition)
Vindicare replied to hjmediastudios's topic in LEGO Licensed
Neat features, but the look is way off. The features are nice and well done, very much Batmobile like. Even the functioning Batpod, nice job. -
Good ones Oky! The last one is so true.

He's talking about comic based sets. He said, opposed to the films. I would love to have a Blackbird, Mansion(at least a Danger Room set), I know a Mansion set would be a bit too large for a LEGO set. Hopefully next wave we'll see some more X-Men/comic related stuff.

Looking great! I honestly don't think the escalators look that bad. Sometimes you have to sacrifice function over looks. Hopefully your other solution will work though. I can't wait to see the finished model and your take on cimddwcs model. Are you making any big changes or is it going to mirror cimddwc GE?

GREATEST Creation Helm's Deep by Korean
Vindicare replied to Riquelme's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Oh my...wow. That is amazing. The detail of the mountain, Helms Deep, hell, EVERYTHING! This is brilliant. I bow to your awesomeness. -
This certainly sounds like a great ship. By the sound of it, you really packed it with features. From the shot we have, it looks pretty sleek and swooshable.

A cool MOC of a fun scene. You definitely captured the factory look in this. The archways and the lights are a nice touch. That first picture is a great one.

You just continue to wow us with your figs(of all sizes)! This one, is no different. The articulation you get out of the figs you build is great. I love the poses you photographed. Another job well done.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Vindicare replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Not overly excited by this... The figs look nice and the set is alright. It seems to be in the same ballpark as the Helicarrier and Spidey set.trying to mash a big movie set into a little, one room play set. Someone said they weren't liking the fig selection...this I really don't get? All the figs are straight out of the scene. Correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't watched the movie in a while. My eyes were drawn, however, to Pre Viszla set. On the price, of course it's going to be overpriced, they all are 99% of the time. I don't even want to know what the TRU tax is going to be. I'm guessing $20. -
BaraSH, awesome Batman pic(second picture, first Bat one).

Ya know, I'd just let her choose. Get a picture with all four in one so she can see them all together. She may enjoy it better then, since she picked it out. Otherwise, I'd also go with the Pet Shop. For a kid, it has more options for play. More power to your daughter being so young and building Modulars...I have a hard enough time and I'm 31.

Mines a tricky one... . The 81 is the year of my birth

You strike again! I like how you get just the right shapes in your animals.

Pretty neat. Looks very futuristic and something a robot would give another robot.

I was going to mention that comment, but couldn't remember where to find it...

Review Monster Fighters 9468 Vampyre Castle
Vindicare replied to Artanis I's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Great review, Artanis! I await seeing better photos. From these though, it really is a great looking Castle. I'm still a bit on the fence with this theme, but after reading this review, it may very well tip the scale. I really like the old horror movie look of it. Your review is really thorough. I like that you showed each bags contents and what the outcome of each is. -
I wouldn't buy a set just for figs. It's just a waste, with eBay, Bricklink and other selling sites. Hell, the BTSF sub forum here is a great way to get figs, even through trades. The closest I came to buying a set for figs was 6865 Captain Americas Avenging Cycle. I didn't find the set all that appealing compared to the figs. It's just an OK set compared to the figs. Luckily, it wasn't very expensive. Spending anymore than that, I certainly couldn't.

It's both a blessing and a curse. That's how I look at it. If I had one, say...30 mins or so away, I'd be there all the time...I typically go to TRU once a week except the inbetween time when I'm saving up for the next release wave.

It looks really weird. Definitely want to make the gun more solid. Those vents just don't work. I think you got the overall shape fairly well.
-
This is really the only mining set that was of interest when the pictures first surfaced. I really like the fig here, and I wanted one of the new helmets. So cool! These sets are starting to grow on me(much like Monster Fighters) after giving them a good look in the flesh. I just need more room to add all these new sub themes TLG is bringing out(don't we all ). Nice review. Great pictures and an informative review.

Wow, the roads alone are great. The quality of your work is evident even in just the streets and surrounding area. Your details are spot on. I can't wait to see these added, and by the sounds of it, huge buildings.
