Great photos. I really want to get to the one here in California. I'm not much for rides, but I really want to see all the models around the park.

[rant] LEGO sets missing minifigs
Vindicare replied to Lego Otaku's topic in General LEGO Discussion
To the OP, of the sets you mentioned that had missing figs, were they all from one store, or a number of them? Just curious. I've been fortunate to not have any issues with set tampering. Lets just be thankful that TLG is so great about replacements. -
Ah ha! I knew it was shadows(obviously) but couldn't remember the 'Imperial' part. I was thinking he was never EmpireShadows...

First one is Siegfried/Sinner. I'm stumped by the fangs...unless its White Fang?

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Vindicare replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I almost bought your comparisons of those two sets, then I checked Hulks piece count-389. Palpys Arrest has 645 I believe. Good argument other than that. -
Wow Sextant! Brilliant shots. I love Snapes pose.

Welcome back Kiel! Ya know, I always wondered what was up with those pants... Every bit of clothing would rip under the stress, except those pants. thomaslam2, great comparison, very funny!

Suddenly losing all interest in a whole theme?
Vindicare replied to purpleparadox's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I get sets for what they are, not what theme they belong to. The only exception there is Friends. I don't have any interest in the mini dolls. Sure, I could sell them, but, I'd rather not deal with it. Then theres Ninjago. The theme as a whole I don't really care for. The spinners and the card game, I could do without. I like dragons, so I bought the dragon sets. Same with the recent wave, there's a few I like. -
That's fine and all, but those are all older, and on Amazon. While this took place at Target, with physical barcodes that he swapped out. Maybe has been doing this for a long time, but I simply stated that 7965 MF was not that price.

I kind of like those Ferrari polybags. Might get these if I ever see these. They even pack quite a bit of detail for being so small. Most of it comes from stickers, yes. But they got the general shape of the cars well enough.

Look at the Modular series. First 5 hovered about the $150(US) mark and then here comes the Town Hall shot up $50. Sure, the piece count was more, but only buy a couple hundred than Green Grocer. If the 'large' winter set is reliable, then we can certainly expect a price hike. The only question will be, how much? Also, I bought the Post Office just as quick as I did the Toy Shop and Bakery. Just sayin'.

I think the one thing we can be sure of for the next release is a corner( ) building. If the past releases are any sign. CC(corner building)-GG-FB-GE(corner building)-PS-TH-??(should be corner building).

Very cool little garden. Nice layout of it all too, the floor is laid out in a good pattern. I like how the rear is just a rundown alleyway, nice touch. The perimeter is a bit closed off though. Aside from the iron gate in front, there's no real way to see inside, I suppose Mr.(or Missus) Green thumb is rather private. I like how you topped of the top of the wall, goes with the ornateness( ) of the gate.

As much as I don't really like PF coming with sets due to the price increase that idea sounds awesome! I would love a little motorized ski lift with two buildings at each end to hide the PF bits. Nice idea, KD!

Monster Fighters 2012
Vindicare replied to Darth Nihilus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
For USA, S@H is selling the 7 MF sets together for $296.94(sale price, hard to say how long it's going to be that). On top of that, they're running free shipping over $75. Not sure if that works will sale items... And even better is you get double VIP points. That's 593 points?! I don't know if I can resist this deal... -
Ideas for New Action Themes
Vindicare replied to Perry the Platypus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I think you're off to an ok start. A few things though, there's no real substantial build to showcase your idea. I think the storyline is there. And the 6 Crowns is a good idea and clearly something LEGO does. Look at Atlantis, Pharoahs Quest and Monster Fighters, to name a few. The figs don't look very appealing either. Seems you just put a handful of figs in a pile and swapped torsos/legs. It'd be better to have the Spies have the same uniform, with different color variations maybe. Like each spy could have different color sleeves with Agents torso(for example). The one 'set' picture you do have isn't bad, but I think you really need a big, expansive MOC that is going to catch peoples eye. -
If you could meet Tolkien himself...
Vindicare replied to SheepEater's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I just want to hear how you intend to make Tolkien or any of the actors sign autographs? Choice of words were funny to me. -
Creative little builds. The figs are pretty neat, especially the Kaminoans.

Oh wow. Judging from that teaser shot, much like the one you did for that Naboo scene, this is going to be awesome! But, coming from you...that's no surprise.

It certainly doesn't look smaller than the newest Batwing. That doesn't take anything away from this Bat Rotor, it's killer! I love that you kept with the theme of the Batwing that it mimics his insignia. I love the colors used and the placement. The splash of yellow is perfect to the blue/grey Batman. The shape is awesome, the cockpit/fuselage, the wings, all great.
-
Great looking ship. The features sound very Ironman-esque. I like the fold out weapons, they integrate nicely into the side. I think a little more gold would be nice, theres a lot of red. Something more on the cockpit(pieces permitting). Nice story to go with it, good luck in the contest.

The numbers for the Falcon are clearly off...I don't remember there being a $279 Falcon? The most recent one was $140.
