  1. It's only been a few months. It's a bit soon til we find anything out about the next one. We'll probably start hearing stuff late Summer, maybe.
  2. This is brilliant! It's a nice change of pace on here. Not many ruin MOCs. This is cool, my favorite photo is the one with the fig exploring the land. I'd like to see your before MOC as well, I see potential.
  3. I'm with Big Cam here. When I first came out of my Dark Ages, I spent a while(and a lot of money ) on getting Forestmen and Ninja sets. Now that I look around on eBay and at Brickset and see all the old sets I used to have and would love to get, I just don't bite. I'm perfectly happy with what is available now and am just keeping up with what's out. I'd love to have the old Space Police stuff, Black Falcons, a lot of City/Town. But that would take away from the great new stuff that's out there.
  4. Man, I feel like an old fat reading most of these posts...all this 'born in the nineties' stuff. The oldest set I have is a Forestmen one, 1987... I was born in 1981. Where did I leave my teeth?....
  5. I looked through a few of the photos. You did a great job, really. The additional 16x32 is a nice touch, both inside and out. The interior bits look great, I like the hobby a lot. The outside entrance you put with the red awning and your take on the seating arrangement is good. I like the original red roof better than your grey. I get the switch and the grey is appealing.
  6. This is a great little scene. I was unaware of the Appalachian Trail. I've heard the name, but never knew it's length. That would be quite a journey to walk the whole thing. Your first nature MOC looks very nice. The little spring and rock face are nice.
  7. Not bad for your first go at MOCing. I LOVED M-Tron as a kid, I would like to get some old Space stuff again. I like all the vehicles made. The spaceship looks really good, and fits with the official M-Tron sets pretty well.
  8. Well, that signature makes sense now. I didn't read that when I looked for him. Then again, I didn't read a whole lot about him...
  9. You are a very talented builder, Ssorg. This is quite an ingenious way to make the balloon. It's neat seeing it's inner frame. And I like how you made the inside accessible, much like CREATOR houses. What is that dastardly bunch up to?
  10. Too funny! cool build, good luck in the contest.
  11. I can't wait for this! I can see this being in any town layout. The typical "haunted" house. Big ornate iron gates/fence. Just sitting in the thick of a neighborhood. All the punk kids daring each other to go knock on the door.
  12. I was checking out pictures of the castle, and I must say it's starting to grow on me. It's a really neat design and has a lot of cool features. It reminds me of the classic movie castle on top of a spooky hill. I'm starting to really warm up to this theme.
  13. There have been some difficult questions lately... I don't have an opinion on the Friends set, but as far as the other two...I'd go with the Falcon. It's a great set and neat build. It's one of the few sets I own that I haven't taken apart, and I've owned since it came out originally. It looks great on the shelf and is a good size/weight. Then the Quinjet is a cool set as well. Despite having that weird, insignificant chariot it really is. The Quinjet is a cool, heavy ship. The build is pretty fun and the finished product is nice and also a good shelf queen. The figs are a good selection, unless you have the other sets, another Thor and Loki... They're both good choices, but my vote is for the Falcon.
  14. No drive errors here on my end lately. Good work, team!
  15. Great figs all around. Except Ashs hat just doesn't work like that, its like it's jumping off his head. It looks good, just doesn't look right as is on his head. I have no idea how to better execute the hat, though. Everything else is just great. We know what you can do with Pokemon, so they're no surprise. Ash and Misty look like they're right out of the show.
  16. Fantastic review, Pandora! This is the most thorough review, in both photos and text I have read in a while. You really showed the set off.
  17. Not a bad start. Just keep expanding with sets, buildings really. It's a bit too cluttered with vehicles at the moment.
  18. That is a nice build. Very creative way to use the pieces. Like many have said, the door pieces as awnings are brilliant. Great job.
  19. Now that is awesome! I love it, the details are great. the magnifying glass as the scope on the gun arm, the big stacks on the back. The piece usage is great too. The helmets to finish off the feet, the little wind up key from CMF Robot. Great little 'old time' additions that make it Steampunk. I would totally buy this if I saw it on the shelf.
  20. Too funny! I love the bib and the meat cleaver in his hand. How is he supposed to reach the goat to cut it, though. I like the tail sticking out his custom made chair. Oh, it's good to be King!
  21. This is the fig I like best, apparently named Frank Rock. I may end up just buying the set, it may be cheaper than finding the fig by itself. This review was better, nice, clear, bright pictures, nice job!
  22. The werewolf definitely looks like a Halloween costume. The car is pretty cool. Nice trio of reviews. The photos are pretty good, but some of them are a bit too dark. Like the pictures of the figs, can't really see the details of them, especially the werewolf. His back looks good though, as does Major Steele.
  23. Wow, that is impressive! That is a serious build, inside and out. You definitely built with playability in mind, makes me want to come over and play too. I like how you didn't just make it all open inside, but gave your kids things to do in there. There's all kinds of cool details in there. The seats and sleeping quarters(? Tan tiled bits). I like that you didn't tile the outside. Viva La Studs!
  24. From what I see, I'm gonna pass on it. We'll see once we get a more clear picture. It looks semi interesting at this point. I really want a Spidey, but this may not be the route I go.
  25. We don't know that yet. You can't exa tly tell from that one picture if it's open backed or not.
