    Completely forgot the Institute was available tomorrow. Welp, there goes my idea of buying 2 suits. No money for that if I am getting the institute.

    http://shop.lego.com.../Exo-Suit-21109 Out of stock on Shop At Home. Stores tomorrow morning are all that is left. I will be at my local one early! Debating between just one or 2 given this will be limited.... Edit: They still let you add to basket and checkout. So perhaps not out?

    Pretty much my experience. 1st time I went there I was nervous they'd wonder why I was there for 2 hours and telling me to hurry up. Quite the opposite. This is why Lego is my favorite company.

    Can agree with it being blocky. Honestly, not too happy with the front or the bottom but lack of parts necessitated that unfortunate outcome. Honestly thinking I put this on the net perhaps a bit early without just ordering more parts to maybe refine this more. Oh well.

    This is the theme I want to see return. It's the sets I always wanted as a child and still want as an adult. Have 3 of them so far and lost 1 over the years(that I can remember).

    I guess I'm lucky to have a store that doesn't care too much about the lid completely closing. Though I don't try to go over by much anyhow. My last couple cups were over by maybe a quarter of an inch to a half an inch. I don't understand the need to deceive anyone. If your store has a policy on how the lid must be, then so be it. If you don't like it, go find another store.

    How you managed to get them all aligned that perfectly without base plate is just as amazing as the setup itself. My try at lining up Minifigs wasn't that easy last time I did it just trying to get a picture of my collection.

    I'd like to present my 1st MOC that I've posted on this website. The Shark is capable of interstellar travel and comes equipped with 4 high powered guns, 2 on the wings and 2 in the front. It has one main engine that powers the ship and star drive, as well as the hover function that allows it to take off and land just about anywhere. I've had this in my collection for some time from a long lost set and always wanted to use it. Such a lovely piece. =)

    Edit: Added bio info incase this was needed. Just couldn't think of anything. My entry for this contest: SBT001 - Stealth Blast Turtle: The new age of Exo-Exploration has brought new enemies and one that has been particularly ruthless in the past, Blacktron. These turtles were designed as a response to that threat and be used for both air and ground defense in different configurations. Built for rapid deployment, this turtle is fixed with 2 modes of transport and can be placed in concealed positions. When it comes to the protection of our astronauts, the federation spares no expense. Very happy with the result! Actually didn't think I'd get an entry into this contest when I found out I couldn't afford to order pieces from Bricklink in time but turns out I had enough in my current collection to build something better then my initial design. =) Will see if I can at least get a LDD render of my initial design good enough to use as another entry.     Gurnee, IL in Gurnee Mills. They had some nice pieces but overall I was disappointed with the selection. Was hoping for some unique parts and plates.

I haven't ever seen these(love Cheese Slopes =) ): Cup 1 Contents: Cup 2 Contents: Edit: Also, funny story. Had a couple come in as I was getting my cups and get over 30 cups. They took all the Light Gray Tile pieces I was hoping to pick up more of. They spent over $800 on pick a brick cups for a Lego competition.

    If access to a professional photograph setup isn't an option, I'd try poster board taped in a box like shape(2 to 3 sides, which will be my method if I can get these parts on time) with a directed lamp(one of those fancy desk lamps would work under the same kind of light of lets say a dining room table).

    Can I use LDD, order the parts off Bricklink, and submit an entry built with real Lego parts? I ask this due to my lack of parts needed for this contest without canabalzing my other models. I'd like to design it in LDD and get a Bricklink order of the parts I need(or I might do Lego's PAB on S@H).

    This is truly amazing. Did you get your insperation from this set: http://shop.lego.com...m-Machine-70804 ? This looks like a much more epic version of that. The decals are awesome. Did you paint on the eyes? They look painted and very well done. Also, does this truck offer nerve endings and connective pieces for toppings?

    Thank you! It's odd that the ones he posted would link to a private page but whatever. =) Edit: I see a lot of space where some 1x1 pieces or perhaps some plates could have gone.

    This whole thing is just another tasteless tactict by an organization that wants to assert itself on to the world however it has to(PETA is the same way). Using Lego like this just shows how far they are willing to go.

    Well my plans for ordering a light gray barrel might have just gone up in smoke if this is true(from Designer on Reddit Exo Suit Thread): http://www.reddit.co...evealed/cip0v9z Anyone know if this is indeed true? Or would it be possible to perhaps mod the piece(though that would make it not Lego Official so I dunno)? But if that was the case then why, like FaeFrost pointed out, is it originally piloted by a white Minifig in Reid's universe(if White are Ground Vehicles then this makes sense)?

    More on the barrel: It's been awesome having our questions answered by the designer of this set on Reddit. It's given me such an insight in to the production of an official Lego model! =) According to the designer of this Exo Suit this is the reason they went with Green(though Pete Reid's love it was also a reason).
