LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Tech Artist replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
For me to buy anything front Ninjago CMF series it would have to have some amazing Ninjas. Batman would be cool but again it has to be unique. Not just a mash up of Batman and related characters we already have(aka UCS Hoth). -
[MOC] A Stroll Through Downtown- Lizard Suit Guy

Reptar was an unintentional spoof of Godzilla. But no. That minifig does not remind me of Godzilla. If anything he is in a dinosaur suit if not resembling Reptar. However since Reptar from the classic Nickelodeon cartoon Rugrats was part of my childhood I prefer to think of that. -

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors

Honestly, if they just included about double the minifgures so it looked like an actual Imperial Assault and Rebel Defense Force, that might make up for the rest. Mainly needs more Storm Troopers and Rebel Troopers. It would still be a lacking set but at least you would get a ton of Minifigs for the cost. -

That is what I was expecting. I was hoping when they said "modular" it would mean they took the design concepts from their modular series and give that treatment to the whole Echo Base. Do everything, every room, ect. Instead, they did this terrible mashup and slapped a UCS title on it to justify the price. There isn't even an AT-AT! How can you have the battle of Hoth without at least 1 AT-AT?! -

This is awesome. I'm loving these micro builds I've been seeing recently! The Minifigure reminds me of Reptar: :) -
It's a great set and I love that it's being made. I just think $70 is a bit steep. Wall-E was well worth that price tag but this I think needs to be more like $50. Edit: Then again, I think it may also depend on how many themes are included with this, Minifigures, ect.

Eurobricks Mega Building LEGO CMFs Contest 2016
Tech Artist replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Just ordered the pieces I need. Majority from Bricks and Pieces. The few they didn't have I had to use Bricklink. Expensive for such a small build but it will be worth it. Luckily I have some of the pieces already or this would have been more expensive. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Tech Artist replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Man, this service just saved me money and a load of time rather then going through Bricklink. Unfortunately they did have 3 pieces I needed so I'll have to source that through Bricklink. -
1) It is an NFC chip. I assume the data is being written directly to it and not saved in the toypad itself. According to the official FAQ, the chips come blank. So, I assume then that means you can use it on any one's game but I am unsure if the developers wrote something into the game preventing you from using it if you haven't unlocked it. Not even sure what to Google to even begin looking for an answer. 2) Yes. Only the game and the disc are platform specific. 3) It is an NFC chip. 3 Modular Houses - old & modern, with Kwik-E-Mart, TBBT and more
Tech Artist replied to cimddwc's topic in LEGO Town
For some reason I can't get over that black room on top of the building. It's so smooth and well done. How did you come up with that? What is it called? Is it based off anything in real life? The FOOLOO room is great. It's nice to see a use for all those separators that seem to just accumulate. -

Does your local Lego Store(if you have one) have any? Walmart, Walgreens, Toys R' Us? -

Wear an official looking outfit and tell them your with quality control. Probably won't get anymore weird looks. :) Edit: Quick question, I assume stores are replenished right? So, if one week a box is picked clean, then the next they should have a fresh box if they don't already have a mountain of them in back? -

Have you tried at Hillsdale Shopping Center Lego Store(not from San Fransisco, just Googled)? -

Highly recommend going to your local Lego Store. They had pre-felt bags(not a guarantee of course). The only one I had to search for on my own was bandage guy. Ended up picking up 2 Left Shark, Bandage Guy, Indian, and The Queen. Also finally got Wall-E! I'll get the rest later as I need to save the rest of my refund for more important stuff. It feels good to finally have enough money to buy a bunch of Lego for once. :) -

I plan on going to my local Lego Store. I am gonna be there right when they open. Already know which minifigs I want(not going for a full set atm); Left Shark, Bandage Guy, Tribal Lady, and one of the animal figs. Also getting Wall-E finally! I am excited that today is the 1st at last. I've wasted too much gas checking my local stores only to come up empty. -

Saw Toys R' Us was selling Series 15 on their website, immediately went down to to my local store to see if maybe they were selling it, no luck. Check Target while I was at it, nothing. So elusive before the 1st. :( Current plans are to go to my local Lego store on the 1st right when they open and get them. Going for 2 Left Shark(I will always call him this), Bandage Guy and one of the animals. I am also picking up Wall-E(will make sure they have the fixed neck otherwise I'm ordering it from S@H). -
This definetly has potential. The design is fantastic and I love how low they are to the ground yet still function despite the low clearance. This is definetly something Lego has tried before according to Bricklink so I think since this seems much more detailed I think it has a great shot of becoming a set. It seems like it would fit in well with the City theme.

Does anyone know anything about this promo house?

Looked up some of the pieces on Bricklink to see if I could find this set. Nothing. -
Is there any date on a release? Also congrats!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion

So my search has still come up empty. At this point, I'm done and waiting till my local Lego store has them on February 1st. I managed to get my hands on some series 13 so that was at least a plus. Also I read Walgreens might still have some series 12 but I'm not 100% sure. My local one said they did but they were not actually in stock.
